1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] RibbitRewards - World's first blockchain rewards program [Airdrop is now!] on: February 20, 2015, 06:49:27 AM
When is the release of marketplace.life?

Soon, we are working around the clock to get it there for you guys, to change commerce, and bring change.

As much as I wish I could give an exact date we have learned to not promise and deliver when everything is in working order.
I am hoping that can be a respected decision.
As we get closer I will get word to you all here on the thread.

Thanks Frawgs.

I will ask one of our team who was the OP to change the headline.
Thanks for the heads up.

Hello I wanted to pop in and say that no one is gone and Ribbit is not going away.
We have more dev's than ever and are moving forward. We have something unique which takes time and a lot of talented developers.

Currently we are working on our merchant plugin that will allow other ecommerce sites to implement RibbitRewards into their current system such as Magento, Woocommerce, etc.
This is almost as tough as making the coin itself with it's unique properties.

We are also working on our multi vendor free marketplace marketplace.Life
The marketplace.Life site is looking awesome and will be on par in terms of functionality with Ebay, Amazon, etc.

Please know we are moving and have a very large team and no one is giving up on this project after spending a long long time to get to this point.
Please take a look at our team http://ribbit.me/#team these are not guys that stop on a project. Our team is very well respectyed in the business, programming and cryptocurrency worlds. We are not trying to "pump" our coin here on this forum a lot. We know that we first have to get all the tools in place to make the Ribbit eco-system.

If there are questions like;
"where is the dev?" which one we have ~10.
"are we gone?" no.

"Are we going to dominate and make your Grandma like using stores that implement RibbitRewards for her online shopping,?" yes.

"Will my grandama be limited to using RibbitRewards or other crypto like BTC in order to earn RibbitRewards for her online shopping?" No, she can pay with ANY form that our merchants or marketplace.life accepts like credit cards, paypal, crypto, etc.

"How many products will marketplace.Life have?" Millions.

Keep hopping Frogs and hold on to your lillypads, throttling and ignition on the Frog ship will happen ASAP.
As soon as we can make sure we have a smooth rollout for you, our community...liftoff will initiate.

how many total coins supply is it 200m?

1B at launch 500M per year forever. So since RibbitRewards are part of a Rewards Program we decided to do it this way.

Ok so can you please confirm if it is 200 Million free airdrop, 200 Million paid airdrop and that is it or is it the amount quoted above? All the news articles I read suggest the former?

You bet your Frogs we can confirm.
It is 200 million for both.
200M Free Airdrop + 200M Paid Airdrop = 400 Million reasons to sign up now.

There will be other "mined" RibbitRewards in the future via POT (proof of transaction - buyers, sellers, merchants, *charity) , POW, and there in is the reason why it is not a 1 time distribution of all coins in existence.

Most/All other blockchain assets reward hoarding which drives the value up > whereas RibbitRewards..."rewards" transactions and action.
Via transactions and action RibbitRewards become more attractive.

The goal is for the rest of the world to use the blockchain without forcing them to change anything. They use them because they don't have to do anything different when they buy things, they just know they are getting value for their transaction.
The genesis block will produce 1 Billion.

LeviFrawg.
Hop Forth!

Registered but can anyone confirm me that I will receive Ribbit airdrop even I do not verify my identity?

And, I only get a text file named "RibbitRewards.wallet" with encrypted data. How can I use this "wallet"? It seems actually there is no QT wallet available for download.

Please clarify. Thanks.

Of course you will receive your rewards. Identity verification is ONLY for users participating in the >paid< airdrop. It may seem like a pain but really it is very easy.
This verification legitimizes RibbitRewards for our community and the ever changing regulatory environment.

The wallet file will hold your data like any other browser based wallet.
Once the RibbitRewards are distributed you will receive a link in your email > click > login and your online wallet with then have RibbitRewards waiting for you in all their Frogiliscious glory.
You will then have the option to hold them online or move them over to the RibbitQT wallet.

You will then be able to do as you please with them...one of them will be our free to use ecommerce shopping marketplace named marketplace.Life
Make sure you save your password well.

If you have not participated in the paid airdrop please note that there is several payment types available.
Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin, XRP (Ripples), pre-paid debit cards, credit cards, etc.
It is a very easy process as well.

Hope that helps, LeviFrawg
*a couple of team members use this account in order to get your questions answered, so it may not always be me.

Just wondering if I invite my friends how much will I get for each invited person?

Thanks for asking amacar.
When you refer a friend over to the Ribbit Airdrop you will receive 10% of their RibbitRewards.
The cool part is if that friend then refers someone they know they get 10% of their rewards.
Think of it like referring someone to Dropbox...you get 2 gigbytes more storage for referring a person.
Nobody loses & more of our friends win.
Thank you for your support.

Thanks, we've had over 300 sign ups in the last 24 hours from all over the globe. Keep them coming, no problems with our servers yet... Let's try to crash them!!!

Good job Cancoin. How long do you anticipate being in Beta? Can you say anymore about your marketplace?
Having all the commerce projects. That is a major thing the whole cryptomoney-tech industry is missing... a simple multi sig wallet.
Easy security like multi sig is needed in order to grow user adoption.
These require dead simple tools in order to secure their coins.

Will youcancoin be supporting other coin types with multi sig in the future? Or only BTC?

I look forward to your reply.

Looks like a promising project best of luck.
