I would sell your rigs, and try to invest in something else.
3  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ways to Earn Money on Bitcoin Faucets on: August 14, 2014, 11:19:43 AM
Faucets is a waste of time. Think what you can do well, and open your service for BTC.
4  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am new,looking to start mining. on: August 14, 2014, 11:16:51 AM
If I would start mining now, I won't choose bitcoins. Check some other cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin might not be profitable right now.

It's fine for me Smiley
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: which is the good site to get wallet? on: August 06, 2014, 11:34:03 AM
I'm using blockchain.info wallet, although when I will have bigger amount, I'll switch to cold storage probably.

9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Project : My first Bitcoin !!! on: August 02, 2014, 08:26:08 AM
Your project doesn't seem to be easy...
Maybe try to open your service? Do something what you can do well, and sell it for BTC.
Good luck anyway.

You said put it in the cloud?  Any guides on how to do that?  Keep in mind I am brand new and still learning

Not cloud - cold storage.  Essentially you're putting the coins somewhere that they are able to be accessed from the internet regularly.  This way they can only be destroyed in your house or stolen if somebody breaks in.

Armory has a very simple to follow step-by-step procedure for cold storage.  It might be a little over the top for $50, but it is definitely secure, especially with an M of N paper wallet:
https://bitcoinarmory.com/about/using-our-wallet/

Armory definitely is great and very secure, especially for setting up a fragmented m-of-n wallet.
But for $50, a paper wallet generated with bitaddress (when your computer is disconnected with internet) should be good enough. Smiley
For me, Armory was quite hard to start...
For first month of playing with BTC, I'd go with simple blockchain.info wallet.

Armory is overkill if all you have is play money.  If you have a week of income or more in BTC I would secure it in a cold wallet. A small amount can be kept in an online wallet and if it gets hacked it's not such a terrible loss - it's the price to be paid for convenience.

There's nothing that says you can't have 2 wallets.  Most people have more than 2 places they store money - cookie jar, bank, wallet, car glove box, under the mattress lol
Well, point for you...
But I'm poor, so I don't need any cold storage right now, haha  Grin

World is what it is - it's never equal, because there are always a group of people who tries to rule everything.

I know that feeling, too.
However, most time of having it was during my childhood.
Now, I have it rarely.
16  Other / Off-topic / Re: Whats the best product to get my 70 year old dad on the internet? on: July 24, 2014, 01:00:09 PM
Tablet is good option, I taught my mum how to use Skype on Android.
She couldn't do it on PC, but she's able to do it on tablet.
Maybe touching interaction is better for old people than keyboard / mouse?

Knowledge should be free in my opinion. Not everybody can afford things, does it mean he shouldn't have it?
18  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinTalk phishing scam! on: July 23, 2014, 12:28:18 PM
I only use this email addy on this site and I have been getting heaps of virus, spam, phishing emails.
The site has been hacked a few times but Theymos swears the hacker could not of gotten the email list, even though they had access to the backend for like 6 months........... Interesting ay.

How come they got your e-mail?

The email addresses must of got leaked if this is the only place you use the email and are getting Bitcoin spam and virus emails.
That's sad, I thought there weren't issues like this on this forum.

I believe the forums were hacked into sometime last year and a database of emails was leaked. It was around the same time the ability to change one's own avatar was disabled.

Since these guys did the same thing with Coindesk (look here) I still can't believe they actually have my email. Like I said they sent it to an email address that doesn't even exist and I just captured it on the way.
Good to know anyway. Luckily I only use my mail for this forum.

Buy a wifi antenna the longer the range the better. Some can reach up to 20 km. If buy you from some chinese in ebay they even include a cd that will enable you to automatically hack weak wifi systems and you will able to connect even it has passwords.
Can you provide me a link with auction like this?
Never heard of CDs like these. That's how script kiddies are born.
