Technology has been one of the factors that has made things very easy for everyone, gone are days when people were finding it very difficult of sending letters from one person to another do to the lack of internet, so however for a message to be send across it must go through postal office and before it gets to the recipient it takes up to days. But however the arrival of internet changed everything and made it very easy everyone to convey messages from a person to another through emails.
So Boiling it down to Bitcoin and banks, actually the existence of Bitcoin has greatly improved the mindset of people especially on investment diversification such as profits making because is obvious that any money we put or save on the bank will not yield any profit so instead of people saving much money on the bank when there is a great opportunity offered by Bitcoin to channel all our money with the possibility of making or multiplying our capital in the future. So perhaps do you guys think the reason why most countries are having some restrictions on Bitcoin is because of the effects it has on the bank that people prefer to invest there funds on Bitcoin instead of banks?.

Considering all the things that has been happening in this country nobody will be happy, we no that no country is perfect but at least the well being of there citizens should be there major priority but in the case of Nigerian government noting like that when we have all the resources that can take care of everyone but instead all they care for is only there pockets.
If you check very well you will see that millions of people are graduating from school every year and no employment nothing to empower the youth, when the reason for going to school is to become a successful man in the future and spending years in school you come back home to start from square one, who will not be angry at the government, we have not even talk about the high cost of living in the country were the average man find it difficult to have a two square meal a day.

My people I greet una ooo, actually I'm a beginner here in a quest for knowledge about cryptocurrency which I have been getting from you guys by reading through some of our higher members post.
But however I discovered that there are so many topics here that are not cryptocurrency related, and even in most cases topics that was supposed to discus privately will be posted here, please don't get me wrong I'm not against any post but however irrespective of what local boards stands for we shouldn't be posting all sorts of information here.
Or perhaps I don't no how possible it is to bring or add more sections like Child Board, Off topic, Politics & society in our local Board, at least with that we should be guided on the kind of topics we are creating because one of our major objective here is to learn about cryptocurrency from each other but we are overloading our local board with some informatioms that doesn't have to be here.
No offense but actually looking out most of the topics here, it seems as if we are not coordinated, I no that most of our higher members are really trying to make sure everyone is well carried along which I'm very grateful.
Also I want to apologize to anyone I may have upset with my post, or if is contrary to the rules here, also I may not be the right person to say this but do to how important this local board is to me that's why I decided to share or ask if possible to have a board like Off topic, Child board and politics to enable us no which direction a topic is supposed to be channel.

That's true during MMM era so many people lost a great huge amount of money which has built there mentality to see every other online including Bitcoin to be a scam, and one of the things that affected people's views on Bitcoin is that most platform uses fake Bitcoin minine platform and other platform using Bitcoin as a method of investment and scamming people of there money, I believe that's one the reason why most people who doesn't really no about Bitcoin to think is a scam.

But the sad thing is that, there are certain people who choose to hold financial information to themselves instead of sharing it with the people around them. This issue has become the common habits of Nigerians which has increase greediness among us.
Watin e go cost me if I tell you where I dey get my money ?, As long as I no put hand for bad thing, then I suppose fit give reasons to anybody why I dey buy some cryptocurrency.
My brother I get your point na true u they talk about withholding an information that could actually help someone improve on there financial or other things but I would say let's not view it on one direction because most at times people tend to keep some good information that could help others if shared within themselves is because sometimes showing people what you normally do could backfire in some cases for example introducing a friend into a platform that could profit the both of you and along the line the person you introduce stole from the platform so is the person that brought him that will be held responsible, I'm not disputing the facts that sharing a good information that could actually help someone is bad but I'm only trying to state some obvious reasons why most people prefer keeping there information to themselves. |

I wonder why most people will like to plagiarize while they can just use there knowledge or understanding they have on that particular topic instead of plagiarize, well in most cases of plagiarism is course if someone has no dea about a particular discussion and really want to comments so the only alternative that could to come his mind is to plagiarize. so my advise to my fellow newbie is that, is better watching and learning if we don't have an idea of or contribution to a discussion than plagiarize.

In every local board there is differences either in behavior or ways of handling things, although I'm still new here but I have been reading and going through several post about this local board I have seen nothing but understanding togetherness, so I they thank those our oga them for this our local board the way them they take moderate am they give me joy them they always make sure say everybody they follow as others they go.

Yeah truly is very common, but me I'm seeing it as a strategy of extorting money from people, even me I was paying money using my card through pos machine I was debited but could not get to the recipient at first I was thinking is a network issue I waited for almost two days so I decided to go to the bank and lay complain which I did and they told me to give them ten working days and after the ten working days still the money was not reverse I went to the bank over and over till now the money was not reverse so that's was they stole the money.

Nigeria that has been known to be the giant of Africa with enough mineral resources name them, Nigeria have all it takes to become a great nation were countries in the world would be wishing to live but it was quite unfortunate that our leader has there own plans and agenda on how they can mode the country money to there pocket were as the masses are suffering from abject poverty feeding from hand to mouth, the cost of living is very high, somethin we can easily buy with small amount before is now very difficult to get again, I don't really no the way forward for this country because if the circle of leaders continues the suffering will always continue onless God intervention.

That's what we expect from the people that's resistance to technology and the opportunities brought by internet, but actually it was not only Bitcoin that was tagged as a scam by most people in the country but every other online business, although I believe is because of the awareness created by those people that call themselves a Yahoo boys, so people decided to generalize online weather Bitcoin or any other means so far is online they see it as scam.
