Guy has still not contacted me regarding my refund/compensation.

It is becoming frustrating now e-mailed them again and again every day.

I have even received my invoice for the hosting at Michagan.

I'm now tired of contacting spondoolies. Poor techie Zvi has been doing his best to work out what's wrong with my 3 machines.

I have posted several times on this forum too.

From the 3 machines (SP-30's) purchased only one is running.. and not consistant. They sent one RMA and yet that is also not working again.

Guy has not contacted me again about any compensation. I'm loosing out as I've gave it for host in Michagan and i'm based in London.

What do you say for this?

If you cannot do anything why can't you simply refund me? That would make life more easier!

Two of my new SP-30's are not going over 2TH for some reason. I have spoke to my hosting in Michagan and he says this seems to be an issue with many of the SP30's they've received. Are SP looking into this issue? We are losing out on the mining.

Did you open ports? Please mail me with the units contact (or ask the hosting to mail me directly).

Yes I've mailed several times to sales.. I have also sent you a personal message on the forum with all details.

Please mail me to zvi@sp.... Thanks.

Sent now.

It seems I have the same issue as bitcoinpapi. I have e-mailed many times to @sales and have had no reply. It is costing me $500 to send the machine back. I recieved the machine late too. I was expecting it in September and it came first week of October. And when the machine came it was not working. Would I be able to get a refund for this item as I have heard nothing what so ever. Will you take care of the shipping charge if I send the item back? This is one of the three machines. The other two machines are hashing away in a data centre in michagan. Please review and let me know asap Guy as i'm loosing out here and not happy.

Hi Guys,

From the 3 machines I ordered from Spondoolies.. 2 of them are working and one of them doesn't so they've requested to get it sent back to them. I will be loosing out on hashing and paying for shipping the miner back. Is this something spondoolie will compensate for? I did recieve the 3 units pretty late too.. I got them on the 2nd of October when they said it would come in mid-September..

Anyhow I have been mining with the other two machines and have noticed only getting like $10 to $15 per day max combined together for mining with Slush.. Is this usual or should I change to BTC Guild?

Sorry I'm new to mining.. I was expecting these machines could produce upto $50 dollars per day minimum for each machine.

Does anyone have the same problem as me with the new SP-30's?

Plugged mine in at the hosting space.

It now says 'The miner is not running or waiting for pool connection.'

Can anyone tell me what to do?

Have you entered your mining pool information?

Yes I have entered mininig pool information.
I ordered 3 machines. 1 machine always had a error so i've messaged spondoolie.
The other two machines were connected to slush pool and were running for a few hours until this message appeared. I've entered a backup pool information so if slush goes down it goes into the second one. But still it is not working.

Have any idea?

Spondoolies are on holiday I guess so they will get back to me after Monday i think.

How trust worthy are http://www.michigan-colocation.com/.

I'm planning to give my SP-30's to them. Anyone else hosting with them?

Can I change the pools at anytime? Do they give VPN?
14  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: September 16, 2014, 08:41:46 PM

For a start you save the 20% import duty, 2x SP30's at say $4500 each works out around £1,100 total. If they go to the USA you pay 0

Typical UK Electric is around 15p, using 5400 watts is around £20 or $32 A DAY, $944 a month

Where I host my machines you would pay $700 a month, so your saving $250 a month in hosting and the $1760 import fees, you don't have to worry about power/internet or cooling and you have full access to the machines and can make any changes.
$700/mo to host 3 Sp-30 (consuming 9kw)? Are you sure? If yes, you got one sweet deal which does NOT exist anymore (unless you just linked a hosting site, but yourself host at a different place).

Huh He said 2x SP30's not 3.

he said 3 here
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=521520.msg8844433#msg8844433

if just 2, fair enough

Smiley question of context, Tigggger can correct me if I am wrong but I read it that Tigggger was comparing the cost of two SP30's at home in the UK vs hosting two SP30's in the US.

I guess the boscocoin could extrapolate the data for three SP30's

Damn you Tigggger for muddying the waters!  Tongue

haha. I've got three units coming in total but 2 are coming earlier as I ordered them pretty early. I'm looking into michigan-colocation as it seems like the perfect option for me whether I have 2 or 3 machines

Ok.. Hosting seems to be bit expensive.

I'd check the sums again, all mine have gone to the USA for hosting and it's cheaper than the UK in all respects

Tell Rich I sent you Smiley

Thank you Tigggger. This was really useful information. Is there a fixed term contract with them? Would it be 6months? What happens after the contract finishes? Do i get the item shipped back to London? And I would need to pay the duty then right?

I called an electrician and told him.. He's the one who advised me to add these new sockets. I'm guessing he's not a qualified electrician.
Is there anything in specific I should tell the electrician?

I'm not good at electrical wiring. Maybe someone else can help you, but I would tell him: "Yo dawg I need to plug 6 cables that will suck 1500W each. Do your stuff and I'm paying!".

haha.. Cant I just put an extension with 6 extra sockets type thingy and connect the machines to that?
You use a PDU (big ass power bar rated for the proper amperage) and plug your power supplies into that. I have 30 amp PDU's connected to a 240v outlet. This allows me to run about 5800 watts of the single plug. Much more cost effective than pulling more copper and having multiple outlets at the wall.

Ok, I'll look into getting a 30AMP PDU in London. So i can connect that directly into my socket. Will this be enough to plug 2 or more SP-30s?

Im in the UK

Ok.. Hosting seems to be bit expensive. I have allocated some rack space in my room near the window. And also with my air-con. I'm not fussy about the noise. The only issue now would be the power coming off the wall. I know London sockets support 240v. If I do plug two of the units will there be any issues like the units blowing up or anything?

What is the worst that could happen? Just my trip would be turned off right?

I can change the electrics in the room. I had to manually create extra sockets which I fed off another power wire.

You should call an electrician and inform him about your plans. The cost of re-wiring should be minimal.
