My wallet is still connected and staking. Not sure why others are having trouble.  Huh

Someone post some nodes.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CRAVE] CRAVE | Beeping back | Urge Market on: September 22, 2015, 12:07:21 AM
Then CryptoVote will have to compile again and if the majority isn't updating then pushing the update is worthless
I don't mind re-compiling for Windows. If we give users at least 2 months to upgrade, we might get the majority of clients.  This also gives us adequately time to test and work on the next version.  Microsoft and others have pushed some bad patches in the past so some folks wait until the the new version is well tested before considering an update (you know once bitten...).  Others don't care or don't know about it.

Let's do that then, I will modify the code to Fork in November 5 (Remember, Remember the Fifth of November)

What about forking issue?  Shouldn't new qt stay within current block until November 5th?    Problem with previous RC3 was it forked before the reaching the 18800 whatever block height it supposed to forked at, creating a rogue block.    To me that core of the problem.  Am I wrong?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CRAVE 1st POS Masternodes | Dark Assets | I2P | Market [MODERATED] on: September 21, 2015, 11:56:28 PM
ICM...please come back...this is ridiculous nad sad at once.
Never give a responsibility to a children.

I don't think dev is a children, he just got a child from outside in India and put it on a webcam lmao.

Also, what do I put in a video that proves I am really who I say I am? Log in GitHub from my PC on camera?

Nevermind these naysayers.  They probably lost money on recent rise and fall and unhappy. Tune your self off from noises.   I for one thought your rc3 was good except it forked unexpectedly.  Fix that and crashing problem.  Do some testing before releasing it.   When mature product released, I be sure to be first to download it, as others would.  As long as your qt is good without any unexpected behavior, it will stick and gain wider acceptance.  Keep plugging away.  There is light at end of tunnel.

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][FORK[ Crave RC3 | Fork on Block 188000 | PoW/PoS | MNode | BIP32+HD | on: September 17, 2015, 06:00:19 PM
My son is taking the right decision. Crave rebrand:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1182590.msg12445532#msg12445532

I'm not sure if you are fudding or trying very hard to piss me off....

Also, amid this confusion I will basically swap all the damn coins to a new chain, cisahasa, could you kindly enlighten me on any more vulnerability because I am caught myself in a hole...

Also, nobody updates, everybody is fucked in this chain trap, for now, switch back to the ICM Version of Crave....

It's not a rebrand, it a rebirth BTW

I don't know the reason for your persistent attempt to switch over into new algo, but your credibility has been tarnished due to recent rc3 fiasco.   Community will probably resist your next move.

Why not just fix the problem for now.  Stick to icm qt for now and postpone the new forking until rc3 is properly fixed.  No crashing. No unintended forking.   Let not your hard work go to waste.

When that is done, however slow it maybe, you can dish out your new grand plan.  Earn credibility, Earn respect.

Everyone makes mistakes.  Difference is some learns from it.  Perfection comes with price.

Thanks for your Crave efforts!!

*edit
Btw, I did like new qt when it worked.  Small memory foot print and not resources heavy.  Good for my old mn pc.

Thanks.  I will try that.

So I probably need to ditch my new rc3 qt and use old qt to rejoin the larger block chain.  But which one? oxy? or earlier one? Anyone got download link?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][FORK[ Crave RC3 | Fork on Block 188000 | PoW/PoS | MNode | BIP32+HD | on: September 17, 2015, 07:41:04 AM
So which forkchain/network is valid one?
At this moment this is kinda madness, people will loose their coins.

The one with the latest client
Do you understand consequences of your proceeding?

Yup
So do you have thousands of crave to spend on refunds?

Excuse Me? I have told to update the client, If you don't update it, that is then your fault

i agree 8-bit. this was too short time shot.

2 ways to cover damage.
post pone all forks to future. or keep current chain and get angry messages..

Wait, okay, I have edited the code and postponded the fork to Block 200000

Can someone help me clarify the situation now?  I have set up 3 mns fresh with rc3 just before this comment was made, which was early today.  It initially couldn't sync so I deleted existing block chain and reload the chain from the beginning and it worked.  Withdrawal of 500 from bittrex right before maintenance came through no problem and started to earn .6666 whatever.  So i thought fine.

When I checked the block chain from explorer, it showed different chain.  Mine was shorter vs longer chain shown on block explorer.  It did show initial transfer of 500 but anything else after was not in that chain.

Clearly, block chain forked.  Question is, which one is legit? longer one or my shorter one?  Or no one know yet and perhaps depends on Bittrex's decision?

When nittassin said, "I edited the code to postpone the fork to block 2000", does it mean, rc3 download has been altered, that I need to delete my current mn install and download, restart again?

Help me.  I got dumb from too much sun!!!!

As Bobsurplus somehow appeared fudding here on this thread... I wonder if it was he who bought the big part of this ICO, then crashed the buy wall... And now is collecting coins at 1/4 of ICO... This is something to expect from him and his team... They have the appropriate amount of money, and they have appropriate habits..

Why the dolphin/whale on his avatar picture is reminding shark tail so much..?  Grin

What planet are you on dude?

This one, mostly... Smiley

I'm just trying to understand whether that was Dev who crashed the wall to get free coins, or some third-party did to get cheap coins... You seem like a good realistic guess, but thats just a guess, mostly to see your reaction Smiley. Sure there are many other whale-wannabes...

What wall are you talking about?Huh

You're lost kid!

hehe shark is lurking in the water...  I get it.. Cheesy

The following (seed)node should help anybody having problems when attempting to sync the sling wallet:

addnode=104.47.160.204:30137

I am in the process of updating our seednodes over the next couple of days in order to improve speed and stability when syncing.

Thanks.  I got all three wallets both new and old syncing good now with 8 or more connections.  I think lots of wallets went offline to dump but replenished with new coin holders.  Maybe that explains syncing problem.   I started buying at 70k all the way down to 15k satoshi and now has almost enough for 2 masternodes, lol.  Things are only goona look up from here.  Go Dev.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official BitBay Thread |Smart Contracts Wallet UPDATE|Decentralized Marketplace on: May 17, 2015, 12:43:08 AM
Me like David as well.  A Professional coder.  Rare commodity these days among hundreds of copy pasters.  Still holding bulk in wallet, happily staking.  Although I had to sell some holding on trex to free up btc after strings of major losses.  But thing looking up again.  Soon as I make some profits on other coins, I plan to buy more Bay.

While at it, I got an idea.  It got me thinking after getting into Viral IPO.  Maybe something like what viral does could help Bitbay also.  Embrace the social network.  Basically Viral is twitter  spam bot so its days are numbered, but bay could take similar approach but only in self advertising capacity.  It would have auto twit / FB posting features in each wallet.  Owner of these twitting wallet will reap bulk of pos.  Regular non twitting wallets get no pos.

What do you guys think?  It will involve heavy coding and maybe forking too.  But benefits are there.  These twits could include items being sold on Bitbay.  This might entice more seller and buyers to come a board.  Who knows,  with enough momentum, perhaps a major retail can join in on our platform, giving it a huge boost.

I don't know how realistic this is on coding level but just something to put in back of head and simmer for long term project. .

How can you even bring that here to this thread lol Bobsurplus's next scheme Viral 'IPO' money maker, Where he has brought up his own coin again and will be ready to dump all over again lol Some people never learn, I doubt very much David will be into taking any pointers from who are behind that coin somehow. Oh dear my head is in my hands...

Am already out of Viral.  Sold between 10k-12.5k.  I think viral will be dumped when HPOS runs out and can't attract more paying sponsor.  Not sure about Bob.  Everyone is talking about him. Frankly don't care what he does or buys so I don' t pay attention to him.   But idea of twitter/FB marketing could be beneficial.

*edit.  Btw, pump and dump is what everyone is doing.  I can't solely blame him alone but I guess he does have other *tactic* to sway in his favor.

If any of the community is good at writing and would like to help get the word out, we could use some press release / info pack style material to send to media outlets for some much needed publicity.

Excellent! Thanks dev, just updated my wallet.  Smiley

Hmm seems to be syncing slower then before

*virus alert*

Link above by ArnMan has file 28.2mb big and possibly virus infected.  Do not download.  Original posting by DGSlayer has clean copy 12mb big.  It was doing wierd shit on my pc.   I am clean reinstalling window 7 due to this.

Wait, what is that? I need to update wallet ?  After pulling hairs for 2 days setting up masternode, I need to update again? No.  Hope not.

Do I need to Dev?  I do not use i2p or tor.

Title of thread should say, "Live Decentralized Anon Market" or "Buy Sell Anything Goes",  IMHO.

Just got masternode working, I think.  It was breeze when figured out, but was much challenge for dimwit like me.  I mean, what the hell is "vps" on OP?

Thanks dev.
