Is it only me or, there is a problem with the withdraw confirmation email ?
no email received today.

I think there may be a problem with their automated email. I'm trying to log in to my account and I'm being prompted to whitelist my IP, but am not receiving email with link to whitelist.

Damn, Dean, you were always kind of cool back in the day. I still remember when I found your site back in 2012-13. But I watched as your greed took over when you had an opportunity to legitimately enter the dice market, and it has been a further downward spiral morally ever since. Wish I could say I was surprised.  Sad

And here's the problem with this forum, read a thread title from an idiot and believe it as fact.

Also what do you mean a chance to enter the dice market? I ran the most popular and most profitable dice site for 2 years straight and that's an easily verifiable fact.

Lol @ you if you think I'd base my opinion of you on a random forum thread, and not from (many) personal interactions and observations. I'm not here to say whether you are or not a scammer, because it doesn't affect me either way. I chose to stop doing any kind of business with you years ago. But I do remember when we first met and how chill you were. Bitcoin wasn't nearly as blown up as it is now, and neither was your ego. Obviously, all things change with time.

What do I mean by a chance to enter the dice market, really? I was with you when you were still struggling to build your site off the back of poker (and dogecoin lol) and the only reason you even made the jump exclusively to dice was because a certain site exited the market, leaving a large void, which you saw as a chance to use to line your pockets. I never blamed you for being an opportunist, which you admitted to in PRC chat many times.

Sorry you are feeling so insecure these days as to take my initial comments as such a personal attack, but there is no denying you have made a turn (for the worse) over the past seven to eight years. Regardless, I still wish you well in your life and hope you can figure out something that will make you happy.

The site is undergoing a brief maintenance. As always, all player funds are safe, and we expect full functionality to return shortly. Thank you for your patience.

Brief maintenance? 3 hours in the middle of the day, right when US major markets are kicking off, is not only not brief, it's the worst time to do maintenance. Not to mention it's the second time in 24 hours. Also, even if you do need to do maintenance, you owe your players some notice ahead of time.

I know this post is just a placeholder to 'save face', but you can't just come into a forum, three hours after the fact, and make a post like this and not expect to get called out. Please get your shit together.

your website down again and again, fix it Huh

Any ideas why the website was down? Obviously, it is disrupting people. Though it seems that this was not a scheduled update or something as I assume if that was to be the case then they'd inform us but as of yet strangely enough no updates of any kind have been made  Huh
I don't know . I got problem yesterday, same this period time, and today it happen again, so bad feeling, I lost money because I can't access site to bet opposite my bet Angry

Same here, right in the middle of tracking some tennis and Euro basketball. Yesterday the downtime lasted several hours, let's hope it's resolved more quickly today.
Do you know correct how many hours ?

Yesterday it lasted for about 3 hours and came back up shortly after 7PM EST.

8  Economy / Gambling / Re: SwC Poker ♣️ BITCOIN POKER 3.0 ♣️ BBJ🌟 ♣️ BIG BTC🏆 ♣ Win✅ Mac✅ Android✅ HTML5✅ on: July 12, 2019, 08:22:18 PM
Quick idea: Let people win multiple BigBTC tickets and then give them away to other players.

No downside I can see to SWC (except for a bit more organisational effort), more sats would probably run and more people would get the chance to play for free/cheap.

Also, QoL request: Please show the regged SNGs/tourneys as "In Game" in cashier and reflect in total balance. I keep getting mini heart attacks when I forget I'm regged and open the cashier.

No downside you can see, really? How about creating a dark market to sell extra tickets, for less than BI value even, because degenerates rather have some extra chips than give a ticket away that they can't even use? Or people using them as a kind of staking arrangement, but then the horse absconding with funds after a big score, causing more needless drama? Please. I'm sure there are many other less than ideal scenarios, but I thought of those two in under a minute.

I haven't played on SWC in months, and not sure how their ticket system even works, but some more logical solutions would be:

1. Don't allow players to win multiple tickets. This eliminates the desire to play sattys for more than one ticket and should open up the field for different players to win. It may have an adverse effect on getting sattys to run though, given a limited player pool.
2. Don't make tickets specific for a month. You can win as many tickets as you like, they are nontransferable, and be can used for the same tournament (or a tournament with same BI?) at a future date.
3. Credit anything over one ticket in the amount of the ticket BI in chips. This option may need tweaking though, as it can essentially remove money from the GTD prize pool, since the player isn't forced to use the chips for the tournament.

Also, regarding your free/cheap reasoning, while satellites do allow more people to play a tournament they wouldn't normally, or for less than what they would possibly pay by buying in directly, other people still have to cover the value of the ticket BI. Satellites can't be compared to freerolls in that regard.

Are you doing anything to rectify the negative trust that you now have? Are you going to be letting multiple people cheat in poker? Are winning bets still disappearing?

Hi! We are in contact with the persons regarding the negative trust, as their concerns have been resolved.

We are also always looking for ways to avoid collusion at poker and we have not received any complaints regarding winning bets that disappear, please send us a PM for further assistance.
Thank you.
-Kevin

Are you doing anything to rectify the negative trust that you now have? Are you going to be letting multiple people cheat in poker? Are winning bets still disappearing?

This is quite worrying. I actually just tried to cash out a small amount of winnings from nitro (first time I've won while using their book in a few months), and they froze my account, and came at me with some baseless accusations. The direct thing they accused me of is having 'overlapping assets' with other accounts. I asked them what that meant, and the only thing they said was a canned response of how my response had been forwarded to Security for review.

I've used Nitrogen off and on for 5 years, and never had a problem with them until recently. They basically gave me a bunch of shit for not depositing on their site. I have a few affiliates there, one who is very active and has deposited over 10 bitcoin in a short period of time, and plays primarily dice, and I use the money I earn from affiliates to degen.

Ever since that conversation with support, it's been one problem after another. The latest accusing me of overlapping assets with random accounts I've never heard of, and they provided no proof either of any relation to the accounts in question.

I will update here when I here back from the security team. Thankfully the amount is negligible, all in all they are holding a little less than $100 USD of my money, again, with zero proof, evidence, or even explanation as to their accusations.

Edit - When I further inquired as to what they are accusing me of, this is the response I get. My initial message is on the bottom, and support's response is on top.  A+ support, super professional.  Roll Eyes Not to even mention the incorrect grammar and lack of proper punctuation. Cheesy

Hi RoKSeouljah420, we understand your frustration. Please send us your Nitro ID via PM for further assistance.

Thank you.
-Kevin

Hi, Kevin. My Nitro ID is pretty clearly visible in the screenshot. My account was unlocked within a few hours, albeit still with no immediate explanation of what I was accused of.

I did, however, get further contact from support today with clarification of the issue (for those wondering, overlapping assets refers to location/IP).

To be clear, I am not unhappy with the time it took for this matter to be resolved. I simply took issue with how it was handled. I don't think it's too much to ask for a reasonable and respectful explanation when these kind of issues occur. To be told by a representative of your site that that is too much to ask is, in my opinion, not only highly unprofessional, it's unacceptable.

The fact is your customers implicitly trust you to hold their funds, and that kind of trust should inherently warrant some level of respect and open communication when situations like this arise, which did not happen in this case.

All in all, I am satisfied with the outcome, despite the general inconvenience and time that it cost me (I spent over an hour digging through my betting history for the last five years, trying to find something out of the ordinary). However, may I suggest that you encourage your employees (looking at you Hal J.) to have a little more sensitivity and understanding when directly dealing with customers, as I'm sure you can appreciate how frustrating, and worrisome, situations like this can be.

Nitrogen doesn't control their lines or their odds. They have scraped their lines from Pinnacle for years. And even if Pinnacle has it, it doesn't mean they will put it up.

Hi, I made a withdraw today and the bitcoin was never sent but the amount was still deducted from my account. Huh When I click on the transaction link provided by the site, blockchain.com says the transaction is not found. It was an instant withdraw made over 30 minutes ago. Huh

Edit - my user ID is 1335869.

Edit 2 - looks like it just got sent, but still it took about an hour.

Messed around with some OFC today, interesting new structure. Any plan on reinstating OFC sit and goes, as well as h/u cash tables?

-BttB

OFC sit and go and OFC tournament will be on 3.0 soon. They are in final stages of testing.

HU cash games are in the lobby for popular games. If there is cash table you want but you dont see it, please email support and we will put it in for you. You can also ask in lobby chat, we monitor it most times.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I meant specifically the H/U OFC cash tables that were limited to only two seats. I know a couple guys that prefer to only play heads up, and they leave when someone else sits down at the table, which can kill a game.

We currently have a 5 hour gap in our tournament schedule for maintenance.

What tournament game and buy-in would you like to see in that time slot?

OFC tournaments?

Nice to see the different variations of Chinese. I haven't actually looked at the tables yet, but I'm assuming they're all set to QQ+ as default for fantasy land? Also what is the 'point limit'? Is that the maximum buy in?

Wishing you guys luck with the rebranding, would be a good time to overhaul the VIP system to actually give it some value again *wink wink*

18  Economy / Gambling / Re: SwCpoker.eu | No Banking, Only Bitcoin | Bitcoin Poker 2.0 LIVE NOW! on: November 02, 2018, 08:21:13 PM
We are still testing the 3.0 platform, with the focus on security & accounting.

We will disclose known issues upon launch, and make all players whole if any issue comes up that takes away value.

SwC,

take all the time in the world.

2.0 is still the nuts.

(To those hesitant to try it, deposits/withdraws = very quick, support = prompt/honest, game selection = VERY wide (they have every game, at every stake), volume = low during weekdays, weekends more ppl, rakeback =  based on your krill rank, software = vsmooth).

Of all the bitcoin/crypto related things that have came and gone, SwC never did anyone dirty. Over the course of YEARS operating, they never did anything shady to their end users. When bitcoin was 300$ to when bitcoin was 18k, they've stayed consistent, honorable, and online.

I can't say the same for some reputable exchanges, countless shitcoin IPO/ITO/ICO projects, or deceptive crypto personalities.

I'll admit the release should of been better planned before specific dates were published, but you cannot disregard the many years they've been online, the many hours of work put in 2.0, the SwC team's integrity in general, or the notion their actively committed on bettering an already fantastic platform.

I stand with SwC, 4life.

To haters: go muck yourself.

Put down the crack, shill.
