1  Economy / Economics / Re: How does one know and join the right community after a job loss? on: March 30, 2024, 11:40:09 PM
Joining with good people is a good beginning, try linkedin. Just do self correction, improve your skill, and keep looking for new jobs. So something with what you have to generate small income, atleast for temporary jobs
2  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Play a browser game Earn Bitcoin/Etherum and MMOrpg stuff on: March 30, 2024, 11:22:30 PM
This is most probably the simplistic set up but we are hoping to make a community out of this.

This is something anyone can do but can they do it like us.

At the moment I am looking for tester to test the game out and see how fast it is to level and gain in-game coin and gold and lose it. I don't want it to be slow neither do I want it to be fast.

The idea of the game is to build your character up the longer you stay the better rewards but if you cash out you basically lose your items and some stat

I really want to test it, pls PM me URL maybe i can give other idea.

Some question about game it self, is this text basef games or using web game engine?

What is your business model, and is it related with blockchain ?
3  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who can you trust more to handle your business, man or woman? on: March 28, 2024, 04:02:40 PM
In terms of business matters and for managerial work, I actually prefer to choose on the individual's skills, not on gender. But I understand that in some places or countries, gender conditions can affect individual performance.

In my country I prefer men for work. Why not to choose a woman? If you choose a woman, there will be a decrease in performance when her emotional unstable, pregnant, high stress levels, sometimes the decisions made by women are influenced by those closest to them/their family.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you believe in savings or investment on: March 28, 2024, 01:22:12 PM
Saving will not increasing our wealth, in fact saving just decrease our value(money) because of inflation. Investment can increase our money but thats not guarantee, it depend on your investment, investment also can get lose.

What i think is split my fund into two fund, one for investment and other one for saving, I give 40% for investment and 60% for saving.

However in investment we should make good decission to avoid lose
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Monitoring sequence of btc transactions on: March 27, 2024, 05:25:24 PM
Me and my partner want to engage in a sequence of Bitcoin transactions. The first transaction involves me sending $400 in BTC, and the second transaction involves my partner sending me $900 in BTC. To establish trust, both of us are willing to deposit $900 in BTC into an account, which will be returned to us after the completion of the transactions.
How should we proceed? How do we find a trusted intermediary?

So far no way to do this, except using/paying reputable  escrow service
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blacklisting Wallet Addresses Across Various Bitcoin Wallet Types on: March 27, 2024, 05:18:48 PM
Just another options that no one agree, you can create your own wallet and install it in your own system/server.

Either you download blockchain, use external api or curl, and then save blacklist address to send. And ofcourse this is just optional, and it wont change work of blockchain it self
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blacklisting Wallet Addresses Across Various Bitcoin Wallet Types on: March 26, 2024, 03:30:57 PM
We can blacklist address only in centralized system of course this is not in accordance with bitcoin principles, where not everyone likes the work.

In decentralized world we cant do things like that, can not blacklist receiver/sender, find info about address owner, etc.

8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Upon the death of a bitcoin user. on: March 26, 2024, 02:49:04 PM
I have come to stay in this community and thought of one thing which has been bothering me.
Relating from our traditional banks where a bank customer dies and all his assets remains unclaimed by his relatives. I was once told that there was a bank manager who withdrew funds from there customer dormant accounts hopefully that the owners are dead as those account has been dormant for years without any form of activity on the account, it happens when no relative knows about the account for them to lay claims.
Similarly to bitcoin what happens in the event of my dismissal since no relative knows about my investment. It doesn't really make sense if my family can't enjoy my wealth. Will it be lost or is it good to entrust someone incase I'm no longer there?

I think most of people bit worry about this, so this is a common problems. If you are not really worry if someone know your investment and how to work with that, so you can inform everything, ofcourse "someone" in term of something related with your family and you want him to take.

If you re not doing this, so it will lost forever.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to earn money (cryptocurrency) in 2024? on: March 23, 2024, 10:50:15 PM

What I know the current hypes in 2024 are:
1. Testnet airdrop
2. Meme coins

What about NFT or ordinals? but I think it's really risky because it's non fungible and you can't make sure people will buy your token.
What about P2E games? I haven't hear it anymore.

Some testnets will require a costs to send transactions and pay fees. Only faucet which not require costs, but as you know faucet will only generate small bucks.

Meme coins

I never join the project because of project criteria.

Quote
What about NFT or ordinals?

Those NFT should have big community and can attract new user. NFT without big community can be no prospect, and no guarantee that NFT can be sold in the market.

Quote
What about P2E games?

It almost same with NFT. But P2E will need extra cost and extra time to do.

Which more profitble ?
Can not say more about this. The simple rule is, you define
Your own goal and if you think thats profitable you can do it, otherwise no.

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoin hype getting higher on: March 23, 2024, 06:53:40 AM
It's true that people always have interested in memecoin. I heard many strange memecoin names. i avoided those and was launching at corner. But it seems revolution happened in memeocin industry in the start of 2023. In that yeat, a lots of memecoin had come in crypto market and made people millionaire. Pepe, Bonk, Meme and so on. and in 2024 WIF and BOME again have created hype and made people millionaire again. Now memecoins are in demand due to the possibility of higher returns. And it makes people crazy. What's your opinion about this?

Now I have agree that many people interested with meme coin. But for me, I dont interested with any meme coin which dont have any feature or utility.

Many coin which have features and utility, and finally they can not survive.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bank - Safely store your bitcoin on: March 21, 2024, 11:57:29 AM
How do you secure coin and and your responsible to customer if hacker stole bitcoins?

Why we need coinbank while we can save everything in our own method? Just buy hardware wallet, send coin to HW, and keep your HW. As easy as that right?
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is It Time to Buy More BTC? on: March 21, 2024, 11:31:09 AM
It is always good time to buy BTC.   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Not as simple as you told, what if you buy at higher price and then price going lownfor several months/several years? Waiting price for going back? It easy if you spend small amount, let say below $50K. But what if you spend more than $200K
14  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is It Time to Buy More BTC? on: March 20, 2024, 06:56:09 PM
In my opinion you can buy at strong support level which mean in the lowest price which have many candle in that area. In this case we hope price will bounce up.  Whatever strategy you used, you should define risk management.

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Blackrock control BTC? on: March 18, 2024, 01:13:27 PM
If miner still want to mine bitcoin, I dont think they can control BTC. If the miner condition still like today posts, so they dont have a power to takeover network. But in the future, the possibilities always there.

If we talk about controlling price, they can do it. Or maybe they already made it, not using their company or affiliate company but using their agents
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Day i have lost my 100 bitcoins on: March 16, 2024, 05:35:22 PM
Hello Smiley

One day, a few years ago now, I had ~100 bitcoins on Old Usb Key.

I didn't remember having them, as I'd had them at the very beginning. This USB key was lying around in a drawer, as I imagine a lot of people have Smiley

I remembered that I had a Bitcoin wallet not long ago and I tried to find my USB key, without success.

This story makes me sad, because if I'd known, I'd have been more careful!

Moral: be careful with your stuff, even if it's old :p

If thats true you must be a trilonare right now. I also have same experience woth you. I store million of IOTA coin in laptop and sometime become a node. Also I have some POS Maternode coin in my laptop. Someday my laptop got heat and some part need to replace, but after replaced i got blue screen.

In that timeline MIOTA and my other coin still have low value, and the most problem is coin development seems struggle, and no progress. so I install my laptop to new system without backup it, because i dont think coins will grow in the future.
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the dip people!!! Could be last chance for prices this low on: March 16, 2024, 05:04:24 PM
You're correct, it appears this might be our last chance to purchase bitcoin at such a low price. We should seize this opportunity and prepare for a potential increase.

So what's target price to buy? And target price to Sell ? Or you only buy and hold?

However we can not against market, we only can do risk management.  When you told "seize opportunity and prepare for a potential increase" you should make a same term for loss.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you continue to trust Trust Wallet? on: March 15, 2024, 04:18:38 PM
Quote
Are you using TrustWallet? Will you continue to trust TrustWallet?

Yes I am using trust wallet, and will continue to use it if only I need it. I m not in full trust to "TrustWallet" because of close source, so genius people can not contribute or watch their code to find a logical problems. So far I only use trustwallet for transactions.

Quote
Are you using other crypto wallet apps?
Yes, I use it to store some assets. I never store asset in same wallet address, I split into several accounts.

Quote
Is a hardware wallet really necessary for your crypto investment?

In some cases we really need it.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Profiting from BTC: just luck? on: March 15, 2024, 03:41:53 PM

want to know your opinion on the success of BTC holders:

  • . Is the profit of BTC holders just from luck?
  • . Are you a BTC holder? What makes you keep believing and holding BTC?
  • .When will you hold BTC until?

Luck ? Haha, everyone have their own reason to say it "Luck" and everyone have their own luck. Let say I work for a private company who pay me for BTC. I accept that salary even BTC still has low value, and my job worth for $1500 in fiat. How about that? I can say, i got nothing from BTC in that timeline, I only got pain. I buy rig to mine, it costs me thosands dollar to get BTC.

In my opinion, LUCK is only for someone who do nothing but get amazing results.

I am a btc holder, and altcoin holder. I will hold until it give me minimum value of my passive income treshold.

I believe with community power, and peoples mindset grow everytime.
