Thanks all!

What are the best settings for the U3 without really taxing the unit? I am just running it without any settings other than stratum - user- and password. Thanx guys!

Are you still affiliated with GAW?
No. I resigned a few weeks ago. And may I ask you WHY... Your HONEST answer will be GREATLY appreciated HERE... Thanks... ZiG I am currently weighing my options on how HONEST I can be at this time... The exit NDA certainly targets such activity.... At the same time, I am aware that certain protections are afforded to people in this situation, so like I said, I am reviewing my options. I will say this much, they were sure quick to lock my resignation thread after the overwhelming positive response it was receiving... Not even sure it exists anymore after my being banned. Just CYA! I wish you well in your future endeavors Eric.

Nice! Now we are decentralized. Oh, wait, PayCon SHOULD be centralized to one pool, lol. Minerpools needs to be in the OP. Done, activity picks up when I sleep. And by sleep I meant talking to major banks. Not little banks, big banks. Ticker symbol? Is CON taken? Not in any coin that I know of or is still around. I have added CON to the OP title and ann post. Nice Thumbs Up, and this coin is growing! Will not move my card from it. This coin may do better then Paycoin!! lmao

Minera is an O/S for the RasPi. It doesn't play well with a lot of hardware. Works great with some, though. I believe it has to do with the USB driver. Everything I've plugged into that RasPi (and two others) gets 95% HW errors or worse. When I changed O/S on the RasPi, it got better - but not great. When I got off of the RasPi and onto other hardware, everything became all peachy and ducky. Is anyone mining SYS using Minera? I have been having a real hard time finding a pool that is compatible with the mining software (and doesn't screw you on the hashrate).
Hey brother........have you tried LifeForce.info? I mined there for a bit the other day and didn't have any probs. I use Minera with my Gridseeds as well. i was on lifeforce earlier this week and there was only me and one other miner with no blocks found 847.46 MH/s. seems okay to me i had an issue with zenminer and minera a few months back. i had shitty sd cards. i went and got some class 10 cards for each of my Pi's and the HW errors went down a lot plus everything started working. its just that my Minera image seems to like to jump from one pool to another. Be sure you are running the latest version of Minera. Look in the upper right corner, there will be a notification if you need a update.

It upsets me Moolah is holding the funds like a hostage. You give a little but get nothing back. Damn terrorists.
They were very quick to withhold funds when things didnt go to plan, so should be equally as responsive at providing the funds when applicable - IE now. As far as i can see the team seem ontop of their game, are continually trying to juggle the dev work/bug fixing, keep us updated and pay for external resources building whilst being stifled by Moolah who appears to be treating them like a naughty child who doesnt deserve their pocket money. Better watch out - they'll have you washing their pots and polishing their shoes next. Moolah needs to step up fast at this stage. We are frustrated and concerned as well. We are trying to be patient but watching the price slide as we wait for funding is certainly tough on the entire team/families (and the community as well I'm sure). We're still working hard on the core code and improvements but have so much waiting to go pending paying people, and so many devs who have jumped on to help us that deserve payment we cannot yet provide. We aren't trying to dump SYS to get the BTC we need to pay these people, we already have it sitting in that fund. I know I am buying up all I can right now with the price being so low. I have been lurking and following this thread and I really believe in this coin!

What does this mean..........
Stratum #1 Vardiff 8 - 2042 stratum+tcp://stratum.syscoin.me:3000 Stratum #2 DIFFICULTY 8 stratum+tcp://stratum.syscoin.me:3008 Stratum #3 DIFFICULTY 64 stratum+tcp://stratum.syscoin.me:3064 Stratum #4 DIFFICULTY 128 stratum+tcp://stratum.syscoin.me:3128 Stratum #5 DIFFICULTY 256 stratum+tcp://stratum.syscoin.me:3256 Stratum #6 DIFFICULTY 512 stratum+tcp://stratum.syscoin.me:3512 Stratum #7 DIFFICULTY 768 stratum+tcp://stratum.syscoin.me:3768 Stratum #8 DIFFICULTY 1024 stratum+tcp://stratum.syscoin.me:4024 Stratum #9 DIFFICULTY 1536 stratum+tcp://stratum.syscoin.me:4536 Stratum #10 DIFFICULTY 2048 stratum+tcp://stratum.syscoin.me:5048
Why the different difficulties? Why would anyone choose the higher difficulty ports?
Each hash calculated by your miner results in a random number. If this random number is below a certain threshold (known as the target), then it can be submitted to the pool and credited. Shares above the target are not submitted. Target and difficulty are inversely proportional to each other (the higher the difficulty, the lower the target). This is why you may sometimes see warnings in your miner about a share being "Above Target". Over long time periods, share difficulty does not matter, and the default of 64 should work fine for anyone. If you have a very high speed miner, please increase your share difficulty to an appropriate setting. You can connect as many miners as you like using a single worker. We suggest the following difficulty setting per worker based on the worker's aggregate hashrate: Scrypt coins: Below 500KH: 32 500+: 64 1000+: 128 2000+: 256 3000+: 384 5000+: 512 10000+: 1024 25000+: 2048 50000+: 4096 100000+: 8192 250000+: 16284 SHA-256 coins: 1-100GH: 8 100GH-500GH: 256 500GH-1TH: 512 1TH+: 1024

Yep. I posted more detailed instructions for everyone a couple days ago. Thing is, it's getting old and it's killing my Solid State Drive. I can relate to that! Running a 1gb ssd here also. I can't wait for the price of the ssd's to drop to the point where they are disposable. The dead icon in the system tray? Nothing happens when I left click, double click, or right click. I have to end process tree via task manager. If I leave it there (I left it there for going on 5 hours now) it just sits there and appears to be looking pretty but not doing anything else. It's not an issue of starting and waiting with the big window waiting to sync. The issue is that it pops up and instantly vanishes to the system tray and lays there. Where it would normally turn from splash screen into the wallet syncing - the splash appears then for maybe 1/10th of a second (a flicker) it is gone. It's the same thing the previous versions were doing. I know how to force it to load, but it's getting annoying to nuke the files over and over. I have a system that is entirely SSD, no the wear on my NAND is a concern, as well. What happens if you double-click on the icon? Can you activate it (with Task Manager -> switch to this task)? Or if you just leave it there for a while, does it then allow you to open it? Sometimes the starting of the wallet takes some time, depending how much it needs to scan upon starting, before it enables the user interface (I have a wallet from a coin that is over 1 year old, if I do a rescan of the wallet with 10,000+ transactions, its user interface can freeze for half hour)
I had the same issue on my Windows 7 box. Click the start button, search for "%appdata%, open the roaming folder, go down to the Syscoin folder and blow everything away EXCEPT the wallet.dat file. Rerun the 0.1.3 wallet and resync. This is what I did and all is good now! I am able to sync, send, receive, etc....

looks like there wont beany refund. sold more than alf my portfolio at a 10% loss. y'all should do the same. It was a disaster. lol
that's sad. I'm buying at 370 sats btw, if anyone wishes to dump. just go ahead. I picked some up at 368! I don't believe it will drop that low again.

how is the general butthurt-level? Everybody above water?
LOL, just fine here!

Great, let's just get this shit out of the way. Can all you weak hands just dump right now all at once? Dump all of it, we'll buy it up at 200 sat and leave you idiots behind. Fucking morons.
People always try to comfort themselves by saying once weak hands finished dumping then strong hands will pump it, do your math then you will know what's really going on. Price dropped from 1000 sat on launch to 400 sat right now, and volume is average 400BTC per day times 3 days, almost 1200 BTC coins traded. So when will 'strong hands' start doing something? lol This coin just keep disappoints me, this dev team is problematic even though they have so called 'code genius'... See you @ 100 sat There are some bodacious orders to fill @ 100!

It's over...we're falling till the ground now Yes, it's dropping like a lead balloon now. I'm gonna buy a truck load. It would be nice if we can buy around 100-200 satoshi before bouncing back. 400 right now at Bittrex
