1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Question about futures on: February 28, 2024, 08:02:00 PM
Hey guys!
I have a question... do you think it's a good idea to invest BTC in futures now? With 3x leverage so as not to run as much liquidation risk?

Or do you think it's better to put my €100 in a wallet and wait?

Thank you for the help!

Ok, and then how do you get the money out of your wallet? Just click on the "send" option and enter my exchange address and then withdraw?

You asked how to buy and store Bitcoin, so I assume that you want to receive coins to your wallet, and not send them out of your wallet, right?

If you bought bitcoins in a centralized exchange (Coinbase, Binance, OKX,...) then you should have the option to withdraw coins from the exchange to your personal wallet. However, the withdrawal process may vary slightly depending on the specific exchange. I recommend checking the instructions directly on your chosen exchange's website for detailed guidance.

Yes, exactly, but in this case I was actually asking how in the future I could withdraw Bitcoins from Electrum

Good guys!
I'm new here on the forum and in the world of crypto...I have some doubts...I want to invest in bitcoin for the long term...maybe put in 100/200 euros every month and wait over the years for it to rise a little...but I don't know which wallet to use. I was going to use okx or binance but they told me in the bitcoin thread not to go to brokers because of hacks...so I don't really know. I have metamask but I already know it can't be used for bitcoin. I read about Electrum and installed it, but I don't really understand how I can put the money there... because you can't buy directly with euros/dollars. Can anyone give me some insight?
Thank you for your help!

In general, I would like someone to tell me a wallet to use that is safe and easy to use so I don't get so lost with so many that exist.

ps: By the way, in the case of using metamask or similar , can someone explain to me better how networks work? I've been trying to understand but I don't think it's quite what I think.

Boas pessoal!
Alguém aí me pode dar umas luzinhas?
Obrigado pela ajuda!

I don't think I'm going to save a lot of money...just some for a few months/years...do you think the Revolut wallet is ok? Or should I use metamask? (or another wallet?)
My problem with wallets is that I don't understand how they work because of the different networks... for example in metamask I have coins in optimism but I have eth in another network to be able to pay the fees... I don't really understand that

Hey guys!
I have a doubt, I've been using okx to invest in altcoin futures, but I'm going to give up on futures and just dedicate myself to the long term of bitcoin and maybe eth (if you have some more tips for me to know, I'd appreciate it) but that's not it the topic, I wanted to know if you think "okx" is safe for this purpose, or "Crypto" https://crypto.com/us/app (the advantage of this from what I understand is being able to pay directly with crypto, which would be useful instead of having to withdraw to the bank account) or "binance".... I don't know, if anyone can help me I would really appreciate it!

Well, my goal was to make some money with the futures, and then I could invest in Btc or Eth and wait

I asked out of curiosity, I have studied and analyzed graphs and done some experiments...some go well...others don't...but I have always gained more than I lost. My problem with investing in bitcoin and waiting is that I don't have enough capital to actually become profitable by waiting several years.
