1  Economy / Economics / Re: Leadership and Economics on: June 15, 2024, 07:56:17 PM
There might not be an immediate direct positive impact by a Saint leader on an economic situation of a nation with rotten economic standards. Economic climate of a nation happen over a period of time that quick fix is not possible.

However a good leader should be able to adequately communicate their values and visions for the nation to common citizens understanding thereby making hope visible to at least speak on behalf of the present economic mess of their nation

While investing is not without personal bias, some would love to see themselves among the lucky few only to drop their hard earned dollars in an unreliable financial ditch called altcoin.
3  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K Challenge on: June 15, 2024, 10:22:32 AM
I was so stressed this morning when I woke up but with this challenge, going 50 push up at a stretch rejuvenated my strength, this is to show that this exercise is so good for our body  both physical and mentally, it eases stress, stretches the body tendons, tissues and ligaments even our bodies  system is flushed of internal toxic substance. I am using this medium to appreciate a thread like this which is not only sustained or restricted to pushing up bitcoin but also have contributed immersely to our well being, growth and development.
Some individuals might  oppose but the truth remains the truth, even if the world is falling down..

Oyes truth remains truth e.g "health is wealth". The vitality of keeping the body fit has alot of merits.

@ Boron19, u didn't drop ur report, as well not enlisted  in pushup stat.

Maybe, if u don't know how, here's is the format
100k (till BTC hit 100,000$),ur username, days of pushups, cumulative number of push-ups,date of last report.

E.g 100k,Boron19,1,100,2024-06-15 (ensure u don't keep space for capturing of ur reports)

4  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K Challenge on: June 15, 2024, 09:05:40 AM

Doing this for 18th times.
Like when I started the challenge, I thought that I was going to keep up consistently, only to learn that deliberately skipping at times to relieve stress is reasonable and the issues of life also affects doing pushup (in my case).
However, the vitality is worth it...
Keeping healthy as BTC keeps going higher.
Keep the fire burning.

Today in the evening around 4-5pm in my area, the rain drizzled leaving the environment either for weather for two or weather for tea. So I decided to take my pushup tea and it worked wonders leaving me active for such weather condition.

I think your feeling of trying to make a good impact to the forum is understandable as at a very beginning level one always things here are not proper that some things needs to be added however, as time goes on you will have to understand that the forum is already in a good shape as it is right now. I was once of this kind of opinion until I read further about the forum and I knew it was perfect already.

except the @Admin finds it necessary.

The impression you are giving does not comply with the intent of the post because
A look on the forum speaks louder for itself, how organized the forum is..

You made a point that except the Admin finds it necessary. You should know that the admin finding it necessary does not mean that the forum is not well planned as it is.

Thanks for correcting my mistake. I’ll try to lay better attention. I updated my post so it’s correct now at least.

I have a buddy I got into this challenge. He isn’t a Bitcoiner but he mentioned to me he wanted to start working out so I got him started on this challenge. He’s on day 29 now and frequently reports his progress to me. Pretty cool. Next I’ll get him stacking sats. Smiley
I can feel the vibe

Diagnosis of the real thing or things behind the boredom is the first thing to do. Should it be on you and your internal environment, then you try to champion your attitude to work.
If not, which means it's the work environment, then check the intensity of this boredom. From your judgment if very high, leaving that work place should be an option. Because toxic work environment can say so much about you and your long run in life. It can have negative impact on your life.
12  Other / Off-topic / Re: Our mind is powerful on: June 03, 2024, 08:58:42 AM
The mind is the driving force behind our entirety. Even when the brain would want to take over our being, the mind well trained will always take the lead whether in good or evil.
The mind will wage war or always produce peace no matter what.
The mind is indeed powerful!

Merit as a paramount part of this great forum can't be underemphasized. I can imagine the quest @op, this can be felt or have been felt by so many if not every one.

However, if care is not taken merit quest can be a discouraging factor just as I experienced personally. Like others stated clearly, actively engaging here can open merit doors even as I am yet to massively experience, since you will not only have insight of good post as op, but informative responses also.

Here is my look on how to help newbies faster and adequately.
It is obvious that some newbies might not have got any BTC insight, while few may be new to the forum but not new to BTC and crypto generally.

Not to forget and worthy of note, alot of headings has been published here to help newbies concerning this forum and BTC generally. But one thing that happens if you notice is repeated quest, the same or similar queries by beginners about the forum and  BTC at large and most times without adequate assistance or attention.

Making it choking and it also some how chokes to peruse all the thousands of posts made here to get knowledge of the basics of this forum and primary knowledge of btc, this perusal might not be adequate, might also consume unnecessary time.

It becomes pertinent to some how provide beginners with direct to the point of obvious or probably basic knowledge of BTC and the forum at large. So as to guide newbies of primary or child board to visit, as BEGINNERS BOARD becomes Secondary for newbie help, at least the sharing of what has been learned from the primary and other secondary and tertiary knowledge of the forum and BTC to aid newbies. Since the child board will be primary learning guides or courses about the forum and btc as a newbie.

This will to an extent remove repeated questions by newbies as this courses will be designed by experts to handle probable doubts or questions by newbies. Not necessarily moving topics but creating detailed content that aids newbies concerning probable or simple and general information about the forum and common BTC terms.

To help beginners, most especially new to btc in the forum.
Things like BTC terms, merits and merits related, wallets and all the probable quest of newbies etc handled perspectively as queries relates to one another are well handled.
Newbies being directed to travel through this child board.

17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where best to enjoy this forum... on: May 28, 2024, 10:32:42 AM
I guess it will be easy to access through mobile phone, because very easy for me to bring out in my working place to know the new updates in the forum and still return back to work, and it will be difficult for the manager of the company to know what am doing at the moment.

I know that computer system is very easy to do so many things in the forum, but it will not be easy to be moving around all the time and many manager will not accept computer from their employees because it will distract them not to be focus on their job in the company, which it will be difficult for such person to have access to Bitcointlk.org to know get the forum update easily..

Even though I have the money to buy computer, it will be use at home for other things because I enjoy the forum through my mobile phone because very easy for me to bring out and make some comments and return back to other things.
Off course, personally and for mobility sake , phone goes but generally looking at the design of the forum irrespective of personal or mobility it is obvious the design of this forum is for PC. Even when reading with your phone you can see talk more of other things...
The point here is not that you can't use your phone but where best to enjoy this forum of which pc tops..

Good morning everyone

@Obulis, it will be more better if you reduce the rate at which you are spamming the thread, the forum is not some kind of social media platform . You should be compiling most of your posts to be in one page and that will  add more value to your post generally, you just have to take note of this and improve.

I had already dropped my report before the shout out to this tribe (I think 37 persons) ... May be I should have edited my page.. However if you say spamming it seems somehow. Spam means unwanted or undesired, I don't think it is bad to shout out to all of us here..

Not a kind of social media yes, but it has all the attributes of social media but one can't forget how organized this place is and the ultra reason behind this forum when compared.
I mean this pushup trip is one of the funs in this place, socializing all the minds here (37 persons and bitcointalk forum/BTF as I wish more members to join), also checking physical health...

20  Other / Off-topic / Re: JESUS CHRIST TURNED WATER INTO ALCOHOL. on: May 16, 2024, 07:37:04 PM
wine is not just fermented water

wine is grapes drenched and soaked in water and left to ferment.. (with added yeast)

all it reveals is they invented alcohol from someone putting fungus(yeast) into the water with the grapes and then later drinking it. and everyone was jolly

also alcohol existed 7000 years before 0AD. so "jesus" didnt invent it.

also it kinda hints to.. if jesus did exist he probably had an oral or genital yeast infection when he was stirring the grapes into water and adding his own biological excretions into the mix

Well you didn't really get my point, i don't mean alcohol invention..

I am just trying to bring to light the religious rejection  and misunderstanding of alcohol, how some or most Christians rejects it when christ Himself produced and gave it to people. If it was a sin, he wouldn't give to people.. .
So mentality shift of how alcohol is seen with religious google have to take place by that miracle.

So it make sense as popularly said drink but don't be drunk That is if you can and want to, not to see others who do as sinners or what's the view.

Man started eating fruits and other food item that form ethanol in our body... Sour food/grounded fruits items and other natural processes must have helped in the invention of alcohol as some will even eat or drink
Fermented item that is close to ethanol naturally...
Off course history has it of people who got drunk somany years before christ...
