1  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does anybody know AlphaCard Anonymous Debit Card? Possible scam? on: March 10, 2020, 12:59:22 PM
Unfortunately I also bought the card and paid 100 bucks in it, so looks like I got scammed as well. We should report this site, where can we report the scammers? They are not replying to my support ticket.  Angry Angry
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I think all crypto is scam on: December 29, 2019, 07:20:23 PM
There are many projects that have scammers behind them and just pay programmers to create websites, roadmaps and whitepapers that barely anyone bothers to read and also no real token or coin with real use cases. This is the problem. You also have the wrong types of investors who have a very bad mindset. They all come online and into crypto wanting fast money for doing nothing, then when a project fails they just sit and whine all day and blame this, that and the other. So it works both ways, you have scammers scamming the lazy and unsuspecting people, who do not do their research properly or get carried away by FUD and FOMO. We all need to change our mindset to improve our results in this game.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain courses? on: December 29, 2019, 07:16:18 PM
I see a blockchain course here in the University of Nicosia. This was the first university in the world to accept Bitcoin as a payment for enrolling and was also the first university to create it's own blockchain and crypto currency course. If you have a Bachelor's degree, you can get an MSC with this course here: https://www.unic.ac.cy/blockchain/msc-digital-currency/
It is very good to know that you can do these kind of courses and become an expert in blockchain technology and cryptocurrency. I am too old now to go back to school as I feel I know enough already that is serving me well in this field. Other younger folks might want to try it.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Worsening Lebanese Crisis May Spark Bitcoin Adoption on: December 29, 2019, 07:11:29 PM
The Lebanon issue is a very complicated and deep rooted one. I do not think the people are too aware of Bitcoin, like for example the Turks are, who as soon as we had a few months ago the Turkish Lira nose dive, you saw hoards of Turks going into Bitcoin and the digital currency markets at large. I think there is a minority of people there exploring Bitcoin, but we would need more people to get educated and open to it. Still they need to sort our their internal strife out and weed out corruption. Of course Blockchain technology adoption could help in weeding out corruption at the core, which is always a big issue in countries that have chronic problems.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are smart as well. on: December 28, 2019, 10:16:57 PM
The problem is the scammers are smart because there are too many lazy people who come online to get rich quick. I see so many people getting scammed on Telegram because they never follow the instructions given by projects who say many times ADMINS do not pm members, they need to contact official support of the project. Yet still because people are impatient and like spoiled children, they want an issue sorted right away then they get hacked or scammed by fake Admins who are really scammers and hackers. I think most of the people involved in the cryptocurrency arena should not be involved at all as they cannot take failure, losses or any bad thing happen or they cannot take responsibility for their actions. People have to educate themselves so they get scammed or hacked less.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin cannot be decentralized if the Internet is centralized on: December 28, 2019, 09:43:14 PM
Bitcoin gave Mankind, or Humankind the ability to think outside of the box again, as we were all put into a slavery system or code to abide by and work in. The decentralized notion behind Bitcoin was a paradigm shift into realizing that there is far more outside of just what the governments and central banks wanted us to believe there was. We do not necessarily need the internet to be decentralized to decentralize Bitcoin, what we need is more forward thinking people and organizations both public and private to embrace the technology itself that is the greatest gift from Bitcoin, not it being only a speculative asset for people to make financial gains. We need to look at the picture as a whole here.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is YouTube Now Cracking Down on Crypto Related Contents? on: December 26, 2019, 10:52:53 PM
If this is the case, they should remove all adult related material, hate speech, gambling videos and violence as well, if they are so nit picky I understand that there are many crypto scams and after programs like Bitconnect, it is right that some videos should be removed but also there should be some allowance for some crypto items as the crypto market is here to stay and you cannot just ignore a 250 billion dollar financial market. Maybe they should make it like cigarette packets, make every video influencer have a big disclaimer on each video. Let people have a choice to watch or not to watch with the disclaimer.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin is a get rich quick scheme, then fiat is a get poor slow scheme on: December 26, 2019, 10:48:59 PM
My wife she gets her salary in Bitcoin, so yes, she is one of the new generation of people who cannot get a job earning Fiat but is working and receiving Bitcoin. I believe also Bitcoin will replace mainstream FIAT because traditional jobs are dying out because of automation and other calamities, but internet and blockchain jobs now are coming and people are working now in this niche, instead of being unemployed. I am sure and more confident in Bitcoin than I am of FIAT now, because it is true, inflation has made many people poor over the last fifty years in the West especially and a whole middle class has been wiped out and is living in poverty now. This is a stark reality.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Banks in Germany can sell and store cryptocurrencies from 2020 on: December 24, 2019, 11:24:47 AM
This is great to witness such an event. It would be awesome if we could go to our local banks and open an account in Bitcoin. I would love to see that in other countries in Europe and around the world as well. It would alos be very much more cost effective for people like my Wife for example who earns her salary in Bitcoin. She would be paying much less in fees and transnational costs to exchange to FIAT, if her Bank had a a crypto account she could hold Bitcoin or other major crypto assets. Let us hope times move faster for the rest of the countries now to get onboard with the new paradigm of our times. I do hope we gt there faster as we are older and we do not have as much time as the younger generations.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Points Why Crypto Future Will Be Totally Unstoppable on: December 24, 2019, 11:20:26 AM
Bitcoin is already ten years old, which is a good thing as maturity now in this market is coming through infrastructure projects and more adoption. Now we see more women also coming into Crypto, this should enhance the buying and building of volume in the CMC. I noticed also more and more women are coming to trade, my wife now is one of them, trading almost daily as a part time hobby of hers. There needs to be more and more good regulation coming from countries to allow people more leeway in suing and building also cryptocurrency portfolios. I see that happening over the next 5-10 years as we move into a more greener and smarter economy globally.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Price Trend Reversal in Progress? on: December 24, 2019, 11:13:59 AM
I do not see a Bitcoin rally before the Spring. We may be hovering between 5k USD and 7.5K USD over the next few months, at least in the first quarter of 2020, then maybe we might see a northward bound Price incoming for Bitcoin. This is purely my own hunch for what is happening in the short to midterm as logic dictates with all the holidays coming u until end of January. I believe many on Bitmex are waiting for the big short and when they will make a lot of money when Bitcoin nose dives to the 5k USD ranges. I will be ready to fill a bag and perhaps by one whole Bitcoin once we have that dip incoming. Let us see how things will arise over the next quarter during the holiday time.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is this still possible today? on: December 22, 2019, 11:22:40 PM
It is possible but now investors are more discerning because back in the day there as a lot of pumping and dumping. It happens now also but bad projects just do not get a look in anymore. In the past everyone would invest in every crap coin there was, but now people will really take their time to find a good project to invest in.  I think there will be some good coins that may give that big jump in price and I believe my Wife has found a really good project. Their telegram group is also growing very fast. I believe this coin can easily 100 x over the next two years. I could be wrong but it has that potential for sure. I think some other projects might make it as well, but they will be very few I think over the next few years, not like before, where almost everything and anything mooned.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL&CALM on: December 22, 2019, 11:14:26 PM
I a very calm because I went through many storms in this game of Cryptocurrency and my wife has suffered a lot more than myself as she put in too much of her time and energy into it, but she is picking up some good gems now and works full time now for one blockchain company and earns her salary in Bitcoin, so she is a lot more content now and believes that there is a new dawn coming, maybe not as fast and furious like 2017 and early 2018, but something more long term and solid coming to help which is more of what we need. We need mass adoption and long term holders who are looking at crypto for the next generation and also for their pension plan and savings.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Price pressure of exchanges on: December 22, 2019, 11:11:25 PM
Fake volume is for building coins and exchanges up to rank on CMC, the manipulation of the price is mainly made in the leverage or margin trading exchanges, where people who don't necessarily own any of the Bitcoin they trade, do the futures trading and short or long the market as a price prediction. That, for me is where the big manipulation is. Bitcoin being so scarce should by now be worth a lot more, but since futures trading was introduced, that is what killed the price of Bitcoin, not the wash trading that is occurring on the exchanges so they can rank higher on Coinmarketcap. We need to be discerning where we want to trade and also what pairings, we need good liquidity in the market but we can eventually get that when the market cap is far bigger, like there is in FX trading.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Outclasses Other Cryptocurrencies as an Investment Option, Here’s Why on: December 22, 2019, 02:43:57 PM
It is natural that the grandfather of digital currencies is performing the best and is getting heavily invested in right now, more than other digital currencies because it is like investing in roads and highways for having the first cars on the roads. Smart people will invest in the infrastructure, and that is what BITCOIN is, the infrastructure to mass adoption. Of course there will be some very huge gains for certain cryptocurrencies and tokenized projects in this year and years to come, as just like there are different cars and brands of computers or phones, there are different crypto currencies or projects backing them that people will want to invest in if they see potential. I plan on investing and trading in some low cap coins and will gradually build my Bitcoin through trading and playing with the other currencies. Bitcoin will be a decent asset class currency to hold over time and will be performing well I think.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Eureka Coin on: December 21, 2019, 10:20:04 PM
When will the exchange data on coinmarketcap begin to be displayed?
It is taking time but Darren Bradbury, gives some good answers today in this Q & A and he mentioned what you are asking in the live airing there was today. More exchange listings for EUREKA COIN are coming as well and projects to be listed on the exchange as well as the blockchain itself. He also discusses MYPASSIVETRADES as well because they have the platinum packs now and also some good advice and how to conduct business in a professional manner. I like the no fluff approach here as opposed to other hyped up projects.
Here is the video to watch and it is very motivational I may add: https://www.facebook.com/100010394567314/videos/994041440952332/

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deutsche Bank said Crypto will Replace Fiat Currencies by 2030! Really Possible? on: December 21, 2019, 10:00:26 PM
I think as more kyc and aml regulations come into effect this will bring about the rise of digital transactions. In Greece for example now more and more cashless payments are being made, especially in restaurants by law to avoid the V.A.T tax evasion that was rife in the country until this new law was implemented. Also crypto enthusiasts and libertarians on the other side like to hoard and amass the more individual tokenized assets and decentralized coins like Bitcoin and Monero to take a stance against the general powers that be, like our current fractional reserve banking system, which have impoverished generations of people and have created a prison planet of slavery. There will be more cashless societies in the future but how fast cash will disappear, that, no one has the answer for yet.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so few women buying into Bitcoin? on: December 21, 2019, 09:47:07 PM
Because basically women always receive directly instead of waiting for one of the investments the reason why women never invest is because of the long wait process and most women are easily scared when assets go down so women are not suitable to be in the crypto world

I think women are much quieter when it comes to crypto, maybe more women own crypto than we think. My Wife she is probably one of the exceptions, she has been advocating crypto now for years and despite the many bad experiences she has had and the bullying, she is a staunch supporter and survivor and thanks to her, now almost everyone in her family know about crypto. It is true, we need to make crypto attractive for more and more women to enter. We say women like to spend, but many of them also make great savers, so getting them in to hold long term crypto might be very attractive to them. I believe it is more the technical aspect that has scared many off and the scammers/hackers.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your preparation for 2020? on: December 19, 2019, 08:55:04 PM
Most of the Bitcoin has been mined already so I have a feeling this new Bitcoin Halving Event won't have as much impact on the price as previous times. I do still hold an optimistic viewpoint though that 2020 might have some good action, but that also depends on the Bitmex and leverage players who love to short the market too fast and don't let it rise fast enough to get into a bull market phase. I am holding more small cap coins that might have a better chance to 20 x than say Bitcoin has right now, so then I can get more Bitcoin and gold backed stable coins if they shoot up in price the way I expect them to next year. Already one has gone up 100% since I first purchased it, so if it does this x 10, I will 20 x my investment so will be happy with that in the medium term trajectory of 2020.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Preparing for a recession... Gold or Bitcoin? on: December 19, 2019, 08:51:13 PM
I would hold a basket of assets, if I had the ability too and of course gold would certainly be in my portfolio. Silver is also going to be another good asset to hold as well and could be the cheaper option for those who cannot hoard hoards of gold. Bitcoin is great as well as you can start with very small amounts, depending on the size of your pocket. For now we trade more with my Wife so we can hedge against inflation and also the volatility of gold and bitcoin prices in general and the devaluation of FIAT. I THINK RIGHT NOW IT IS THE ONLY WAY TO STAY AHEAD OF THE GAME, TO KEEP MAKING AND TAKING PROFITS. We learned this great lesson the hard way, after we lost all we made in 2015-2018 in the bear market.
