Thank you guys. I felt like it was a scam, my guts kept me safe. But I'm a novice at crypto in general. My only experience was through Robinhood and that was just buying and selling. No wallets or anything so I had no clue. Again thank you guys.

I haven't given him any money, I downloaded Trustwallet off the playstore, and if I did put 100 on there to receive his "5k" I wouldn't be giving him anything, I would be buying 100 of btc on the Trustwallet app. So how would his scam work?

I recently received an offer of financial help. The guys wants to help me by sending me 5k worth of btc. I started a btc wallet, and he claims he sent it, but that I need to purchase 100 dollars worth of btc for the 5k worth to show up.
