Tomatocage, vod & dooglus.
2  Other / Meta / Re: Does this forum need any more moderators? (28 in total) on: August 25, 2014, 09:37:51 PM
28 staff for a medium sized forum is huge! how come there is so many moderators and I doubt there will any room for many more?

I do not think all 28 are very active, or some Mod's are only for local language section.
They don't have right to moderating the forum other then their language sub forum.

I see well at least 10 of them are proper moderators and thats still a lot for my opinion.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Do People Believe Bitcoin Will Replace Fiat? on: August 25, 2014, 09:27:33 PM
There will still be some people who use fiat currencies.

Would you like me to mail you a letter with more thoughts on this?

Or you could read my editorial in the newspaper the next time you sit down and flip through the pages.

If Bitcoin ever did become mainstream do you really think fiat would still be used?

7  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ask TF thread on: August 25, 2014, 06:48:57 PM
Why would anyone buy a tainted account like his? Granted its a VIP account, I think but with so many negative trust it really isn't worth much, if anything. My coin is that its the real TF, it may not be, but it makes no sense that it wouldn't be..

He's become a celebrity in the Bitcoin world everyone knows of him and thats why is account would be valuable. his account probably would of sold for 20 Bitcoin +++
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The government could destroy Bitcoin on: August 25, 2014, 06:42:38 PM
Maybe I don't understand markets and I'm not the most smartest person here and thats why I wanted to bring my concern up I presented my idea which could potentially harm Bitcoin and I've had some real good answers and thank you all for that but for the ones that didn't contribute at all...then no thanks to you for helping me understand.

thank you dannyhamiltion and franky1 you gave the best arguments which convinced me I was making a stupid assumption that this was possible.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we have too many alt coins? on: August 25, 2014, 06:36:26 PM
alt coins are probably the future they have time to evaluate the current system of Bitcoin and when/if it fails get to design their product around the vulnerabilities of Bitcoin I think you will appreciate the time given from the developers in the future.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The government could destroy Bitcoin on: August 25, 2014, 06:28:41 PM
hmmm never thought of this. But government will sell to whom??? They will become even more expensive because government can only hold them and the demand for btc is increasing it will only increase the price of btc not reduce it

They wouldn't sell them their purpose is to destroy Bitcoin because it's a threat it doesn't have to be the government either it could be a bank they want fiat money and not Bitcoin bitcoin is a threat and I think the majority of the attacks came from banks in the early days of Bitcoin.

AND if it did drive up the price first of all like you said it would come crashing down if this was done in a small amount of space people might be afraid of investing in Bitcoin....
thus effectively killing it.
I'm just raising a concern I've had and would love to see Bitcoin succeed but I should imagine the banks and te government have enough money or resources to require a lot of the Bitcoin money either from seizing or buying a large amount of Bitcoin.

The government have intelligence behind them and some of the best hackers in the world and I think they would be able to gain access to the majority of the exchangers and could compromise the Bitcoin stored in them or they could simply take legal action against them
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / The government could destroy Bitcoin (debunked) on: August 25, 2014, 06:14:10 PM
If the government really wanted to fuck Bitcoin they would only need to folk out a few million and buy out most of the Bitcoin in existence right now and Bitcoin would become worthless. they see it has a threat so this is going to happen if we like it or not. They have a plan and this is probably it. theres only 13 million in existence right now thats like a few billion dollars right? the government can afford that. All they would have to do is buy anonymously and offer 10% more than the current price peoples greed would take over and it would then be fucked Bitcoin would become worthless in less than a week.

unless we have a way of protecting this? did not think so.
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: why people scare to show their identity if they are doing legal on: August 25, 2014, 06:03:55 PM
people have a right to keep their identity to there selves if they are speaking to people on the internet they don't know or trust.
13  Other / Meta / Re: Been Pissing me off lately, anyone else? on: August 25, 2014, 05:56:37 PM
Well I mean like I've seen tons of posts before with sketchy links and it's like >.o come on. Then everyone else calls it spyware or something to steal your wallet.
If you don't report how can you complain about it? If you see any thing which is against the guidelines, report it and quit complaining. The thing is the moderators can't act on something if they don't know about it.

BiPolarBob GOT A 30 DAY BAN because he was giving away LTC in a "giveaway not allowed section" OK
Even, though "BiPolarBob" was doing a great thing, he still broke one of the rules which is quite clear and precise. Being the greatest user on the forum which has donated hundreds of dollars doesn't make the exempt from the rules. It's like saying someone donated millions to charity but, then stole from a old lady should not be put in prison. (Of course it could be anyone not just a old lady I did that because people react more severely too more vulnerable people for some silly reason)

Quote from: Jaaawsh
YOU DON'T FUCKING LET THERE BE GIVEAWAYS BUT THE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS SCAMMED DAILY ON HERE IS OKAY USERS NEVER GET BANNED FOR THAT!?
I fully support why the staff don't ban scammers, people need to stop relying on others and use your own initiative and intelligence.

Note: It's not that I'm against "BiPolarBob" he actually did a really nice thing for me and Arklan, but that doesn't change the fact a rule was broken.

The funny thing about this is you probably don't report yourself and because you are a hero member you thought your opinion counts more than anyone else...just a bipolarbob hater thats all you are the OP has a good point. he should not be banned as he has been giving away $$$$$ and not asking anything for return.
