On the SmartArena platform, you can organize battles between players. Each participant places a certain amount of crypto (TON or USDT) into the room's bank (in the smart contract). Rooms can accommodate from 2 to 10 players, and each player has an equal chance of winning - 50%! When the maximum number of participants (from 2 to 10) enters the room, the smart contract will choose the winner and transfer the winnings (the room's bank) to their wallet!

I have several questions.
1.What battles are you talking about? The smart contract simply chooses the winner among 10 people. Isn't this basically a lottery?
I don't see any real game here. It's just a lottery.
2.You say that the chance of winning is 50%. How can the chance be 50%, since only one player in a room of 10 can win? Am I missing something?
3.Can't this system be manipulated by someone, who creates a room for 10 players, creates several accounts(via different IPs) and uses several crypto wallets to join the same room and increase his own chance of winning?
4.How many active players does your platform have right now? What if the room doesn't gather enough players? Will the crypto be refunded to the guy, who created the room?

1. Yes, that's correct. As soon as the maximum number of players (from 2 to 10) join the room, the smart contract will select a winner and send the room's pot to their wallet. This is more of a raffle among players, where fairness is ensured by the smart contract. Unlike lotteries, which are usually centralized and whose fairness and RNG (Random Number Generator) cannot be verified, our platform is built on blockchain technology, which is based on transparency and openness.

2. We claim that all players have equal chances of winning since all players place the same bets. In a battle between two players, each has a 50% chance of winning.

3. Yes, this is possible and not prohibited, as it is almost impossible to control. Users themselves decide which room to join. Play one-on-one and you will have equal chances, or choose the "private battle" option when creating it. The battle will be displayed on the site in the general list and will be accessible only via a unique link, allowing you to play only with those you trust (for example, with your group of friends).

4. Of course, the battle can be canceled at any time, and the smart contract will return the cryptocurrency to the room's creator. We have very few active players since we recently launched. Our team is very small; we are crypto enthusiasts aiming to create a fair and transparent raffle system and gradually earn users' trust over time.

You probably need to update the OP as it still states that rooms can have up to 15 players not 10.

I also read on the ReadMe page that you (the contract owner) have the right to change the commission. My information are limited when it comes to smart contracts, so I wanted to know if this means you can increase/decrease the commission after a room's been created and before the winner is announced?

Yes, the owner of the smart contract can change the commission at any time. The contract is designed in such a way that this change will affect the subsequent calculation of the commission, even if the room was created earlier. However, this is only in theory. In practice, any change in the commission occurs when the site is closed for maintenance and there are no bets in the rooms. Information on the current commission is always indicated on our website.

Also, one poster is correct: make a good ANN thread. If you don't have the designing skills, you can hire people, as there are a lot who can do that in the forum for a fair price. Additionally, video marketing and a demo about the game you are presenting would help potential users easily understand it. So, I guess you should also consider making one if you want this project to grow in this competitive market.

Video recordings of the games are available on our Telegram channel: https://t.me/smartarena

Welcome to the forum guys, being someone who started using Ton blockchain quite early, I am happy to see more and more projects being introduced and built on the Ton network, alot of casinos are currently building on Ton, many of them I played on, but I guess this is the very first decentralized casino built on Ton blockchain that I am coming across.

And visiting the site, it's not beautiful to be honest, I am not a lover of black color, but some how, I love the simplicity of the website, there are no complicated or unnecessary features, everything looks simple and straightforward to the point.
I definitely will try this game some time in the near future, and till then, wishing you guys great success, and hope you guys will consider buying some user's signature ad spaces to promote this casino to the entire forum users and visitors.

Thank you for your feedback.

Hello, friends! Do you know what crypto battles are? It's like competitions, but in the world of cryptocurrency and completely decentralized! To participate, all you need is a crypto wallet (for example, TON Keeper, Trust Wallet or another one)

You can create your own rooms for battles or join existing ones created by other players. When creating a room, you can name it whatever you like, and no one except you can cancel the battle you created! Also, battle rooms can be private if you only want to compete with friends one-on-one or with your team of 2 to 10 people. The main thing is to participate and win!

✔️ WHY IS THIS TRULY FAIR?
TON battles use the TON RNG random number generator, while USDT battles utilize the external data oracle CHAINLINK VRF. These technologies ensure fairness and randomness of results through blockchain and cryptography! 🚀

✔️ WHY IS THIS TRULY TRANSPARENT?
All crypto wallets, bets, and winnings are recorded on the blockchain, and everyone can verify their authenticity!

✔️ WHY IS THIS TRULY SAFE?
All rules are regulated by a smart contract with open-source code, ensuring that the winnings will only be transferred to the winner automatically!

With the SmartArena platform, it's now very easy to compete with a friend for 5 TON / $10 (or more). Simply create a room, invite your friend, and start the game!

We have decided to disable the jackpot mode "Arena" and leave only "Crypto Battles" with uniform stakes, as we believe this direction to be the most interesting and promising. Also, now when creating a game room, you can specify its name or the name of your team, which makes the game more engaging.
Additionally, in the BSC smart contract, we have moved from pseudorandom number generation to Chainlink VRF because:

Increased Security: Chainlink VRF provides provably fair and verifiable randomness, significantly enhancing the integrity and trustworthiness of the game outcomes.
Transparency: The use of Chainlink VRF allows for transparent verification of randomness in the blockchain, enabling players and auditors to independently verify the fairness of the game.
Reduced Manipulation Risk: By leveraging decentralized oracles for randomness, the risk of manipulation by players, developers, or miners is greatly reduced, ensuring a level playing field for all participants.
Enhanced User Experience: Trust in the fairness and security of the game mechanics can lead to a more positive and engaging user experience, attracting a broader audience to the platform.
Future-proofing: Integrating Chainlink VRF prepares the platform for future developments in blockchain gaming, ensuring it remains at the forefront of technological advancements in secure and fair gaming practices.

We cannot restrict withdrawals or bets because our platform interacts with players' cryptocurrency wallets, and only players decide what bets they want to make. Withdrawals are automatically processed by the smart contract to the winner's address. All rules are governed by the smart contract, as I have already mentioned! We earn commissions, which are only charged on the winner's winnings, as stated on our website.
Understandably, some people are skeptical about your smart contracts, considering how many fraudulent platforms out there that left malicious code on their smart contracts to abuse user's funds or steal them. Even if you say that you don't control anything, some code might get exploited or abused by other parties to hijack transactions or other attacks. Making the code public and verifiable is the way forward if you plan to make it as decentralized as it needs to be.

Thank you for the feedback, but how do you imagine what kind of graphics is needed just to display a transfer from a player's cryptocurrency wallet on the website? We don't provide entertaining gameplay; we only offer a tool for interacting with the blockchain.
Not sure what others' taste is, but the dark mode seems quite okay in my opinion, as barebone as it is. It looks very simple, which is fine for my taste but certainly won't attract new users if you rely on it alone. The day/bright mode on the other hand feels terrible to navigate. The border between each tab (Battle/Aarna) is unclear and there's no way to tell where I'm at unless I look at the address bar, or be familiar with each tab beforehand.

We will think about the design in the future, but for now we decided to keep only the dark theme.

Hi there SmartArena, good to see you here. I am a big proponent of decentralized platforms that are secured by smart contracts, so i am really happy to see products like yours popping up. I am interested in why did you choose TON and BSC to deploy your products there?
I think it is an interesting choice, TON has been getting some hype lately, but i do not know many people doing anything on that chain
Cheers!

Thank you for your feedback!
The choice of the TON and BSC blockchains for smart contract implementation is driven by several advantages they offer:

1.    Efficiency: Both TON and BSC blockchains are known for their high throughput and low transaction fees. This ensures fast and cost-effective transaction processing for users of smart contracts.
2.    Flexibility: Both blockchains provide flexible capabilities for creating and executing smart contracts, allowing developers to implement various functional features and contract designs.
3.    Community Development: As part of active cryptocurrency communities, TON and BSC are supported by a wide audience of developers and users. This contributes to rapid development of tools and solutions related to smart contracts.
4.    Scalability: Both blockchains have scalable architectures, enabling them to process large volumes of transactions without sacrificing performance. This is crucial for smart contracts that may serve many users and operations simultaneously.
5.    Rich Functionality: Each blockchain offers diverse tools and features for working with smart contracts, such as different token types, voting mechanisms, and decentralized applications (dApps).

Recently, TON has experienced significant development, and its user-friendly nature is truly appealing. Low fees and prospects for mass adoption in the coming years make it a promising option for smart contract operations.
Regarding the choice of BSC, we needed a stablecoin that users are accustomed to and find convenient. Fast transaction processing and low gas fees make BSC an attractive choice for our platform.

So, the round result is based on the current block, and if I'm not wrong that information is accessible to anyone, I'm not an expert on the topic, but you should have a server seed generated by the site on a random way, and not based on public information.
How would the public know the RNG is not rigged if that was the case tho? If I understand it correctly, Keccak is quite popular for RNG in Solidity[1]. It is not like a user can predict the block difficulty and timestamp as they wish, and even if they somehow know it, there is still RNG at play. At the very least, knowing these three factors doesn't necessarily mean you can predict which numbers will be chosen by the smart contract. At least that's how I understand it from the code you shared, do correct me if I'm wrong.

[1] https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/random-number-generator-in-solidity-using-keccak256/

You understood correctly, predicting the outcome of the random number generator is practically impossible. Moreover, it loses all meaning if you are playing in a private room with your friends and the winner will definitely be someone from your company.

welcome to the forum, the designer of your casino is not good, it looks like the designers of casinos from over 5 years ago, in your casino there is no TOS, this means that people don't know what rules you have in your casino , for example in cases of many accounts, people don't know if they can use many things in your casino or if it is prohibited, use or not use of VPN, list of prohibited countries and list of allowed countries, minimum deposit amount and minimum withdrawal amount, license. From what I could see, your casino does not have a license, nor does it have any link to a reputable auditing company that proves that your smart contract was audited by such a trustworthy company, this shows that your smart contract was not audited by any trustworthy company

Another very important point is that your casino doesn't say anything about kyc, as there is no option to create an account, so they don't ask for kyc. This would be good if it were 3 years ago, but currently governments have tightened the laws on money laundering and terrorist financing and your website could eventually also be the target of seizure by governments, and the crimes that governments will accuse you of These will be the crimes of money laundering and operating a casino without a license, the prison sentence is very high, even beyond 20 years in prison and you will also be sentenced to pay a large fine, in my opinion it is not worth disrespecting government laws. so anyone who uses your casino should be aware of this

As annoying and uncomfortable as it has been to do kyc in casinos, it is still much better for people to follow and comply with the laws, these laws will not disappear and the sooner people accept this reality and comply, the better it will be. Lastly, I confess that I didn't understand anything about the objective of your casino, I didn't see any game in it, I'm just assuming that it works like this: two people want to bet between themselves on the outcome of today's game between Barcelona and Napoli, for example. . one person deposits $100 on your website and says that Barcelona will win and the other also deposits $100 on your website and says that Napoli will win and the winner takes $200. If this is how your website works, then I have two questions:

1 - how does your website make money?
2 - how will your website quickly check which of the two people got the right bet?

You completely misunderstood our product before asking questions. We have no affiliation with casinos! We don't have registration or KYC requirements at all; we have an open WEB3 platform based on blockchain! We have no limitations whatsoever.

Welcome to bitcointalk platform. It is nice seeing you here. I had to peruse your website to see for myself  what you have to offer other than depending on what you have here and I see no there is a big if difference in both graphics of your product. To be frank, I think you will have to give a good finishing touch on your website as the graphics is poorly designed and there is nothing enticing about your website and games there.

As you can see here your announcement thread is a bit scanty  as there are no engagements which is not a good one to start with. It is normal that games attract people to it but looking at this thread, it is obvious that more work needs to be done immediately to salvage this situation.h

Thank you for the feedback, but how do you imagine what kind of graphics is needed just to display a transfer from a player's cryptocurrency wallet on the website? We don't provide entertaining gameplay; we only offer a tool for interacting with the blockchain. Perhaps we'll add some bright colors to the website later, but I don't think it's urgently necessary. There's still a lot of more important work ahead.

whereas all our games are regulated by open-source smart contracts on a decentralized blockchain. We offer a completely new approach to gaming, with our principles being transparency and fairness!
What sorts of gaming we are thinking here? I get all these and everything that was written so far. Question is what are the markets to place the bets, what sorts of games we are going to play?

Quote
Yes, our website lacks flashy design and animation, but this is our advantage, not a drawback. We aim to make the platform as convenient and lightweight as possible; graphics and animation are unnecessary as players come to participate in games and receive results!
At least try to give a modern look instead of a website from 90s :-D

Our main goal is to create a platform for conducting crypto battles between real users! So that you and your friend can place a bet (for example, 100 USDT or 500 TON) and the smart contract will select the winner from you and transfer the winnings to their wallet! We also have another game - Arena, you can read its rules on the website. Perhaps in the future, we will consider some light design, but these will not be games like in a regular casino, we don't need that, we just want to provide a platform for battles for those who want it!
9  Economy / Gambling / Re: SmartArena.online - web3 platform for cash battles via smart contracts! on: March 09, 2024, 08:19:08 PM
actually this must be in altcoin section since this is not about betting or depositing in bitcoin so maybe OP needs to transfer this into another section , though I doubt that OP will update this thread again like what other newbie account that just posting their ANN and not coming back .
anyway all your advise must be considered and followed by OP if he really wanted to have better engagement here in forum.

Thank you for your recommendations! However, I think I'll still leave the topic in this section, as it's the most appropriate for it. Our platform is more related to betting and gambling than just discussing altcoins!

Fairness - The smart contract guarantees that the outcome of each round will be random and fair!

How? Can you explain step by step how the smart contract validates each round?

I don't see a client seed, and the problem about that is the house can predict the next bet outcome, but i haven't seen the smart contract yet, so, please explain to us how it works. And i feel like you should have this explanation in the site because just saying "The smart contract guarantees..." doesn't make it provably fair.

In our case, all bets are transparent and recorded on the blockchain, and everyone can verify this! All games are regulated by open-source smart contracts!
Link to the repository: https://github.com/smart-arena-online/smartarena

The process involves generating a random ticket number within the range of total tickets sold, and then selecting the player whose ticket range includes the winning ticket number. This ensures that the selection process is random and fair, as it is based on chance rather than any predetermined factors.

The use of cryptographic functions and the blockchain's properties ensures that the selection process cannot be tampered with or predicted in advance. Therefore, it maintains the integrity and transparency of the game, providing all participants with an equal chance of winning.

For TON smart contracts, the logic for selecting a winner is as follows:

    Creating a game room (CreateRoom):
A user creates a room with a specified number of seats, minimum bet, and privacy level.
Each player is assigned a ticket range corresponding to their bet amount.

    Joining a room (JoinRoom):
A user joins a room, meeting the requirements of the minimum bet and available seats.
The room starts filling up with players.

    Starting the game (startGame):
When the room is full, the game begins.
A random number (winning ticket) is generated within the total number of tickets purchased by players.
The contract iterates through the list of players and determines whose ticket range includes the generated winning number.

    Selecting the winner (Winner selection):
The player whose ticket range includes the winning number is declared the winner.
The prize is sent to the winner according to the game rules and commission percentage.

Regarding randomness:

The random number is generated using cryptographically secure functions, making it practically impossible to predict.
The ticket range for each player is calculated based on their bet and the current state of the room, making it impossible to predict game outcomes even with active participation from all players.
Thus, the game outcome is entirely random and independent of external factors or participant actions, ensuring fairness and reliability in the gaming process.

For BSC smart contracts, the logic for selecting a winner is as follows:

In arenas and battles based on smart contracts, the winner is chosen randomly. This is achieved by using pseudo-random numbers in the process of determining the winner, which are generated based on a set of input data, including, for example, the blockchain hash of the last block, participants' addresses, and the time of their participation.

Since the blockchain is a decentralized and immutable ledger, the data used to generate pseudo-random numbers cannot be tampered with or altered. This ensures transparency and reliability in the winner selection process.

Moreover, smart contracts execute automatically and without the involvement of third parties, eliminating the possibility of manipulating results or tampering with data. All of this creates an indisputable and objective method for determining the winner, where it is impossible to know in advance who will win, as the result depends solely on randomness and is not accessible for prediction or intervention.

All I can see here is a bootleg version of Rollbit PVP Duel Arena games. This casino doesn’t offer any entertaining animation on every battle and just plain smart contract to determined the winner. The idea is good due to the use of smart contract for transparency of the game but I’m doubtful on how players will enjoy this kind of game that offers just a plain text game.

The website seems like not fully finished since there’s still some error on display when browsing the casino.

anyway all your advise must be considered and followed by OP if he really wanted to have better engagement here in forum.

Your suggestion is correct to move this thread on altcoin board but I doubt doing that will receive better engagement since that board is full of bullcrap bounties.

I apologize, but I would like to clarify that we are not a casino; we have a completely different approach. Casinos have a centralized management structure, whereas all our games are regulated by open-source smart contracts on a decentralized blockchain. We offer a completely new approach to gaming, with our principles being transparency and fairness! Yes, our website lacks flashy design and animation, but this is our advantage, not a drawback. We aim to make the platform as convenient and lightweight as possible; graphics and animation are unnecessary as players come to participate in games and receive results! Furthermore, we offer an exclusive product - battles! You can transparently create a room for a battle with your friends and play, for example, for $100 among five people. Why would you need design for this? Smart contracts will guarantee the fairness of this draw! Playing for money on our platform is very simple, like never before!
