SCAM
this is the the real zerocoin zerocash project  will be released later this year

http://zerocoin.org/
maybe a scam, maybe just a copy from the good idea.
we will see.

no it s no scam. anyway, we are focusing more on finalising stuff for the launch
and not commenting FUD and troll/spam posts in this thread.

btw - we already posted that this is a NEW project (multialgo, tor/i2p native integrated, etc.) and
only implementing the 1st generation libzerocoin headers/sources in the codebase to provide
zerocoin-support.

P.S.
first winner of 24h mining contract is: CryptoJohn
(you ll get 24h free mining for the ZERO-launch.
i will send you a PM 48h before launch.)

so, how can I trust you that you don't keep p and q ?

we will not keep any sensitive values. but the answer for your questions is that you have to trust us
because we have no chance to proof you that we don't keep them.

what's the way that you choose to generate parameter ?

the param-gen routine will use factors calculated from our generated prime numbers..
the lenght of used RSA modulus will be minimum 2048 bit.

---------

!!! WARNING !!! THIS HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ORIGINAL ZEROCOIN PROJECT AND THE USER IS A SCAMMER WITH NO CLUE OF CRYPTOGRAPHY AT ALL! The user has an activity of 6, nobody knows who he is. Dont buy this shit!

Take a lesson from the scam here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=677434.msg7855678#msg7855678

Stay away if you dont want to lose all your money with that shitcoin! i guess thats the newest thing, that somebody just copies a name from a different project and makes a clone of something. how poor and shady is it that you just copy a name and try to make profit with this?

----------

you can find the real Zerocoin / Zerocash project here which is under development of :

    Eli Ben-Sasson (Technion)
    Alessandro Chiesa (MIT)
    Christina Garman (Johns Hopkins University)
Matthew Green (Johns Hopkins University) <-- google...
    Ian Miers (Johns Hopkins University)
    Eran Tromer (Tel Aviv University)
    Madars Virza (MIT)

(unofficial) [/b]

we never said that this is the original zerocoinproject. we have just integrated the libzerocoin headers/sourcefiles into your codebase.
this is just OUR PROJECT! THIS PROJECT IS LEGIT AND WE WILL PROVIDE FULL ESCROW FOR ALL PRESALE ACTIVITIES!

BTW - the original zerocoin devs (Ian Miers has moved over to zerocash). the libraries we use will only provide anonymous transaction
origin. destination and amount will not be hidden like in zerocash (the new improved version of libzerocoin).

SO PLEASE DELETE THIS POST AS IT IS NOT SHOWING THE TRUTH.
we have already posted on page 1 what this project is about. we already posted that this
cryptocurrency is NEW and has the library implemented which is provided by Ian Miers.

How much hashing power do you get for the free 24 hour mining?

we ll provide 24h hashingpower worth about 30-50 USD.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]ZeroCoin[ZERO] - first sha256/scrypt/x11 PoW/PoS coin with zerocash support on: July 19, 2014, 03:07:50 AM
we will give away a dozen of free "24h mining contracts" before launch.
just post in this thread. we will pick up a winner everyday at 00:00 UTC.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]ZeroCoin[ZERO] - first sha256/scrypt/x11 PoW/PoS coin with zerocash support on: July 19, 2014, 02:54:44 AM
Is this Ian Miers' project or a coin hoping others will think it is? 2% premine is also unusually high for new coins.

Good question, was wondering the same thing.

no this is not Ian Miers project although it uses Ian Miers zerocoin library.

Can you explain how it uses Ian Miers' zerocoin library. As far as I know he has moved on to zerocash. Also why have you named your coin after his project?

we extended our sources and added zerocoins functionality (to hide a transactions origin).
zerocash is basicaly based on libzerocoin but extended to hide also amounts and destination.
libzerocoin is the library which is used and adapted by us. we named this project zerocoin
because the idea came from the original zerocoin/zerocash developers.

premine2%? Shocked.........I like no premine Smiley

premine is kinda important to be able to provide further features and development.

why x11 ? Change to x15

to reach more users and build a larger community.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / [ANN]rebranding in progress on: July 19, 2014, 02:05:33 AM
INFO: LAUNCH CANCELED

DUE TO SCAM ACCUSATIONS WE WILL FINISH THE
WHITEPAPER AND RELAUNCH WITH REBRANDED PROJECT.

we think using the name of other already established project
is not okay and finally understand the concerns as it could potentionally
irritate investors/miners/traders.
