Boomsling didn't you twitter to your followers that coinsource is BS and there ways of handling coins is terrible? Did your threats towards them help Keys rating?

Tell him he should not forget to change his profile before he is trolling in other threads lol

I'm the one GamingUnleashed referred to, I'm assuming, unless someone else have been added too. And I have no plans to troll in any threads - I have a real life to live, and time is too precious to troll. Besides I'm a better developer than troll.

I was asked if I would like to talk to the KEY devs to see if I can offer some assistance and if it's worth me joining, and I agreed, though from what I can see the existing devs have things well in hand already (don't ask me for details - that's not up to me). Never hurts to have more eyes looking at stuff though, and I absolutely will do my best to contribute. I'm putting my money behind it, and buying some KEY (still small amounts) as well.

(Only other thread you'll find me in at the moment is the CRYPT thread. I mention that only because I'm sure people will go through my (short) bct posting history. I still hold CRYPT; not worth it selling now; if it doesn't rebound, I'll have lost ca 15BTC. I've offered to help on tech there too, but before anything could possibly happen there, MindFox needs to deliver, and at the moment KEY will be my focus; that's my final word on that matter in this thread)

You need to shut the fuck up too. I'm 100% sure you are one of the 30 members of this Scammer group. making like you guys bring someone new in. This game is getting old

Someone can explain this?

"Cryptcoin

In the preceding sections I have explained the key ideas underlying Bitcoin. The actual implementation employs some additional ideas to improve the practicality and scalability of the system. For example, the full transaction details associated with a Bitcoin block can be quite large, and for reasons of scalability it is desirable not to have to send around these details each time a particular block is mentioned. For demonstration purposes though, details like this can be safely ignored without changing the essentials of the system, and this is what I have done in designing a simplified version of Bitcoin which I am calling "Cryptcoin". In designing Cryptcoin, I made use of information on the Bitcoin protocol that is that is available at the Bitcoin Wiki, including the protocol specification and protocol rules pages. Since Cryptcoin is a simplified version of Bitcoin (and different from it), although these detailed descriptions of Bitcoin available online might be helpful to some extent, they should not be expected to match exactly what is done in Cryptcoin. Of course, it goes without saying that Bitcoin source code will also not be of much use in the Cryptcoin system.

Like Bitcoin, the Cryptcoin system is a peer-to-peer network of nodes that exchange information by sending various kinds messages. In general, there are only a few rules in Cryptcoin about what messages should be sent at what time, so there is a fair amount that is left to the discretion of the implementor. There are two basic types of Cryptcoin nodes: servers, which can accept incoming connections from other nodes and are full participants in the propagation of blocks and transactions through the system, and clients, which can connect to servers but do not themselves accept incoming connections and do not further propagate blocks and transactions they receive. In Cryptcoin, miners will be server nodes, though there can also be servers that do not engage in the creation of blocks. End-user applications, such as a "wallet" that keeps track of Cryptcoin funds belonging to a particular person and allows that person to send and receive funds, might well be implemented as client nodes. Another example of a client node, which you will probably find helpful in developing an understanding of the Cryptcoin system, is a Cryptcoin Explorer client that I have written. This client serves a purpose similar to that of the Bitcoin Block Explorer or Blockchain.info websites.

Node Function

When a Cryptcoin node is started, it attempts to initiate a connection to one or more "well-known" servers whose addresses are found in a pre-programmed list. Once a connection has been made between two nodes, they begin to exchange messages. An initial "connect/acknowledge" handshake is used to exchange information about the software version of each of the nodes. After that, each node regularly "pings" the other, in order to be able to detect when a peer has become unresponsive and to close the connection to it. Another type of message is used to propagate the addresses of server nodes through the system. When a node hears about a server, it typically will retain its address for some time, so that it will be available in case one or more of its existing connections are lost and new connections need to be made. Finally, the main work of Cryptcoin is accomplished by exchanging messages that serve to propagate information about blocks and transactions.[...]"

Keycoin Dev Comment. - 8/7/2014

It looks like someone flash dumped 28 btc of KEY and around 15 of SDC and then bought the entire SPC book in this sudden price drop. In my opinion it looks like  the result of a compromised API key. An attacker without withdraw API privilege would use a compromised account to buy his own sell orders in another coin. Please, be careful using the pre-compiled trade bots going around and giving them your public and *private* API keys without thinking about it. Perhaps make a second account with limited funds for them to access. I hope nobody in this thread was effected.

Best of luck, and more updates later.

I still don't understand, the pastebin that was posted says SPC coin was dumped. Nothing about Key. What was the reason for the massive dump?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [KEY] KeyCoin | Fair Launch | Daily Updates | 8/6 KeyOS Update on: August 07, 2014, 08:24:18 PM
Ok, i've just completed my conversation with coinsource and they declared that the fud was indeed false, no foul play on the dev team. We're moving forward with things, I'm getting Encrypted messaging completed for a monday implementation, website is being updated both graphics and content, decentralized anon is growing closer to completion every day. I am not walking away, I am still holding all of my key and i plan to buy more (that 54 btc wall was mine) Thanks for all the support everyone!

Ha, the man himself, maybe you can answer what coinsource verification actually proves? how does anyone know that the person coinsource verified is indeed the dev of this coin?

yeah, coinsource do. That's the point.

What so you want, DNA testing?

coinsource do what? how do coinsource verify that the phone no, email, twitter etc etc, actually belong to a dev on this coin?  what does this "verification" process prove?

How does coinsource verify email social media and identification which all EASILY can be manipulated. Please let us know. Im wondering if I can make a coin, a gmail address and twitter address. Find someone on silkroad to make me an ID from ANY country then I have verification? Is that how it works coinsource? Please explain.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [KEY] KeyCoin | Fair Launch | Daily Updates | 8/6 KeyOS Update on: August 07, 2014, 08:17:40 PM
Coinsource uses email social media and a picture ID as verification. Where do they look at the finances of a coin? Come on there re evaluating there validating process now because of Key. There idiots for approving it even though I can shit into a box and call it a coin as long as I have a email social media and ID to prove its not fake.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [KEY] KeyCoin | Fair Launch | Daily Updates | 8/6 KeyOS Update on: August 07, 2014, 07:51:11 PM
This was also blamed on that investing site cryptowhales yesterday and that was bullshit. The anon technology in key is already implemented in other coins. What really is going to hurt people are the ones that supported it. The ones that were paid off to make this look like gold. Enjoy your 10k. Pumpers will try and keep it going but when no investors buy back in they will sell at a lose and leave bagholders like every other coin these guys touch.

Keycoin is taking the exact same route that all of this teams coins do. NOTHING! They never amounted to nothing. Show me a coin these guys invested in or created that actually made an impact. NOTHING this coin si dead. Get out before your stuck with a worthless bag of coins. Dont trust these assholes anymore. You can see that no one is trusting them with these prices especially after they dumped on you. Invest in other coins that this team has not tainted! There is many out there.

Every Keycoin Supporter was all over the news about coinsource. That was Keys only chance to keep legit. Now coinsource sees the truth and they are reviewing. Why review a coin after you approve. Its because there reviewal process is shit! Now they have to redeem themselves by showing they care and reviewing. You better sell now before there review comes out. I know many people emailing coinsource directly about there shady dealing with Keycoin devs. You should email them too so they know they were wrong about all of this!

Yea you should get back to work. Looks like heavier dumping moving in on key lol 14k. This was so predictable but I thought your team would at least give people some hope in this coin before you screw them. Guess I was wrong :/
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [KEY] KeyCoin | Fair Launch | Daily Updates | 8/6 KeyOS Update on: August 07, 2014, 01:35:45 PM
LOL serious? Is this like the NASDAQ of Alts....

To achieve the maximum trust rating they had to provide:

Email address – Verified email address (1 point) - Anyone can make a fake email address
Bitcointalk forum ID – Verify by private message or post if the account is greater than 3 months old (1 point) - Anyone can make a fake BCT account
Social media – Verify by a Tweet, post to Coins Source’s timeline on Facebook or a private message via social media (1 point) - Anyone can make a fake social media address
Mobile phone – Verify by text message (1 point) - Anyone can make a fake phone account
Mailing address – Verify by post card (we send a post card and you send us a code that will be on the post card via email) (1 point) - Anyone can get get a PO box
State ID or license – Send us a photograph of your drivers license (2 points) - Anyone can get a fake ID from anywhere in the world

So they do not verify anything about the actual user and that person financials. NOTHING ABOUT FINANCIALS I MEAN WHICH IS THE MOST IMPORTANT. Just need fake accounts to be verified. Im investing in these coins but instead I should really be creating garbage coins and getting them verified. I guess its the only way to make money.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [KEY] KeyCoin | Fair Launch | Daily Updates | 8/6 KeyOS Update on: August 07, 2014, 01:10:07 PM
Roll Eyes

Mind if I ask, which member of the group actually talks through this account? and why do you not release coins under your own name ?  for example, moosa says that cryptcoin was his own personal creation, but then uses another completely new account to make the release thread?

Thats because when this all goes to shit you cant harass one of their team members when they screw you. Everyone is going after Moosa about Crypt now. So they post under keycoin so no one can find out who they are. Its pretty easy to see. When they dump and leave this coin you can only blame keycoin and not a well known member.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [KEY] KeyCoin | Fair Launch | Daily Updates | 8/6 KeyOS Update on: August 07, 2014, 12:40:37 PM
OMG I cant believe this team did it again! Amazing I would think they would wait a little bit longer to screw everyone like this on Key. There is no support on this coin its another pump and dump piece of garbage. Dont follow these guys anymore this should show you to get out now before it gets really bad. Hopefully there next coin wont screw anyone else out of their money like Crypt and Key. GET OUT OF KEY INVEST IN REAL COINS! THIS TEAM IS DONE!
