The MyBitAlert project seems frozen to me now as no new cryptocurrencies nor major altcoin exchanges (bittrex, mintpal, poloniex,...) were added to the service.
This service looked really promising! Is there any update intended in the near future?

Sure, but you only get last 24hours "value % change" for each coin at coinmarketcap.com meaning you may (as a daytrader) be informed too late of a coin value move.
There's also no "volume % change" indicator. Cryptocoin Radar may be used as a complementary service to coinmarketcap.com for specific needs.

Fetching it by visitor would'nt allow steady coin alerts (at this point).
I hope this is not hogging you API server though!
