1  Bitcoin / Mining support / Mining on Windows Home Server - possible? on: February 17, 2012, 11:11:44 PM
I have a home server doubling as a mining rig, which is currently running WinXP. I want to install WHS2011 on it, but I'm wondering if I'll still be able to mine with this OS? I'm mainly worried about video card drivers and the AMD APP SDK installing correctly on a server OS. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I use -f120 with Guiminer on my 6950, that prevents any noticeable GPU related slowdowns for me, at only a ~10MH/s hashrate reduction. If it still feels slow, you can try higher numbers.
