Actually no. When using an "exchange" you are trading or exchanging one coin for another. They are at the same value at the time of purchase. DUH!! When swapping back it's the same idea. Having to be taxed on each exchange is really pointless. Now if you are purchasing coins for an ICO, for example, I can understand potentially recording the initial price and then the cash out value.

The article in Bloomberg and other media outlets stating this new U.S. tax bill changes like-kind trades and each trade is a taxable event, is probably fake news that will be retracted later. This was all being reported before anyone even knew what was in the bill. And most people still don't even know what's in the bill other than the big stuff like tax brackets and % for people and corporations. I think it's a political stunt and I have yet to see any links or images within these articles to prove any of it anyway. Until then I'll call it unsubstantiated and, therefore, fake news...

Ethereum has 92 million coins and growing. Waves is 100 million and not growing. So about the same. And about the whales... there are/were whales in Eth too and it managed to his $265. Like anything, the price will go up and down on it's way up and money will change hands. 

It's my opinion Waves will overtake Eth in the long term. Sasha hustles and doesn't look like he's going through puberty.

Eth is at $265? Don't be surprised if Waves is there in a year or two. $100 waves is really easy to see...

Will Bancor have a separate wallet for distribution? or will we need to provide an Eth address?

No. they are about to update mainnet which will get delegates forging. so it's just delegates who want to forge and earn rewards buying in.

I'm glad I held my Waves. Bought in during ICO and holding like a champ. If you don't think Waves isn't at least a billion dollar coin then you have mental problems. Just sayin'

Every time someone sells on an exchange, someone else is buying. People have this theory that there is no btc. If there aren't, then who are people selling to?   

There is plenty of btc out there to invest in Rise if investors want to. Rise is doing really well.

When everyone invests in a coin such as Waves then it sort of becomes saturated. With something like Rise, there is so much potential for growth. You'll probably see a much larger ROI in Rise than in Waves. But it also depends on what can be delivered. I've been following Rise since day one and was the first to sign up for the sig campaign. I see a huge future with these guys and I'm glad to be a part of it.

You've been spreading this lie for quite some time now. Not sure what your hang up is on the 25th. Looks like a Waves launch on Monday. Is your body ready?

Only people who seem to be having a problem with alty are those who lost money in cloak and blamed him. Like blaming sasha if Waves gets pumped or dumped.

Delay launch and it's ok but delay the ICO to get proper funding even after the community members had been asking for it is now not a good move. I think someone's playing favorites here.
