Hi

btc-alerts.com is a new service offering user-configurable alerts on bitcoin price changes.

Alerts are delivered immediately to your mobile phone in an SMS message, as soon as the mtgox price crosses your chosen amount.

We will be launching very soon, but you can register your interest now to be notified when the service goes live, and for access to our private beta test.

Feel free to post any comments/questions here and we will do our best to answer.

If disk is gox's bottleneck, get some damn SSDs already! Yesterday's profits alone would buy a multi-TB RAID

IF Gox is using a Relational Database that will be their bottleneck, I'd hope they are using a more sensible database system though, there are many non-relational systems much more suited to the job.

8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: SVN -> GIT Script on: August 16, 2012, 08:01:18 AM
Is there any reason that you need to mirror the repository on Github, Github supports SVN so couldn't you run an svn2git tool (https://help.github.com/articles/importing-from-subversion) and then use https://github.com/blog/1178-collaborating-on-github-with-subversion for the SVN users?

OR if you want to use git but MUST have it backed by SVN (company policy or something) why not look at http://learn.github.com/p/git-svn.html .

I tried most of these yesterday and only actually received coins from a couple (not sure which as I didn't think to set up a different address for each), most of them don't seem to have paid out after 24 hours so I presume they won't be.

Oh well, free coins are free!

Your transaction will be at the end of the block chain, when all the blocks are downloaded your transaction should show up, until then you just need to leave the program open until it had finished downloading.
