We keep hearing that blockchain and decentralized applications (dApps) are the future, but is that really the case? Will decentralization reshape industries, or is it just another tech buzzword that will fade away?
Right now, we’re seeing real-world use cases DeFi, smart contracts, Web3 but at the same time, central authorities aren’t exactly embracing these changes with open arms. If blockchain takes power away from the middlemen, why would they let it happen?
That leads to a bigger question:
If decentralization really takes off, are the people in power going to push back hard?
Will there be consequences for the developers and innovators driving this movement?
Could blockchain itself be at risk of being controlled or limited in some way?
I’m curious to hear your thoughts. Is decentralization unstoppable, or is it heading for major resistance?
