1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 2 Reasons Noobs Fail At Trading on: February 14, 2019, 05:19:45 PM
1 - Not utilizing discounted trading platforms or functions

2 - Not utilizing stop losses (or setting stop losses in the wrong spots)

-The discount on the trading platform actually has no impact in this case, how can fees affect your trading profit? maybe it can happen if you only use 10 $ for trading
- Stop losses is only a feature using this one if you're not ready to fall deeper
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Sent Offline! on: February 14, 2019, 04:59:35 PM
Well, actually in all platform, Blockchain, Game, Internet, and everything that contains Online/Offline thing is always can be fun. But also give some troublesome. And every "Online" activity always use "Request" and "Response" which is the simplest way is by using ping. Different condition (Online & Offline) "Always" give different results. This is why its impossible to create it in offline.

Or do you expect something like temporary cloud services ?
So when we send bitcoin, its only send to the temporary folder to be save the record, and after we connected to the internet, it will just response and we don't need to open the apps/web and send it again ? i think this would make some crash/bug
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: First hand examples of Emotional trading on: February 13, 2019, 11:44:30 PM
Since sometimes trading is 60-75% controlled by emotions, this was hard enough to not greedy at all.
- Applied the strategy to another coins which has the same pattern and the almost same of coins marketcap
- Put the goals too high, sometimes we hope at more than 10% in 3 days. At bearish market we must see the real condition, don't put the goals too high.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the Market Stabilizing? on: February 13, 2019, 11:35:04 PM
What are your opinions?

For a long time I thought BTC stabilized at $6400, then boom!

I would like to get some views to help me decide what to do.

It has been a wild ride (to put it mildly!)  It can be scary.

Better hold your bitcoin. Current market condition is not too good for selling or buying because hard to predict market movement. Maybe after bitcoin trade in ETF, bitcoin can recover the price

The condition of the market that is too deep indeed makes us very frustrated, HOLD is also not always a wise choice, sometimes it would be better to cut out and then use existing assets, to take profits. Some crypto enthusiasm still pesimist about recover to ATH.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: More formal blockchain education needed in the Philippines on: February 13, 2019, 11:20:27 PM
snip-
It will also help to reduce a lot of misconceptions around crypto because crypto is the first ever real life use case of blockchain. At least some people will stop calling it a ponzi scam of they educate themselves with this technology. It's the need of the hour!
I like your point of view, that was mostly people think here in the Philippines that Bitcoin is a part of ponzi scam. Before there's a bigtime scammer caught in authority last two years if not mistaken, that's I think the reason some people always thinking Bitcoin is a scam they didn't know the real value of blockchain.

Well, that is a piece of good news though, for me, if people here are fully knowledgeable enough on blockchain and crypto for sure it takes massive adoption.

Well, i think most of people's mindset about crypto is also like this, but sometimes crypto system also act like ponzi. Make people FOMO about one thing and then the demand will slowly going down. I think education just via online is enough, no need to be a department to solve problem like this. We don't have to force people to enter crypto market.
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Diversifying has never been the same in crypto. on: February 12, 2019, 11:55:24 PM
Diversifying is a new meaning when it comes to crypto currency. Alot of crypto coins out there now. is it the generation of diversifying your portfolio. Now the average investor don't have to invest in Bitcoin if they don't want to. They got dapp coins. Privacy coins. Cloud coins. So many coins. U don't need to invest in one place anymore. Any bull run can give u net gains of over 2000% in a single night. Only if targeted by luck.

Diversifying also depends on the current market conditions. Like last year, some people will mostly advise to manage assets, but if we diversify our portfolio too much, it can even harm our asset because most of coins also will decline
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are altcoins useless? on: February 12, 2019, 11:45:13 PM
Actually we don't really need them because they are still lack of function and many expect applications in the real world. Even Bitcoin itself only gets very little role in that, especially altcoins. It may be untimely or indeed it will never be something that is "needed"
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is knowledge and knowledge is value and value is money on: February 11, 2019, 11:38:28 PM
actually it would be something that sounds strange if we call this bitcoin knowledge. Try to explain how knowledge can create a bubble scheme. just say if this is another method to get profit. Money will he always beat knowledge (at least that's what happen right now)
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Is anybody tracking lost bitcoins? on: February 11, 2019, 11:29:26 PM
hi,

i am just collecting info about lost bitcoins.

i want addresses with lost private keys / no private keys / or any other addresses with unavailable bitcoins

is anybody can point me if such data set is already exist or just post such addresses here.

thank you

Actually we just can't track it, Bitcoin addresses is only show you how much current balance on there and tx in/out. We don't know which one has lost its private key, because it could be tht balance that you think the last transaction is 2 years ago but the owner still HOLD it.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: my metamask wallet has been hacked on: February 11, 2019, 05:13:52 PM
I am sure that it is very likely that you have installed the wrong Metamask add-ons, given that there were many incidents about this, they chose the wrong application so that the malware add-ons caused your wallet to be hacked.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bullish trend has commence! on: February 11, 2019, 05:08:06 PM
I think this kind of chart didn't give any clue about Bullish trend, this more like only a temporary hype, some momentum from Bittorent and some rumors about bitcoin that will be accepted. Honestly, this thing could be work now but since more people aware from previous event, i think we can use this chance to get more deposits. Buy the rumors, Sell the news.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Centralized and Decentralized Exchanges on: February 07, 2019, 10:29:20 AM
The problem is for now, people don't think about choosing whether the exchange is centralized or decentralized, in the end they prefer an exchange that has high efficiency and security, even we know that exchanges like Etherdelta / Forkdelta have been hacking incidents right?
For the highest priority, we talk about people's money and security, not other facilities or features that are not too important
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What current cryptocurrency projects actually NEED a blockchain? on: February 07, 2019, 10:24:06 AM
So actually it will be difficult for people like us to tell which project is really good, because the point is only the core team of each project can tell it.

The point is, that we all know, most of whitepaper just telling us about "Blockchain will synchronize with their products" but they don't explain how to do that. If it's just making apps and things like that then what changes can be obtained ?
Do you think just for built an apps, make new exchange, new network, can we call this "they need blockchain" ? I don't think so, they abuse and explot the blockchain
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [VIDEO] - BITCOIN GOING BOTTOM IN FEBRUARY ?! on: February 07, 2019, 06:54:34 AM
So it will not be absolute predictions of this, each person has a different perception of the "bottom" and also depends on the price when you compare it.
Let's assume tommorrow is the bottom price and after that all market in crypto, especially the top 10 of CMC all goes up,then what will you do ?
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BitTorrent - PLease be really ****CAREFULL**** when throwing money here on: February 07, 2019, 06:40:44 AM
Those people that already entry BTT market think only because the ICO uses the name "Binance" as a shield, so they think it is still in a safe zone especially with the presence of the well-known Binance market volume. It's just that they forget something, the coin will also pass their moment and there will be a saturation time.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to invest to have pasive income on: February 07, 2019, 05:57:02 AM
Hi,

I've been mining for almost two years, and now I am going to sell my graphic card. That money I want to invest in some cryptocurrency that have pasive income (POS, DPOS, masternode or something similar).
For now I'm looking to invest in vechain.
What are your opinions and suggestions?

Best regards

for now try not to expect passive income from crypto, judging from the obvious market conditions it will be difficult to stabilize like this, it will actually be dangerous, not important what the product is, when it goes to trading, all of it will return with supply & demand.
17  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is stoploss worth it ? on: February 07, 2019, 03:53:21 AM
Stop loss useful for safe trading but in crypto trading my luck so bad, Sometimes I used stop loss then market hit my stop loss an bounce back but obviously using stop loss the best idea and safety trade system.

yes sometimes things like that often happen, this is the reason sometimes I use stop loss not only to not lose too badly but also to take the opportunity to buy back at some lower point of that but i'm not sure if we do something like this right now. Most people tend to sell than buy.
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Intraday vs HODL on: February 05, 2019, 02:16:08 PM
HOLD for major coins, not all, but it's just that you have to be really smart in choosing coins in the current market conditions.

Intraday?
Not recommended at all, it's depends on your luck. Sometimes you'll get worse because of this but when it got you, it could recover your loses
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What aims have you lost your funds so far in crypto? on: February 05, 2019, 02:00:49 PM
Back in 2017 I believe we have lots and lots of millionaires and billionaires in the crypto atmosphere, now back in 2018 we really have a terrible happenings like for e.g the drop down of bitcoin, ICO no longer paying up, funds get missing either on Exhcangers site or investment. I believe we have lots of encounters in lost of funds

Now what is your own side you ever lost your funds?

While at that time I never bought directly either through exchange or ICO, I never felt a loss of funds that I had gotten from hard work, but sometimes felt sorry for being late to sell when prices could still make a profit of 100-300% from current prices.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kid should start earning bitcoin as young as kindlegarden on: February 05, 2019, 01:56:08 PM

Kids shouldn’t go to school and learn the same repetitive education that trained them to be slave, like lawyers, accountant, doctor, they should be earning their own bitcoin too.

I don’t believe we shouldn’t teach kid about money, we should be encourage them to earn money, since bitcoin are easy to earn, why we must tell kids to follow the same advices that lead to what we have failed millenial generation today? We don’t want our kid to end up like millenial again, we shall teach them not working for money, and as young as possible.

Becoming millionaire is no longer a privilege right to grown up man, kids should have them too, easy access to banking are also shouldn’t limited to matured, why some exchange still so stereotype by not allowing kids below 18 years old to trade crypto, this is very sad and very bad to them.

It seems that you have run out of ideas to make a more qualified thread, we all know this is the wrong thing, then why should you discuss about this ? or you just trying to make more posts ?  Cool

it's called harassment of the rights of children, every human being has its own phase and children in this case feel their time period. Each people has their own role, The father go to work, Mother take care the home, and child just study and play.
