While I agree that everybody should just keep to themselves how much Bitcoin they own, if somebody is held at gunpoint or at knifepoint, it doesn't anymore matter which wallet you're using, or whether it is multi-sig or not, or whether you have a copy of your seed phrase or some other backup. It's either your life or you cough up those information.
Perhaps it will help if your coins are stored in different wallets. If such a thing happens, God forbid, you will give the information of only one wallet.
It would be a very rare incident for criminals to start asking if you have some coin in your wallet and i don't think bitcoin has become that famous yet for robbers to have such intrest in it, but thei would be possible if the person must have told someone and the information leaked, so i don't believe a robber would just assume I have some bitcoin in my wallet unless he checked my phone and saw an exchange there or wallet he recognised and its also possible I don't have any on my phone too. |

Bitcoin has its benefits as a means of payment and what are think woudl be attractive to many businesses would be transaction speed, in less than minutes the recipients should have received his asset and bitcoin has a more stable network than most bank, like in my country its possible to have days of very bad transaction issues coming from the bank network and business that deal on transfers and pos would be having a lot of issues with customers, but with bitcoin as a payment method, that issue can be resolved and then later sold back for fait to the bank.

I don't get the question you asking, bitcoin is not an activity or hobby of mine so I can't see why the love world should be used, but rather bitcoin you can ask a question of preference, if I would prefer bitcoin over another commodity.
Anyway, I don't or have not though of any situation that would stop me from holding bitcoin and I'm not one of those HOLD LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT guy, I just invest because i find it as a profitable thign to do and besides long term holding is the beat approach to an asset with too possibility like bitcoin.

That's some good analysis, but even so I'll rather also have some of my asset or portfolio in properties, real estate also increases over time and the thign about bitcoin is its seasonal, it does not have a very stable growth, it can rise and fall and even now no-one knows how long this bull would last, some persons prefer to have real estate than bitcoin because its possible to make good profit projections as you invest but with bitcoin you just have to chill and there is no way of knowing when the profits would come, bitcoin surely has more chance of generating more profits for people, but some persons would rather stick with real estate.

It woudl definitely be a difficult thign, most memecoin are just made for profit sake, some win and some lose, its always a gamble when dealing with them, so I don't think a memecoin can have any real utility unless maybe it would be a play to earn games or some other business network that has a means to ensure that the name if the memecoin stays valid and remain useful.

Best altcoins to invest in right now would be the top altcoin, which would be ETH, BNB, SOL, but I think those altcoins has already started going up so it might be tok late to invest now if you are coming in with low funds, so right now I've got my eyes on some meme coins that are most likely going g to do well which is floki, but anyway do your own research before investing into any altcoins for your own safety, anything can happen and in what you are ready to lose.

It's your choice OP, but look at it this way too, investing in altcoins is like playing a gamble and if luckily you win and get profits it wise to first take that profit and withdraw it before investing into another altcoins cause there is also a big chance you lose it all on the other alt, so wise thign to do change to usdt and invest what you can afford to lose on the next alt, better have some than lose all.

The last post on that X account linked you shared was in September last year, and you can't tell me that since that time till now there have not been any recent rugpull scams in the crypto space.
They need to keep the account updated with information about suspected scam tokens even before the scammers succeed in scamming anyone.
Scam tokens appear every day now since solana started hosting memecoin at very affordable prices for scammers, I think Is already a lot of work on their hands now, so give them a break. Great topic OP it's nice that you shared this here, but I also think it would be a good idea to also help them by sharing what ever scam token they burst, that way more people woidl hear about it and keep off. |

I dont think so, bitcoin is the definition of what everything you can trust, it has no company behind it hence no one can wake up day to manipulate it, it completely decentralized unlike other alts that claim to be but still have some insiders.
Apart from that, it would be a very difficult thign to achieve for any altcoin trying to overtake bitcoin, even uf not in price but maybe in usage and popularity, I know a lot of folks that when you mention crypto first thing they think is bitcoin.

It's not a good idea to exchange my good bitcoin for any altcoins especially if its a huge amount, most folks like yo gamble around with their holdings but I don't, bitcoin is always going to be a far better coin than any other aktcoin out there, I'm not saying I can't buy an altcoin but I can't exchange my bitcoin for any altcoin.

Utility is overrated these days, a memecoin having utility changes nothing if the team behind them are quack, a lot of coins with utility still dumped after a few years after their launching don't be fooled, play smart when dealing with altcoins, expect anything. There is no denying that there are so many meme coins in Sol Netwrok today; maybe one of them is cheap because of the price to be paid just to make a meme. I even found a platform where you can make a meme coin for less than 1 dollar and fight it against meme coin hunters.
It's just that if the cost is cheap, that means that you can expect it to be just a matter of time if you can raise money in that style, and the one who knows that it's a detour is probably the one who repeatedly experiences profit in that kind of thing, I think. only.

What you said is right OP cause many gamblers would be tempted to stake more to try their luck and they could end up losing even what they had won in the first place making it a bad habit, so yeah it's a good strategy to withdraw your winning first and leave only what you intend to use to gamble again, that way you stand a better chance of controlling yourself.
