What do you think is the best way to create a completely offline Electrom wallet? in Tails?

Anyway the actual keeps the wallet away from the internet will work. Been the tails or USB stick or Flash drive can work. The other method which is also easy is the use of an old computer thereby removing anything relate to its connection with the internet and then set up the device. I prefer the old computer method if form properly because of the method of transferring the unsigned and signed transaction file between my cold wallet and the watch only wallet. With a laptop or computer you can use the QR method of sharing the file which to me is at lest safer than the connection of drives to the computers

Absolutely true!!!

Guys, I just tried it and it works. The blue wallet not only accepts seeds created on the electrum bip 32 as well as seeds with extra words (paraphase). Thanks for your help.

Yes, of course in the case of the blue wallet, it works. I imported a wallet created from electrum with 12 words and it opened without any problems. But when I tried to open one with the 12 words plus the extra one, it didn't work anymore.

I have never tried this myself, but I saw someone saying Sparrow wallet does support Electrum seeds as well.

Usually, other wallets (Exodus, Trustwallet, OKX wallet, Coinbase wallet and the list goes on) use BIP39 and they do not support Electrum's seed.

You will only be able to recover your wallet in Electrum (as far as I know) if you add any custom words to it.

Electrum wallet is open source. Forked by thousands of users. I wouldn't be worried about not being able to recover the funds if Electrum ceases to exist.

As for your question regarding custom words, this a feature to protect your real wallet. So for example: Electrum gives you 12 words, you add 2 custom words, but you only write down the 12 seed phrase (while memorizing the rest)

If someone ever finds the written seedphrase, he will be able to recover the wallet, but won't find anything there, since your main wallet is coming from 12 words + 2 custom words that only you know instead of just the 12 words.

Yes, Sparrow supports and recovers electrum wallets, but from what I've seen it only does one file. Sure, most wallets don't accept it because they are bip39, but the Blue wallet (the one I tried) accepted it with the 12 words, with the 12 + no. I think that with the 12 and more options it is only possible on the electrum itself I think. It will be?

Hi everyone, I have some questions and need help with Electrum. If you can help me I would appreciate it. I want to create a wallet on electum, but I have some doubts, I'll put topics to make it easier.

Electrum creates beep32 seeds and I know that it is possible to recover the account if electrum disappears (a unlikely scenario), I have already tried putting the 12 words in the blue wallet and it works without problems. However, I did another experiment, which was to create a wallet with 12 words plus 2 optional ones. But in this case, when I entered the 12 words in the blue wallet it loaded (it didn't ask for the other 2) but another wallet appeared, different xpub addresses, everything was different. And he didn't carry my real wallet. Does anyone know why? what happened? Why instead of giving an error did it load other data that was not from the original wallet?

When creating a wallet with 12 words plus some or some optional ones, is it only possible, if necessary, to do a recovery with the seed in the electrum itself?

Which wallets are accepted or compatible with bip32 electrum seeds?

Thanks guys

R
