And for 30 minutes, every visitor to the site moves the winners list down one position. A small battle of the contestants, which brings some interactivity and proves that we don't fake the results. you can log in from two different gadgets and check how the system works.
I'm unsure where I should view the list, is it the current lottery tickets tab? Or it is not yet live? How would you prevent people from spamming new website visits and how reliable is the UI? I'm discussing whether there is a lag between each visit and updating the winner. Not sure who would attack it as of now, but if the traffic increases wouldn't it be problematic if someone could DDOS your website easily? Correct me if I misunderstood something.
You can scroll at the bottom of the page and you will see a section called random winners. You can hover the list from either from left to right or right to left, to see all of them. There is also history winners which you can click on the bottom of them. These features are obviously already live because if not, we are not going to see them.

A website visit is a good thing to the website owners, so they won't ever prevent them except only if they are already a bot which aims to destroy the site but I am sure they already prepare a solution for it. The UI may not be reliable for now but there is always a room for improvement, if ever they are serious on this business.
you're absolutely right, I agree with this message, right on everything.

Based on OP's reply to my post, that list doesn't seem to be what I'm asking for. I'm referring to how the UI will show the visitors the winner of the current draw, which will change based on the algorithm that OP mentioned. That random winner list is just there for advertisement purposes, not necessarily showing the progress of the current lottery. You're right that the feature is already live though. We can see the "Current lottery tickets" tab which is in the middle of the website when you visit as of now.
Hello, I apologize for the long reply.
how can this list affect anonymity if you can make up any nickname that no one knows about?

I missed the draw so I can't comment on the lottery process, but it seems like you list the winners at the bottom of the page. Did anyone comment on it before? Personally like it if the winner's address is limited to the last three digits only, or just make it hidden for the visitors to avoid privacy issues. If you can hide the winnings amount that would be better, or allow the users to hide it.

DDOS protection is a good idea IMO. Even if it might help contribute to the randomness, I can see it stressing the server and reducing the experience for regular users.
Thank you for following our project, we try to get into the essence of each review. but I do not understand how we can hide the amount of the prize, because it is the main information of the drawing.

The drawing process takes place in the "Current lottery tickets" window at 17:30 GMT, where the visitor count and ranking will appear.
Each unique IP is taken into account. in case of DDOS attack, it will be difficult to substitute the result, as any other visitor will move the winner to the end of the list.
if users like this idea, we will work out protection against DDOS attacks

The lottery algorithm is as follows:
100% of the prize pool is distributed as follows:
- 1 jackpot - 50%
- 2 big wins - 10% each
- Doubling - number of tickets of doubling winners = ((number of tickets sold*10%)-3). 20% of the total prize pool is distributed among the doubling winners*.
- The service commission is 10%.
If less than 100 tickets are sold, the system may change the number of winners and the amount of the double draw, taking into account - the total number of tickets, the total prize pool and the minimum withdrawal amount in the TRC-20 network.

In order for your game to be a hit, you must market it thoroughly in order to gain a lot of players and raise the prize pool. If your prize threshold isn't met, you must also return the proceeds of the game and not push through with it since your players might not like playing into a prize pool that isn't what they asked for. Also, what edge does your lottery has against other competitors anyway? There are tons of these platforms around already and so far, none of them are bringing anything new to the table. Not being rude or a dick but people would rather play into government-run lotteries than online lotteries due to the difference in the possible jackpot prizes.
bitloto.org and state lotteries have different lottery logic. The odds of winning the Powerball and Mega Million jackpots are one in 292.2 million and one in 302.6 million, respectivel. at the same time, in https://bitloto.org/, users have a 10% chance to double their amount, and if they are lucky to take half of the prize pool or 10% of it. we distribute the total prize pool more among some users.

Our lottery is aimed at crypto users, especially during bear market, when the market is falling and the amount on accounts falls by several hundred dollars, you can risk 3$ and get back the lost funds.

We are thinking about how to make the lottery attractive for the users
Hard task for you to do if you ask me because basically your game is just a raffle, unlike real lottery where players buy numbers and may get huge win just with small bet.
Raffle is not popular in this crypto gambling industry, the most popular raffle can be in those casinos with different system where players can earn the ticket by wagering.
I'll be surprised if you can survive for long time with your current raffle game only, no offenses, just saying based on what I see in this industry.

Many people think casinos are too gambling and it is taboo for them to play in the Casino. While they can afford to play the lottery and do it with their families and even with their children.  Therefore, our main target audience is broader than the casino community. After the testing and innovations are completed, we will focus on this.
10  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitLoto.org - daily crypto lottery on: March 21, 2024, 01:06:00 PM

Also 5$ per ticket is too high for a lottery ticket. I’m not certain about how lottery ticket cost in different country but my country traditional lottery just cost 1$ per ticket while the prize is much higher than what you offered. I’m not sure how you draw the winner and how much number is in the draw to determine the winning chance rate.

Your opinion confirms the validity of my idea regarding the ticket price, because it seemed to me very high compared to lotto tickets in my country, which are less than one dollar. I first thought that the price of $5 might be normal in other countries, but you assured me that my conclusion was correct. Add to that the lack of clarity in the lotto system in place, and I do not expect the casino to enjoy a large turnout.
I can't find an explanation for this high ticket price other than that they are seeking to achieve the greatest amount of profit, even with a small number of users. Or they want to be treasury. Or the possibility that they want the treasurery to have a significant amount, even with a smaller number of users, in case someone wins.
we have assumed that the lottery is a daily, and for a larger jackpot amount and overall prize pool, should set the cost slightly above the average cost.
But I must admit that you are right. in the near future, along with the changes in the algorithm, we will reduce the ticket price as well. now we are thinking whether to set it to 3$, 2$ or 1$.
Our profit comes from the total amount of tickets sold, so the cost per ticket does not affect our profit. We are thinking about how to make the lottery attractive for the users

It's been 3 years since the last post. Which blockchain is better suited for gambling at the moment, in your opinion?
13  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitLoto.org - daily crypto lottery on: March 18, 2024, 02:54:29 PM
To make it really bulletproof would require quite lot of additional work on your side and maybe it's not even necessary (possibly you'll find enough users accepting the current state).
I was just expressing my personal opinion, wait for other people insights.

heres couple hints to consider:
every tiket has to have a blockchain record (transaction), no promo codes (or use them but claimed promocode has to create a blockchain record)
a public rule how the winning tickets are selected (this has to be public so anybody can use it to check any previous draws retrospectively)
use hash functions as a means of proving that you didn't rig the draw

Get inspired by how other casinos do this.
We'll gradually come to that
As for the promo codes, each promo code is secured with money from our side, added to the total prize pool.
I'm very glad for your attention, taking into account the opinion of the community we can make our project better.
Some things we can implement in a short time and some things will take time.
Thank you for your feedback

I'm not sure if I understand this correctly but I'm almost certain it won't be enough as the result would not be replicable (verifiable) by other users.

you will be able to access the site in real time, 10 minutes before the results are announced, from two different gadgets, and see how you move the list. this will be visible to every visitor.
The basic principle of this logic is that everyone can influence, but no one can control.

So the final stage of daily draw results in users keep visiting (reloading) the page trying to move in the list to winning position ... like some sort of reload brawl?
It's definitely interesting approach. I guess it contains some level of randomness and couple users might find it sufficient. But still it can be rigged by you (I say it again it's not replicable ) which makes it no go for me.
Let's just give it a try.

BTW can say I appreciate you are trying to improve as well... good approach, go on.

1. 1 IP - I visit.
2. How can I tweak this? If you can go to the site at any time and shift? Can you visit site from another gadget at any time and check that there has been a +1 shift?
Sure, one of the users can use VPN, but any other site visitor will shift his whole strategy and he has to start from the beginning, which minimizes the possibility of tweaking.
I think this is a better guarantee of fair play than pulling the right number ball out of the drum

we have started the realization of this initiative, and soon  restructure the logic of the drawing, and rondomizer will only randomly rank the lists of tickets, and each unique visitor to the site will move the list where the list of winners begins.
17  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitLoto.org - daily crypto lottery on: March 17, 2024, 09:50:05 AM
Some users asked about how the winning tickets are drawn but you didn't answer it. You just explained how the prize pool is distributed among the winners. It's interesting to know how you pick the winners and how fair the lottery is.
I also noticed that multi-accounting is forbidden according to your T&C and I don't understand why! If a user can buy as many tickets as he wants, why can't he do it using multiple accounts?
The winners are determined randomly by an algorithm set in the system. we do not choose the winners.
As for multi-account, we will definitely implement it in one of our updates.

Well, you want us to believe your words that there was an algorithm in place and the whole lottery system was not rigged  Huh
There should be a way to verify that how you selected the winner randomly else it will hard to believe that any real person got the reward.
I hope you know how the probably fair system works and it is verifiable too.

If people do not get these answers from your side, then the audience from bitcointalk may not participate in further lotteries at your site. For the reputation of your site, you need to be more transparent and honest too.
Our lottery claims to have a 10% commission, and it is much more profitable for us to earn 10% in the long term than 100% for a few days. Thank you for your feedback.
We will soon implement some guarantees that will convince you of our sincerity. it's about shifting the results by the number of visitors.
Would you as a user, if you were playing, perceive such a shift as a guarantee of fair play? If you could see how the shift number changes when you visit the site

Checked your site out and I felt it was alright though the language issues and no proper provably fair system are turn-offs. You guys really need to step up your game since there are far better alternatives out there.

For example, Metawin recently started advertising their services in this forum and their lotteries are far more addictive and reliable in comparison.
Thanks for the feedback, we launched less than a week ago and will take every member's opinion into account to get better in the long run. what language issues did you see?

People definitely want to know how your provable fairness is working on your lottery system. Because you are collecting money from lottery bettors. I guess, for multi-account, in this kind of set-up, it should be allowed as you are just buying tickets here. The more you buy, the better your chance in winning.

Also, it mentioned in their terms, that their terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Guatemala. Does it mean that you are applying for gambling license on this country?

Yes, you are right, the more tickets you buy, the better your odds, and those odds as a percentage are displayed on the top bar above the timer, and change in real time when you, or another person, buys a ticket, by the simple logic of (your tickets/total tickets)*100.
