What does Chainspy do?

Hello BitcoinTalk! We are Chainspy – an on-chain metric data aggregation website that provides insights into blockchain networks beyond just prices.

If you're curious about how active a blockchain really is, Chainspy provides this data and makes it easily viewable and comparable.

We focus on on-chain metrics that show how cryptocurrencies are being used in practice.

What Chainspy Can Offer the Crypto Community

  • On-Chain Metrics: Track blockchain usage data across Bitcoin, Ethereum, and many other networks.
  • Advanced Charting: Use our integrated TradingView charts to visualise blockchain activity.
  • API Access: Need blockchain data for your project? We are planning to launch Chainspy’s API soon. Let us know if you'd like to use it.

A Look at Chainspy (Sorry about the links, but I'm not a Jr Member yet)

Table View – Blockchain metrics at a glance

Chart view - for those who prefer a visual approach, we’ve integrated TradingView charts so you can analyse the data as easily as stock prices.
Here's some example charts:

  • Wealth Distribution - How is wealth spread across wallets? Is there centralisation or wide distribution?

Distribution of address balances on Bitcoin

Distribution of address balances on Dogecoin

  • Number of Transactions - what chains are handling the most traffic?

  • Active Senders and Receivers - Estimate how many users are active on the network.

How You Can Help Improve Chainspy

We’re just getting started and would love your feedback. If you have a cryptocurrency or metric you would like to get listed, post in this thread or email us at support@chainspy.net and we'll get working to add it ASAP. Let’s make blockchain data more accessible for everyone.

3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DCA method on: September 04, 2024, 07:19:08 AM
I remember someone used to post their DCA performance every month or so on r/bitcoin or r/CryptoCurrency. Something like https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/13vm33v/buying_bitcoin_instead_of_having_a_netflix/ Always shocking to see how much a small amount over a long time can accumulate with Bitcoin
