I just uploaded a map to Roblox. This is my first attempt. Very time consuming. I imagine I will get much faster in the future (even then it may be too much time but I can't determine that yet). I am a little concerned about what the game looks like when I play/view it versus when someone else views/plays it. Roblox has lots of models and parts one can import into their map and it is not clear which ones are free (e.g., I imported about 12 palm trees, about 8 destructible pine trees, and several zombies 1-2 very aggressive while others hardly move at all? Let me know if you see the trees and zombies. Also there should be a pistol in your starter pack (press 1 to activate pistol). I also built a boat which was very difficult to configure cause the vehicle seat is very tricky for a noob - map does not have much water for the boat but I can change that as I revise... Link: http://www.roblox.com/item.aspx?id=178842666It was always my intention to just get the ball rolling for others to create the maps. If that would happen SkullCoin could perpetually go on a long time and evolve along the way. Good work on the map. You can figure out how to set the coins yourself(more than one way to do things) or I can show you how i did it. I uncoplylock a map and you can look under the hood at the code snippets.

So will there be any further development from you regarding this coin or do you need help from others to get started?
Have you spoken with FoldingCoin? What do they say?
I will do whatever is possible and productive. I cant say if I will continue development on this coin or not but I like to keep my options open. If someone wants to take it over and they have a competent plan then I will help as much as possible in the transition. I think I know what FoldingCoin wants, but they need a dev to take over. If they feel they can bring new life to SkullCoin and they find a dev then they just need to leave a message here.

I'm open to the idea of transitioning a new dev to take over.
I would work on an android or ios app but the stores are strict and I would be banned messing around with btc/cryptocurrency(not worth the risk)(once your app is banned you lose all your users and it's hard to get them back). This is what would turn this project around and get the userbase that it needs to get off the ground in my opinion.
I left because it's a lot of work and the user base growth curve was dwindling and I have a cutoff point if a project is not showing enough growth. I would need some good ideas, additional devs and a winning revival plan to come back.
Hi SkullCoin, I have a question. If the app game used points instead of Skullcoins would that resolve the issue with the strict app stores? There are several off-app ways to link a users game name to a skull deposit address. So they can redeem their game points for skull. Also probably be a lot easier to program a game that uses points for accounting rather than actually holding and moving the Skull in the app. The new game SARUTOBI has me inspired(maybe there is a way to get a btc token game approved). I have some great ideas for a new game but its ambitious and many things need to come together before I can make it all come together. There are ways to setup an ingame coin and let users convert them to skullcoins. Im not a complete mastermind on how to make crypto work in game but the only way I can think(right now) that it will work without abuse is an award for the top 10 players and/or random payouts similar to SARUTOBI. My concern is bots but that problem is the least of worries. The game itself may never get completed. I will share my game ideas. It's similar to Subway surfers except you collect BTC and the puzzles are more extravagant (i cant give away anymore than that right now).

where is the dev?
The coin is prob not going to have any value so it makes sense to move on to another coin that has more potential(that's what i recommend). I'm working more in javascript, html5, java and nodejs. If I can come up with new game ideas I will be back to test them out, but for now it's time to move on to other projects.

disappeared from coinmarketcap?
They gave it a chance and no one traded it not even a tiny bit. Game development has also stopped for now(other project taking up my time).

Wow, the new map is ridiculously huge! We'll actually need to use the cars this time haha ya, it will be another human placed skullquest map excellent, those are nice and challenging. maybe dont release the clues at launch, if tokens arent found after some time then post clues looking forward to playing on the next treasure quest I wont be able to have it done by tomorrow. I want to try something different(different gameplay) but haven't figured out what that is yet.

Did you send out mining payouts? just curious. my balance is the same from the previous week. This is smobert in game. Looking forward to the next game and I hope you won't get discouraged by the turnouts but you're providing a lot of fun to those that show up each week. If you keep it up I think the snowball rolling down the hill is going to turn into an avalanche I wish I knew anything about coding so I could help you out a bit but I only know how to play games not make em My twitter handle is @coins4h2o and I'm always happy to retweet when you make announcements. see you on Saturday I hope. Thanks for the courteous words. I held back on payouts to see if anyone noticed. If I don't need to send them every week I would prefer to send them every two weeks because it's all manual calculations right now. I made a snapshot last Saturday of the F@H points, so I'm still keeping accurate accounting.

I have another game in the works. Last week was really fun, but we are all regulars, no new people are joining. No growth. CounterParty and assets are going to get really popular next year. It might be a good idea to stay on it. Plus, I found a way to bring down the transfer costs a bit. If we switch to Dogeparty now we will lose our exchange. I'm looking for a way to have the best of both worlds(CP and DP). Maybe a new Dogeparty token that is interchangeable with CP SKUL one time and then the CP SKUL is destroyed. Essentially you can convert your CP coins to DP coins and the CP coins will be destroyed keeping the amount of SKUL in circulation unchanged. Once they are converted you are free to exchange them back to CP coins anytime you can find a buyer/seller. This kind of integration is time consuming and we aren't getting the participation that makes me want to spend too much time on the coin, but I will do what's possible. Alright, thanks for the reply! I will be spreading the news to friends on my end (hopefully we can get more people playing). Update: Followed your tutorial for unspent outputs and claimed back about 5 cents worth of btc - it seems to work. I got back ~$10 on 360 transactions. 360 x 13cents each in btc fees = $46 (almost ~25% reduction in fees) credit to dexX7 for the tut http://imgur.com/a/YWKaV

Skull, will we have another Roblox treasure hunt sometime? Also, any info on the switch to dogeparty? I have another game in the works. I'm trying to "Decode Raw Transaction" for address 1FFGwHsQsqTKjLfz3Tx4nf7gv1MDTq1BT (358 unspent outputs found.) But I get.. "Parse: String index out of range: 80005" on " https://blockchain.info/decode-tx" When I try and Sign with Counterwallet i get "Invalid hex string" The wall of hex code is long, I wonder if there are limits in length. I'm using this tutorial http://imgur.com/a/YWKaVupdate: got it working with the max confirms limit settings.

I will check this out(PM) thx.
I didn't want a check button because I was thinking it makes it too easy.
I'm still morphing the game. I just came up with the idea last night.
The idea is to sell the "Bitcoin Puzzle Game Cards" for SKULLCOIN. Like a raffle. 100 forsale @ $10(in SKUL) each. One of them has ~$100-$250 in BTC on it(specifics not figured out yet). 2nd, third, & 4th winnings, but all of them have at-least a small amount on them.
The idea is still mending. Only selling for SkullCoin so it can be used to buy games and a chance to win a large amount relative to initial investment.

Cool I like that!
Solving the puzzle may require the same amount of effort as a brute force hack of the private key so it evens out.
Its a possibility . You can also patch their code by replacing the HashWord function with SHA256 provided by Crypto-JS. There would be no hash collisions then. Just to give an idea on the difficulty, it took about <10 seconds to solve all addresses via a Java program running on a CPU. Edit: I bruteforced all possible hash collisions with hash 35431 over characters 48-123 (0-9, alphabet, + some extra) and none of them appear to be valid private keys. Are you sure its updated? Let me test it again. I had some trouble with removing auto capitals and lowercase in css and javascript, but i think i got it fixed. Yes it works for me here..http://168.63.100.104/bitcoinkey/decryptkey.htmlMaybe you forgot that it was a mini key? Make sure you are using the updated link .. https://993ecfe0a9cc8c3f00250d3732a2de41969bac4e.googledrive.com/host/0B9INI0mpJgeTQ3JaSl9tbVg1Z0U/-PMed you-

The key is wrong i will fix it later- Crack the code and find the bitcoin mini private key to sweep the money into your account. (Beta) ... Please provide feedback after trying out the game(directly or publicly).

It needs a better hash function I think... Cool I like that! Solving the puzzle may require the same amount of effort as a brute force hack of the private key so it evens out. Update: The private key should work now. I added 5,000 SKUL to it for testing.
