They are definitely trying to scam you and avoid paying you out.

He has a partnership with Stake.com and I assume the majority of losing bets are bankrolled/credited by Stake in exchange for free marketing.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Gambling winnings should NOT be taxed on: June 18, 2024, 06:42:47 AM
In my country (Australia) ALL gambling winnings and profits are 100% tax free.

You don't have to declare it because it is considered a hobby.

In the USA and other countries gambling winnings are treated the same as income and gambling companies are required by law to withhold federal income taxes.

If I had to pay taxes I would quit gambling. The risk wouldn't be worth it.

Does your country tax gambling winnings and if so do you declare it yourself or does the gambling operator withhold the taxes on your behalf?

4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What if you have a casino? on: June 17, 2024, 03:39:55 PM
If I had my own casino, I would make sure I enforce responsible gambling.

You can still make a profit without causing your customers to lose all their life savings.

In my country (Australia) the government has been forcing all gambling operators to make sure their customers are gambling responsibly otherwise they could face fines or even lose their license completely.

The volatility of digital currencies scares a lot of people so it depends on how bullish you are and if you truly believe in crypto.

8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often do you receive bonus bets/free spins? on: June 13, 2024, 05:00:02 PM
One more question, is the free bets you get come without wagering requirement?

The only requirement is that you must wager the bonus at least once. You can't just get the bonus and withdraw it. When I'm using my own money, I only do safe bets but when I get the free bets I tend to take more risks.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Are cold wallets safer than online exchanges? on: June 13, 2024, 04:52:23 PM
If you had a large amount of cryptocurrency would you prefer to keep it on an offline cold wallet or an online cryptocurrency exchange?

Both have pros and cons.

I'm interested to hear the thoughts of others.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: How is the cost of living in your country? on: June 13, 2024, 02:55:45 PM
In my country the cost of petrol is around $0.8 per litre.

Yeah, overall the cost of living in my country also rise, even my country state the inflation rate is 4%, but the reality I see it's more than 4%, I feel it's probably around 8%-10%.

I'm quite following Australian news, they said that there are too many immigrants especially from Asian countries applying for Work Holiday Visa to work in Australia. Definitely it's really promising since they get paid for 10x-20x higher than in their country.

I agree wholeheartedly with your first point. The official inflation rate in 2023 was 4.1% however basic goods and services increased by 10-15%.

The minimum wage in Australia is around $23-$24 AUD which is very good but rent, groceries, travel expenses etc are ridiculously high and seem to be increasing all the time.

Hi Guys,

I'm just wondering how often you receive bonus bets from your sportsbook/casino?

I have gambled with almost every gambling company in Australia and I find the majority do not provide bonuses regardless of how much you turnover.

Being an Aussie, I do the vast majority of my gambling with sportsbet.com which is a non-crypto sportsbook only available to Australians.

If I had my own sportsbook/casino I would be giving the maximum amount of bonuses to reward customers but the majority do not do this.

Here is an example from seven weeks ago of a $150 bonus I received which I was lucky enough to turn into $6600.

I advise you all to shop around for other sportsbooks/casinos that offer you bonuses because they make huge differences to your profits and betting strategies.
12  Economy / Economics / How is the cost of living in your country? on: June 13, 2024, 02:25:25 PM
Hi Guys,

I'm curious to know if there is a cost of living crisis in your country and if you are feeling the effects of rising goods and services.

I'm Australian, and the inflation rate in 2023 was over 4%.

I have noticed significant increases for everyday essentials like food, petrol and utilities.

The cost of petrol is around $2.10AUD per litre, which is insane.

Let's hope things improve in the near future because the current state of things is unsustainable.
