Don't gamble unless you know you are going to win:

1. Insider information
2. Use software to check odds
3. Read the papers/media (if you are into Sports Betting)
4. Don't bet more than you can lose unless you find an arbitrage opportunity.

2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you prepared for the $5 wrench attack ? (1000 ETH stolen) on: June 21, 2024, 09:34:37 AM
Wrench attacks happen all the time.

Usually it is for money, jewelry, credit card pins your car...

I think the difference with BTC is that it is quite possible for someone to have quite a large stash on board...

At the moment, there is arguably a 0.002% bitcoin adoption so it has a long way to go.

People today are "still" earlyish adopters - which is crazy in my opinion.
4  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Kineko scams 250 000$ (breaches withdrawal agreement twice) on: June 21, 2024, 09:02:28 AM
We been playing on Kineko.com too.

We noticed their odds were out quite badly at some point and it was a license to print money. Anyone who is a sports punter with half decent aggregation software would have picked this up.

I have never had an issue with them, but then we have never tried to rape the casino. Just take small bits here and there and profit. You know the saying - don't rape the golden goose!

I would feel bad for them if too many people took advantage of this though - what a way to kill a business!
