1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is It Late To Invest In Bitcoin? on: November 07, 2023, 10:21:41 PM
I am a 20-year-old student. Not long ago, I heard a famous cryptocurrency expert in Korea on YouTube.

He said, "Bitcoin investment seems to be late, to be honest. I'm sad, too. I think 2018 was the last chance for ordinary people."

This makes me feel depressed. That expert started investing in bitcoin in 2013, and he encouraged his acquaintances to invest in bitcoin, but at that time he said everyone thought he was crazy.

Honestly, as an ordinary college student, the price of bitcoin now feels too much to buy.. If it's the price of the early 2010s, I might have bought it through a part-time job..

I'm so pathetic and depressed because I didn't know Bitcoin quickly. What should I do? Cry

Too late for what? Too late to buy for $10 and sell it for $1,000,000 10 years later, probably. But not too late to escape a broken monetary system that is designed to rob you of  all your purchasing power and is guaranteed to continue doing so at an increasing rate! Anyone saying you're to late simply isn't getting Bitcoin and/or the current system.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you cope with those around you not believing in you for choosing Bitcoin? on: November 07, 2023, 08:51:53 PM
Pretty much self explanatory.  How do you do it?

Here is my way.  I mostly pushed away and pulled out of relationships with people who seem to stand against my beliefs.  Instead of convincing them I just moved on.  I found that a lot of those who do not believe in my choice of investment and think I will fail are the same people who never listen.  Know it alls who rather put you down and disregard your feelings with no logical reasoning.  Sometimes it feels like they envy you or some thing.

I believe this is a healthy way of handling your environment.  Keep negativity outside your bubble.  Only keep close to you people who give you the ambition and optimism to continue.  Not sure how many of you believe in this.  But manifesting negativity has always brought negative outcome in my life.  Surrounding myself by positive thoughts and positive people has brought a strong source of light all the time.

Fully grasping Bitcoin is an individual journey. Those who are against it may not have even begun their journey. Those who see it as just an investmen in fiat terms like a stock still have some ways to go. Everyone will get there with enough time. Provide information if asked for otherwise leave them to their choices. Never ever try to push Bitcoin on someone who's not yet able to see it. I would never cut someone out of my life just because they don't view things the same or believe in the same things I do, that sounds like a very polarizing and toxic way to deal with it.
