Proof of Altruism is certainly a cool idea for coin minting. There might be too many technical and practical issues in the way of the public hotspot use case, though. Like I wouldn't share my connection because whatever is done by any anon user on it would get blamed on me by my ISP.

How does acquiring deadcoins help out the CCB project? What will you do with the deadcoins that you acquire?

It seems to me it would just take unsellable coins out of old wallets and trade them for something folks can then sell, which hurts both the swapper and the project.

But maybe you have some greater plan. Can you explain your economic model a little?

If investors are looking to recover from the official pool split, Dev never started the official pool, probably because he couldn't get x14 working with the stratum backend. I spent most of a night patching in x14 support to nomp myself and was happy to get it working before the coin launch. I was about to check in my changes to github when I saw that excalibur (from x11-x13-pool) had already checked in the same work an hour earlier. My share was stale.

I've PM'd Dev several times in the last few days about a bounty and got no replies, either. I would guess he's about to walk away from this coin, or already has.

Not sure how the store will work since the market cap of the whole coin is like BTC1.45.
