1  Other / Politics & Society / Are children born out of wedlock is still a blessing from God? on: February 15, 2024, 04:41:15 AM
First and foremost i want to explain the meaning of "Children born out of Wedlock". It simply means a means a child born out of marriage.
So by this explanation it shows that 60% of us here were born out of wedlock. In most cases, those children are the ones that triggered their father to pay their mothers dowry. If not for them the man is not even ready to pay anything yet.
But in Africa we begin to view such children as illegitimate child. But the big question is that does God also view that child as illegitimate? I think the answer is no. Because if God sees that child as illegitimate then He will not bless that child. Then if so who are you to call a gift of God as illegitimate. They are denied access to their fathers wealth. But i bet you to do research very well you will see that most of our successful people in society are children born out of wedlock. I dont want to mention names but you that is reading this, are you not doing well for yourself? Abi Dem Born you for inside Marriage? What about those who waited to be married before they will start having kids and ends up not having one. It is only God who has program this life the way it is.
Africans should learn to accommodate every child who is their blood. Most married men are taking care of other people's kids as a result of their wife's infidelity. Is it not better to have my own child out of wedlock than to have another man's child in my house.
2  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Terrorism in Africa on: February 15, 2024, 04:08:55 AM
Terrorism in Africa has to be condemned by every organ of the government, religious leaders and even the masses. This shouldnt just be a verbal condemnation but it should encompasses strigent actions and penalty of death against perpetrators of such disastrous act. If we continue to keep quite without a definite action, we might become victims. Our relatives and love ones might fall prey to the hands of this evil men. Government at all level must show the political will to combat terrorrism. In Nigeria you will see a situation where military men will be overpowered by this terrorist with more sophisticated weapons. That shows that government who fails to equip the military has not shown the political will to fight the terrorist. Another factor that is causing terrorism to strive in Africa is religious factor. Some of this terrorist they came up with the notion that they are fighting for the emancipation of certain religion. Therefore those people who belongs to such religion does not see anything wrong with global terrorism, rather they see those terrorist as their heros. From the day religious leaders and the masses begin to denounce such notions of terrorist fighting for our religion then Africa will be a better place. Stop serving a God that you have to fight and kill innocent souls for Him to exist. Rather serve a God that will fight and kill your enemies for you to exist. Africa leaders should do everything to reduce the volume of poverty among their citizens. Because they say an idle mind is the devil workshop. A terrorist who has killed more than 100 innocent soul  then the government will organise amnesty for them and reintegrate them back to the society. But an armed robber who is caught will be sentenced to death. So these terrorist they belief that no matter what they do the government is still willing to incooperate them back into the society.
3  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Fight against corruption on: February 01, 2024, 09:25:06 AM
Corruption has eaten deep into our bones. Starting from the family, to the churches, Mosque and all government institutions.
I think the government should just create a Ministry of Corruption so that a lot of Nigerians can apply for a job there.
Starting from the families, most parents show love to only children who they can gain something from. If you have kids and your sister who is married to a rich husband  has kids, if both children visit their grand parents you noticed that your sister's children will be well treated than the other kids.
Comes to the churches am mosque, all the monies collected from the poor masses in the name offerings are used to open schools that the tithe and offering payers cannot attend. When someone use the name of God to extort money from you is the worst form of corruption.
All government institution in Nigeria are corrupt. Jujuciary,Robberslators, Executhieves are all corrupt.
Our higher institutions are not left out in this web of corruption. Our schools no longer teach character but teaches sorting as a legal means of passing exams. A girl who went to school as a virgin, but because she want to pass her courses by all means will now graduate as ogbongidi..
Where do we start from fighting this corruption? Is it from the government or from the family?
4  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Dont Buy a second hand phone from people you dont know on: February 01, 2024, 07:47:19 AM
Today i went to state CID to get a certificate of clearance from the police.
After my horrible and terrific experience with the police, then i realized that if the police really want to fight crimes in our society, they will do it without stress. On the day of our biometic a guy came there too for the same purpose. Infact the guy was in front of me.
The police man requested for the phone number of the guy. After inputing the phone number on their server they detected something strange. The guys phone number was showing red alert. The police man smiled and looked at the guy and asked him, how long have been using this phone number? The guy innocently answered "officer i don dey use this phone number for over 10yrs.
The police man asked him again the phone you are using how long have you been using it?
The guy at this point has not realised something is wrong, he said " officer i just bought this phone last.
Then the police man asked us to give him a minute. Behold when he returned he came with two heavily armed police officers. So they started to intorogate the guy if he has receipt for the phone. And if the guy can take them to the shop where he bought the phone. At that point it done to the guy that he has entered one chance. So the guy told them he bought the phone from someone. But he didnt know the person. So the police told him that the phone was reported to have been stolen and the owner came to report the matter at station with the phone serial number. That on putting his phone number on the biometric data base system it showed that his sim card is displaying on the serial number of that stolen phone.
Look at someone that innocently came to pick up certificate of no criminal record has find himself in hot soup for buying a phone from someone. The guy was thrown into the cell. What happened to him later i cant tell but what i saw thought me a great lesson.
Hence i decided to share this experience here so that others can also learn from it.
Buying second hand gadget from people is very risky o even with receipt because a lot of people can manufacture receipt if they want to sell a stolen product. So abeg try visit shops to buy your gadget.
5  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Corruption Legalized in every Ministry in Nigeria on: February 01, 2024, 07:10:44 AM
Greetings great family and happy New Month.

I want to share my personal experience with you guys on what happened to me at the Federal Ministry of Health yesterday.
I needed a vaccin for Yellow Fever, so i went to Federal Secretariat in Yenagoa.
When i got there i met two young men in the office. So i started to tell them my intention of visiting their office.
They asked me to go online then login to the yellow fever portal and make payment of 2k either remita or bank payment.
So quickly logged in to the portal which i read through the terms and condition of the process.
On the portal it is stated clearly that you have to make payment of 2k then print out your payment receipt and take it to any nearest vaccination point for your vaccin and the card. So i made payment through remita and printed out my receipt.
Only for me to submit my receipt and those guys told me that i will now pay 20k for the card that will be ready in the next 10 working days. But if i need the card today i should pay 25k. With the voice of frustration i didnt know when i exclaimed "Oh Nigeria our Beloved country is finished" I tried to tell this young men that look, ive gone through your portal and the only money they asked me to pay is 2k which i have presented my receipt to you. But they told me that has been their practice.
I tried to convince them how we the young generation need to act differently from our old politicians, but they never heed to my clarion call against unpatriotic and unlawful deduction of money from helpless poor masses.
At this point because i needed the vaccin urgently so i agreed to pay the 25k because it was obvious those guys are not ready to shift ground. But i wanted to an evidence of the illegal extortion so i requested that they should give me the account details of the Fed. Min of Health to make my payment. They refused to give me the account. Instead one of them gave me his personal account which i paid the money.
It was a frustrating experience. But then i was asking myself, who should i report this injustice to?
If you were in my shoes what would you have done?
6  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Why The Ban On Cryptocurrency in Nigeria by CBN? on: January 29, 2024, 09:48:21 AM
Why the ban on cryptocurrency by CBN of Nigeria when there are no adequate plans of means of livelihood for the youths?

It is obvious the government has hit their hand on their chest that Nigeria youths should suffer, while the political class keep st.ealing our money with impunity.

Oby Ezekwesili, former minister of education, also said the ban makes Nigeria appear unprepared for the digital future.
So as a nation if we are not prepared for a digital future how can we compete favourably with other growing economy in the worl.
Everyday our currency is dwindling down until maybe it will go into extinction.
Since we are not ready for a digital future as other countries are doing, maybe we should go back to Trade By Barter erra. Becsuse as it stance now, our currency is as weak like a long distance relationship without communications again.
The government needs to come with deliberate policies that digitalize our economy, in order to enable more youths to be involved in online trading. By so doing a lot of idle minds will go into work and that may gradually diminish crime rate.
7  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: The enemy of success on: January 28, 2024, 10:18:57 PM
One of the enemy of success is Fear.
Fear is the laboratory where failure, ignorance and self defeat is manufactured.
Fear is the direct opposit of bravery. If you are not brave you cannot succeed.
It takes a brave man to take some risky decision that could make or mare his chances of survival.
But fear can be attributed to the faint hearted and the chicken spirit.
Fear has caused many to loose their chances of making it big in life.
David in the Bible was a brave man that was why he could tear the mouth of a Lion. But if he was a fearful man, then the Lion would have chased him or tear him apart. I think as a man the only time fear should come into your dictionary is when you see another man's wife or your neighbour's my brother run for your life and you will be successful
8  Other / Politics & Society / RISK TAKERS ARE GREAT MAKERS on: January 28, 2024, 10:02:52 PM
Risk Takers Are Great Makers

Have you wondered why our great grandfathers build upstairs in the villages without working in the government?
Have you asked yourself how your great grandma could become the richest in her time without stepping her foot into the class room?
I think i have the answers here.
Now come lets digest this together. Do you know that our grandfathers before the advent of western education, they took great risk to climb the palm trees to cut down palm fruits without the fear of dangerous reptiles from biting or stinking them?
Our great grand mothers took the risk of entering a small wooden boat to enter into the high sea to catch the fish they sell everyday to make a living.
They adventure into risky businesses that didnt require them to donate any human blood for sacrifice. But rather sacrificed their own lives to earn us a good living. I can remember in 2012 when the great flood came. I followed my dad to go and pick the snails. Of course everywhere was flooded with water, but we saw a little hill and we could sight so many snails there. I was in front of the canoe. As we slowly approached the hill, omo come see big python on the hill. On sighting the python i jumped inside the water and was looking for safety. Before my dad will realize what was going on i dey house.
Then my dad told me, what you saw today is just a small thing compared to what we see everyday in the farm so that you can go to school.
Because our parents where risk takers thats why some of us are graduates.
What genuine risk are you taking today to better the lives of your kids and wards.
Some of us fear to do business because we are afraid of loss.
We see a business  link online that can change your lives for good e.g like this platform, then we begin to runaway saying na scam.
The truth about this life is that those who are not ready to take risk, are not also ready to make it in life.
Those our ancestors who stayed back home for the fear of Lion in the bush are the ones who do not have a piece of land to be inherited by their children.

Today i saw on the internet where Cameroonians are busy heaping insults on Nigerian president, due to their colossal 2 nill loss to the Super Eagles of Nigeria at the round of 16 on AFCON. At this point i shared tears when Cameroonians reminded us of how bad our economy has become. They make a chibe at us with Dollar exchange of 1 dollar = 1400 Naira.
Could this be a see finish? Or is football no longer a game of sportmanship?
Does it not bother us as a Nation nicked named "Giant of Africa" but yet smaller countries are taunting us due to the poor situation of things that is so visible to even the blind? Should we really blame those who are making fun of us because of our bad situations?
Should we attack them back verbally? When a respected man choose to misbehave in public, it is other peoples children that will openly insult him. A mad man or woman who walks naked does not have shame but the family members are the ones who bears the shame.
Thats what our politicians are. They dont have shame anymore, so whatever abuses that is rained on them or the country doesnt bother them. But we the ordinary citizens are the ones feeling the shame on their behalf.
I wish God can put back the spirit of shame on our leaders so that they can feel the shame of what people doing to us because we manage to win only 2 nill last night.
10  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: All professions are important on: January 27, 2024, 08:34:39 PM

Now and days alot of youth have the mindset that hand work are for the poor, which is wrong. Most even go further downgrading some professions. I will try and make this brief. For instance

•Yah really wealthy and there's is no carpenters, just tell me how yah home will be furnished.

•Imagine say you get funds and you wan build house or construct any business building. And no labourer (architectures) tell me how you wan con tey do am

•I save one of the best and most common for last farmers, just imagine all those farmers nor con dey tell me how you go tey feed Etc
Also same things also goes on with the other professions I didn't mentioned

Because now and days wetting most of our naija youth know nau yahoo Yahoo (fraud) most of them duh take am as hand work seff. Which is bad just imagine everybody focus on fraud and neglect the rest hand works and professions Omo life go hard the more ehhn even though funds dey wetting u wan con use am do.

So anything yah doing as long you know yah doing or learning the right thing always Try and do it well, because in the future you will then know the value of the foundations you lay now.

Yes you are right. It is that mindset that has rendered many youths jobless. Handwork is more profitable if you really want to be financially independent. School is good but it is better to study a vocational course that will teach you handwork. Going to school to learn only grammer no longer pays anyone. You must learn to unlock your creative ideas so that by the time you graduate you will have something to create wealth for you instead of waiting for a white colar job that is not available for the poor anymore.
11  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: What have I missed on: January 27, 2024, 08:16:04 PM
Yes i totally agree with you. It is better for us to mingle together by sharing knowledge based information and also engage in fruitful ventures.
Just like our politicians, no matter how divided they are in different political parties but when it comes to stealing our common wealth they are always united against us. Therefore i also  agree that we should not isolate ourselves here at least for the purpose of building one another.
