Islam is a plauge to this planet.
People are a plague to this planet. Most western states used to do this sort of stuff but the Islamic states are currently lagging behind in getting with the times but this is just what happens when you let religious nuts get there own way and run a country. I'm sure many Christian would want to kill people for similar things if they could get away with it.

I think all currency will become digital at some point in the future. Wouldn't be surprised if it happened within our lifetime either. I think it will have to be based on crypto too otherwise people could probably fake it but governments will still probably issue or control it.

Didn't satoshi himself say something along the lines of that bitcoin would either be mass adopted or bust within ten years? I think the same really though unless something else comes along even if the mainstream doesn't fully adopt bitcoin it will still have its use as an alternative or on the black market etc.

You know what? Give me ten successful PD stories.
Tell me how much good this website has done to people.
You can't.
It's designed to make people lose. And come back, and lose again.
You can argue that is not scamming, fair enough, it's just business. But why do we need to feed a business like this that never pays back?
A business that makes people crippled? And ruined?
Yes that is a scam to me. Worse that straight-forward stealing. I hope Stunna is happy with his creation that lead to many people destroying their lives.
And this is now, I know what they had to do to reach this point. And that was not pleasant either.
Not replying further.
Your logic is absolutely ridiculous. Nobody forces people to throw away their money. Are nightclubs and drug dealers to blame for people losing their money on alcohol and other drugs? No. Gambling like drugs is a choice and in moderation can be both fun and no issue. Some people just can't handle either. You personally might find gambling morally wrong but plenty of others dont or choose not to gamble. The choice is always theirs.

Spies? There's probably more trolls here than their is spies. There are lots of scammers if that's what you mean but I doubt they're spies. Not me. I don't want anyone's bitcoins. I don't even know what I'd do with one. I heard they cost 300 each.
Umm... what? Why are you even here if you don't want any bitcoins or are interested in them?

Since it's a known future event, the halving should not affect the price.
Bitcoin value is mainly psychological. I expect many people will start panic buying if they see the price start to rise near the halving which I expect it will. This can have a knock on effect too. Mining activity, though, sees a big cut in revenue, and some miners are going to drop out. Miners presumably have run spreadsheets and know what gear goes to negative ROI after the halving, and will presumably have planned things so it more than paid for itself well before the cutoff date. How do you know? Maybe due to the lower supply of bitcoins the price may rise?

Mine is the surname of someone I used to go to school with. No idea why it popped into my head but couldn't think of any others as they were all taken.

I just briefly looked at the map and about 90% of Canada's territory seemed clean of any dots. I know the majority of Canadians live in the South, but it still looks like there's much less users there than in the States. Another interesting thing is that there's a lot of lonely women in India ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) It's based in Canada too apparently. I saw this on wikipedia: The site also charges money to delete accounts, although they may be hidden for free.[19] The paid deletion includes allegedly removing messages sent from the mailboxes of their recipients. The data disclosures in 2015 disclosed that this "permanent deletion" feature did not delete anything, and all data was recoverable.
I wonder if they could get sued for this. I know someone filed a class action lawsuit but not sure how much the site is to blame for the leak though not deleting stuff people paid to wipe could get them in bother.

I saw something about this on the news or a documentary or something a while ago. It's just weird and pointless. What is it with humans and the desire to live forever It's not really living forever though is it? But people want to live forever because they fear death.

still HOLDING will hold till it reached $330 USD and if it reached $330 USD, thats the time i'll decide if i'll let go or still hold on to it ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) $330 is not really a level i would want to wait for to sell my coins. hold it at least till the block halving if you don't need the money. Lol yeah. I think you should aim a little higher than 330. I also agree you should hold until at least the block halving though I think holdign them for 3-5 years would be the best investment as bitcoins growth will take time.

i also think arnold would be a good candidate, but for teens it's better to look at some young group or band that do music that are for their target and that can promove bitcoin, there isn't something better to encourage teens to embrace bitcoin
Why? Nobody can ever understand anything he says. I think ones like Nas and the Winklevi are great because they understand bitcoin for what it can achieve and have personally invested in it.

No, bitcointalk is unique in this way. I don't think there's any other forum that has this option. https://bitcointa.lk/It's like this forum, but with way less traffic. Other than that, I don't know any other forum. I don't think there will be any other bitcoin forum with more traffic and better posters than you can find here. That's just a mirror of this site and is no longer updated as far as I'm aware.

It's only possible if you share the addresses by spend-linking, but if you send lots of money from one address to the other then people will likely be able to work it out. There's even a feature on blockchain.info which shows likely addresses that belong to you I believe.

Is it possible someone make a thread with all the information available for newbies and ask mods to sticky the thread?
The most common answer in all the threads that even a brand new account can find is signature campaigns, still cannot understand why everyone asks the same question again and again.
It wouldn't matter. There's stickies in Meta giving answers to most questions relating to activity and how to recover accounts but nobody ever reads them and just asks the same question over and over.

Can you be tracked by these chips? I saw the film Survivor recently and in it the gov tracked their agents via chips in their IDs, though I guess they could have or do it with smart phones these days.

Still HODLING strong (not that I have any choice to do anything else). I've been buying for 18 months now but because I bought a fair chunk when the price was like 500-600 USD there's no way I'm doing anything except HODLING for the forseeable future, no way am I willing to sell anything at a big loss. Calmly HODLING for as long as I need to.
I never really why these people sell at a loss. It's easy to see the potential for bitcoin to get back to its previous high and even further, but people just need patience so I agree and think it's silly selling at a loss. I'd rather take the gamble and hold for mega profits in the future. These people will be kicking themselves if bitcoin goes to the moon again.

I'm surprised he didn't just leave the USA and operate his business from somwhere outside the reach of US cops, like Russia. Then he would be totally safe
He obviously wasn't cut out to be a drug kingpin. He made some very silly mistakes but I agree he shouldn't have been residing within the US. He might still be free now had he not.
