simul8or has been updated to provide 5 years of historical data across all tickers! The previous limits on simulations have been removed, so you now have full access to any stock you'd like to simulate.
I visited your website again and tried to trade APPL with data from 2021, but the data failed to load even though there was no notification that the date range was invalid. Is this behavior expected? I used a Chromium-based browser with an ads blocker.

If I remember correctly, I can access the chart data just fine with an ad blocker enabled before. I don't think many people would use your website if you require them to unblock ads.

AAPL from 2021 should work provided you used an actual market date.  Here's an example:

https://simul8or.com/AAPL/2021-06-10.php

as far as ads go, there are no ads in the app/site so very strange that your adblocker is having an issue with the site

You're welcome. Maybe you can try to modify the UI to check if the data is available from the source instead? Not sure whether that's difficult or not though. I believe the majority won't like it if we need to connect an account to use your platform, so that's a good decision.

What if you provide the free account on the backend if you can't find an alternative for that?

Feel free to give it a try and let us know how it works for you.

I'll come up with something.  In the meantime, 20 new tickers get added with each trading day which can be found on the tickers page.

good to know that I need to be more clear about how to start the simulator.  for chosing the stocks at the bottom in the hottest trades/crowd trades you can simply click the green trade button to the right on each line
I tried to trade NVDA, pick a date randomly and it threw a notice saying that the ticker/date was not found. Maybe you can add a label or limit the dates to only show available dates so that the user doesn't default to random data every time? I'm not sure I like it when I can't backtest according to what I need.

Ugh!  I did have the ability to pull whatever date/ticker you want but removed it as it required to get a free account at https://www.alphavantage.co/support/#api-key.  I wasn't sure users would be willing to do that.  Perhaps I need to look for a data source that I could pull data from totally on the back-end without requiring account at alphavantage.

Thanks for the feedback

Interesting ... and nothing happens when you click start?  Would you be able to to right click anywhere/inspect and take a screenshot of the console tab please!  Do you recall what the error message was?

I apologize for it not working for you Sad  Ill get it fixed asap... also, it shouldn't be too difficult to add crypto charts at all.  I'll look into it and postback here.

Also, any details about browser/machine might help as well.

Thanks and I appreciate the feedback!

I got this error below when I clicked the start button

Edit:
Ok it works just fine after I click the random, but when I choose any stocks on the list at the bottom to trade, then click the start button, the error always comes up.

Is there any option to change the time frame?

I hope that you can add crypto to your simulator project.
I attempted to view and play the chart, but it appears to be broken; upon initial access, nothing appears to be displayed, and an error message appears. I am unable to verify what the error popup is because I did not take a screenshot.

Here's the chart. It looks like the chart is just plain black. The chart is black even after I tried to reload and clear my cache.

Hi Bitcointalk community,

I wanted to share a stock trading simulator I’ve been working on, and I think it could be helpful to some of you, especially if you’re into chart patterns and technical analysis. Although it’s focused on stocks (not crypto), the platform provides a great environment for practicing your trading strategies risk-free.

Here’s a quick overview of what Simul8or offers:

A $500,000 virtual trading bankroll to practice stock trades.
Anonymous leaderboards so you can see how you rank without giving away your identity.
Detailed metrics to track and refine your strategy over time.
No downloads or installs – everything is web-based and free to use.
The simulator is aimed at stock traders looking to sharpen their chart-reading skills and test strategies in a risk-free environment, but it could be useful for anyone who enjoys working with technical analysis.

Feel free to check it out and let me know if you have any suggestions or feedback. I’d really appreciate your input!

Here’s the link: simul8or.com Trading Simulator

Thanks!
