Can I still join?
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Satoshi Nakamoto? on: December 27, 2024, 05:07:33 PM
If you are Satoshi Nakamoto how would you fix today's current landscape?
This is a stupid reason to create a thread
The question itself is stupid
Please do better.
Thank you

$100K, Bigmanik, 8,617, 2024-12-10

I've really been struggling with this
Consistency is actually quite hard
4  Other / Archival / Re: Is the new bull run already confirmed ? on: December 08, 2024, 09:46:55 AM
Bitcoin's bull run doesn't depend on anything, especially altcoins.

I think Bitcoin price that rose from $60K to $100K can't be said just a normal volatility...

The bull run is already confirmed, but $100K wasn't the peak because the last few cycle, the peak happened a year after halving event in Q4.

Some altcoins have seen huge bumps such as SOL and XRP to name a few.
Yep, most of cryptocurrency are rising, but this is not altcoin season because in altcoin season, Bitcoin price is failing while altcoins price are rising.

This is actually very,very incorrect
ALTCOIN season doesn't necessarily indicate a fall in the price of Bitcoin it is just a period of time where ALTCOINS  outperforms Bitcoin in the sense that it price increases exponentially and it breaks its ATH
Just like Bitcoin has being doing
And Bitcoin will no longer be dominant in the market
In most cases the price of Bitcoin just consolidates around a price range
It may even increase

So saying the price of Bitcoin decreases is very misleading
5  Other / Archival / Re: Is the new bull run already confirmed ? on: December 08, 2024, 06:46:43 AM
We are already in a Bitcoin’s bull run
And it has been on for a couple of weeks now
Ever since we broke out of our ATH at 70k
The question you should be asking is, how long will this bull run continue
And when will the accumulation phase start
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Financial Times apologizes on: December 08, 2024, 06:26:12 AM
A very sarcastic apology
From my point of view, they actually still don't believe in Bitcoin
They are just apologising to the readers for giving them the worst financial advice of their lives
And besides, I'm sure they just want to catch some attention using Bitcoin
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: one reason not to buy BitCoin on: December 07, 2024, 11:26:03 PM
Of course, he is a strong advocate for silver and gold, so he will never promote bitcoin no matter what.

I understand the fact that he's indeed a strong advocate for silver and gold
If he's not going to promote Bitcoin, then he shouldn't talk down on it
Just let it be
But he keeps saying negative things about bitcoin, and it gets to my nerve every time
Well I will take it that he sees bitcoin as a competition for gold and thats why he keeps up with these nonsense
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: one reason not to buy BitCoin on: December 07, 2024, 10:40:41 PM
An interesting but short read

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YguVue0lgxM

It's from Peter Sheriff What else do you expect from an attention seeking human with extremely low IQ

He is one of the most ignorant humans to walk the face of the earth
It's so funny because a lot of people who actually cristised Bitcoin back in the day came back to admit they were wrong, but he still keeps being ignorant and dumb

At this point, I believe he's just doing because of the attention je gets from Bitcoiners
9  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K Challenge on: December 07, 2024, 04:59:34 PM
I am glad that I discovered this thread today. Because bitcoin price is also 100k and now I do not have to do any pushups.

You can do 100 farts instead and better if you put a loincloth on. It will have the same effect on the price.

In fact you don't even need to fart or do push-ups, just by writing the report here you will help the price to go up.

I am on my fourth fart today. Along with 120 pushups. Farts are harder to control when you are my age (67)

Lots of stained underwear. Wink

Hahaha 😆
But being able to do 120 pushups at 67 is actually crazy
I don't think I can even do up to 100 a day and I'm just 23

Seems I'm truly out of shape
Have to push harder

Don't you get tired of being a troll
Well obviously you will decide to fart rather than do pushups
Just because you don't like the thread doesn't mean you have to find a way to discourage people who do

Just do your thing man
And let us do ours

Currently, Bitcoin is at 99k
It has not been able to totally sustain the 100k mark
So let's keep pushing guys to ensure it stays above 100k 🔥🔥🔥

11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's hard to admit, but I was wrong about Bitcoin on: December 06, 2024, 09:14:29 PM
I love the fact that he accepts he's wrong and he's able to day it out
It takes a real man to do that
But besides that, I still feel he has not totally grasped what bitcoin is capable of
According to his post, he is trying to say that bitcoins' growth is due to trump
I understand trump played a significant role in the exponential growth of Bitcoin, but the fact still remains that Bitcoin would have still hit a 100k. Although it would have taken longer but it was inevitable

And until he can understand this, he won't fully understand Bitcoin
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / They own more Bitcoin than Satoshi Nakamoto on: December 06, 2024, 07:04:16 PM
Well, few hours ago, I came across a post online
Apparently, US Bitcoin ETFs now own more Bitcoin than Satoshi Nakamoto
This firm was actually recently launched, I think, in January
They are not even a year old
And although the amount of coin they have more than Satoshi is actually much, it is still very surprising
I actually do commend them for this
Now, this brings me to a very important question
Do you think Satoshi is still alive?
And if he is, do you think he will be happy about this ?

13  Other / Politics & Society / Re: MONEY!!! on: December 06, 2024, 08:07:43 AM
People have different perspectives towards money
Some believe it to be the roots of all evil
Some believe that it is money that makes the world go round

But the fact still remains no matter how religious you are or how modest you still need money

The issue is that the human desire keeps growing no matter how much you have, you are still going to need more
Our needs and wants grow as how wealth grows
But it is the love of money that I consider a problem
Chasing wealth is actually very necessary, especially when you are a youth
But having too much love for money and being able to do anything for it is where the problem begins
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will Bitcoin catch up with Gold in capitalization? on: December 06, 2024, 01:52:54 AM
There's no denying it
We may not know when, but Bitcoin will surely surpass Bitcoin
One of the major reasons this will happen is because
Unlike GOLD, people can easily be able to see and track any transactions made with Bitcoin so the government can't lie about it(decentralized)

Although since gold has been in existence for centuries, it won't be an easy task compared to gold, Bitcoin is still very new to the market

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin from ATM without KYC on: December 06, 2024, 01:46:03 AM
Hi

If your friend wants to buy more BTC in CH KYC-free I know someone who can help DM me

Cheers
I understand that you are trying to help op and his friend out
But I personally would not advise op to DM you if he wants to
I don't consider buying Bitcoin from a newbie on the forum safe

There have to be other ways he can go about it

Please don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you are a scam. I'm just saying he should be careful

16  Economy / Speculation / Re: People on the push-ups thread jinxing the price. on: December 06, 2024, 01:40:01 AM
Well op
It seems 100 pushups a day was exactly what bitcoin needed
And it has been proven
😌😂😂

17  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K Challenge on: December 06, 2024, 01:20:14 AM
I'm so happy we were able to prove these guys wrong😅😅

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5513976.msg64653612#msg64653612

Well that aside, I'm back on this challenge, and I pray for the strength to be consistent this time around
Would love to be here when we celebrate 200k

18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A new Bitcoin Bull Run is going to begin! on: December 05, 2024, 04:01:22 PM
The new President of the USA recently posted the following statement on his own social media account known as Truth Social.

It seems he is very much invested in Bitcoin, and this could trigger another bull run. News of him winning the election has already triggered a surge in Bitcoin's price. As a Bitcoin holder, I believe that a new rally is coming, and I anticipate that the price of Bitcoin will surpass $150,000 before the end of 2024.

We've already seen how Bitcoin reached several new all-time highs as soon as the news broke out of the new President of the United States. The counting of votes is still going on in several states but the majority that he got suggests he is the new President of the USA. I am considering Trump as the new President of the US, who has the power to promote Bitcoin and make it a new option to USD.

Do you think in the same way as me?

There's most definitely going to be another bull run for Bitcoin
Especially when you consider the recent speech Putin made towards Bitcoin
I believe that was actually the catalyst to Bitcoin hitting 100k
Well, that  aside, it's obvious that next year is going to be a great year for Bitcoin
I can't wait to see how it goes

Still have to give thanks to our President 🫡🫡
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - time to cash out? on: December 05, 2024, 03:54:08 PM
XRP has skyrocketed and I am reading that perhaps it has hit its peak.

Is it time to cash out and reinvest elsewhere (i.e bitcoin) or is this one to HODL?

Op In my opinion, you can just sell a little bit and keep on holding the rest
You never can tell how much potential the coin still has
And this might also be its peak
So, just in case the price eventually goes down, you won't be in total loss because you already took our some profit
20  Other / Archival / Re: The direct reason why Bitcoin cannot exceed $100,000 on: December 05, 2024, 03:03:23 AM
Right when the price of Bitcoin reached $100,000, there are many threads being created about "Bitcoin reaching $100,000".
I mean in just a few minutes after it went up, I think I saw 5 users created a thread already about the significant event. As for you OP, you still have time to lock this thread or delete because like you, I also made a wrong decision. Just a few hours ago, I said that it will not reach this year, but it reached already. Cheesy

I'm bullish about the market, but I didn't expect that Bitcoin will reach $100,000 this year. Well, I admit that I'm wrong with my prediction, but at least I admit it. Most analysts out there can't even admit their wrong predictions. Nevertheless, the 5th of December is a significant date for all of us Bitcoin holders because at last, we saw Bitcoin reaching $100,000 for the first time in history. I don't care about what OP said already. I'm just happy that we have reached the $100,000 mark already.

Now that it already happened, what's next? What's next for Bitcoin.
I respect you for being able to admit that you were wrong and acknowledging your mistakes
