...

I am sure you have been busy trolling around and missed the fact that the Coinomi mobile wallet has been released ages ago.

Also, despite of your "Hero Member" title, I suspect you are new to crypto, as you act like you have never seen any */CNY chart. (be it BTC/CNY, LTC/CNY, or any coins that is on jubi/btc38/huobi/okcoin/bitfinex, tell me which one does not look like pump and dump?)

+1
that what i said, the volume is really low, that means that people are done trading for the next few days
that dump was really noobish
i mean lol, look at the buy wall @ bittrex

My guess is people on btc38 is dumping to chase the stock market gold rush.

A friend of mine is at work now and I told him to check the news on PayCoin...
When I told him, he was shocked....  He owns more than 50k PayCoin...
That will be fun if he dumps all of it... [More Popcorn Sound]

In the end, he accepted I was right about PayCoin and he regrets...
I wish he had listened me before...

He better be quick.
The buy orders are disappearing...

This is new stealth launch looks more or less like a Ninja new announcement in order to make the price rise and therefore make the assholes who post this news will profit from it

If stealth is going to be part of Blackcoin then it should be included in Official wallet.

Ninja launch such as what has happened today is not going down well to with me. I have over 1Million BC and will not hesitate to put further Ninja launches in it's rightful place!

Ninja announcement?

The anon wallet was discussed in IRC during April/May last year and it was decided to be separated from the main wallet. Also, soepkip announce that on bitcointalk (the moderated thread) during June last year. Although the project does no made much progress during that time, The Black Chamber Dev Group was formed and announcement was made on reddit during November last year.

So despite of the announcement on various channels over a year, and you still called it a ninja? It must be a very slow ninja then.

Regarding why this wallet is not included in the Official wallet. The answer is simple. It is not part of the core protocol.
The same goes with SPV wallets in BTC. SPV is part of bitcoin protocol, but it is not included in the Bitcoin-core.

- I cannot see any minting info in the wallet.
In my Faircoin wallet, there is a tab called "Minting". In this tab you can see exactly what amounts are in the wallet and what the maturity of each amount is in days. It also tells me what the minting probability per amount is.
This way I always know when I should have my wallet set to minting and when it's no use to do so.
With Blackcoin I'm always guessing if something is happening and the last few times, it turned out that absolutely nothing was happening.
I think these are big flaws that could easily be helped.
For me these are also big things when it comes to deciding if I want to invest more in Blackcoin.

If you hover over the staking icon, you will be able to see your weight and the network's weight. The probability of generating a block is (your weight/network weight)

In the coin control window, you will be able to see every single unspent inputs in your wallet, and their confirmations

@Subtuppel, I don't understand Jubi, you are on a site posting in English, but that site is all Chinese. Most volume for BTC? you mean BLK->BTC

According to coinmarketcap http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/#markets , it has the most BTC vs fiat volume for fee-collecting exchanges  (Fee-free exchanges are excluded from the ranking).

Also it seems to be a chinese only exchange.

Hello,

I was curious for blackcoin, everything sounded so nice and "fast" on their website... now I installed the wallet blackcoin-qt (current qt version 5.3.2 and blackcoin version v1.1.2-35-g55a46ff) and it doesn't take hours, it takes DAYS (or maybe forever?) to synchronize with the network. And it takes processor capacity, and the computer becomes hot and ventilation goes up. I have a fast internet connection, there are for example 17 connections, and never had this problem with other wallets.

What is it? If this is so lame, this currency will never be used by anyone...?

Have you tried syncing using the bootstrap? http://www.reddit.com/r/blackcoin/comments/2ogpnz/blackcoin_bootstrapdat_up_to_block_480000/

Do I use the same way of accessing the commands as the Bitcoin wallet?
e.g. PHP?

Yes, the same way should work. The only different is default port for blackcoin is 15715 while bitcoin is 8332

Can someone give me the list of JSON commands for this coin and a how-to guide for the JSON?

Many thanks  Grin

The RPC commands are bitcoin compatible, however, there are some extra commands eg: getstakinginfo, checkkernel, getstakesubsidy, getsubsidy

Issue the "help" command for more details.

Regular users (99% of computer users) have no idea what the term "compile" means

I know what compiling means, but the problem would be compiling on Windows. I have a Linux machine, but it is very old (9 years, and sometimes resets out of nothing) so compiling something on it would take ages.

That's why I mentioned that the link for binary is also available on http://blackcoin.co/
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BC) | PoS | No premine | No IPO on: February 18, 2015, 10:33:13 AM
Links for wallet binaries aren't working.  Undecided

1. it is easier and more secure to compile from github than running the binary.

2. the link to binary on blackcoin.co works fine for me.

Not everyone has the skills to compile a binary so it's impossible for them to use any wallet without a binary.

but the link to the binary is working.. (at least at my end)

edit: also the instruction on compiling/installing is here: http://www.reddit.com/r/blackcoin/wiki/installation-and-building

Amateurs build exchanges is the biggest problem of the crypto world.   Imagine how good bitcoin could be with proper exchanges.

"Where there is a will, there is a way" - hacker/attacker/thief will always try to find their ways.

Also, even the traditional financial institutions can't escape that. http://rt.com/news/232627-banks-hacked-russian-expert/
