I suspect the dev will have answers in the morning for this. I do apologize my postings my be risking the future of your investment, however all I seek is information as I too can see potential in a coin like this and many other crypto's in the future.

Funny how you went from "Oh, I see the potential in this coin and just want some information"

To Crusader Of Truth And Justice putting down the EEEEEEEEEVIL DeltaNine with cute little pictures you wrote on.

Amazing transformation in just one day's time.

Lots of disturbing information and very shady reactions from the CANN DeltaNineDev place my position.

So get rid of your coins and GO AWAY back under the rock u came from

NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOU POSTING SAME SHIT OVER AND OVER

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The truth about CannaCoin (CCN) on: October 22, 2014, 03:53:34 AM

The whole fact that CCN has put in this much effort to FUD and try to find any reason to talk down CANN is pure comedy..Well done Delta9 and CANN team your obviously a big thorn in some ones side Smiley

Why is the Dev last post from Ocober 15? Where is he?

He is busy setting up the #YESWECANN party tomorrow.

I don't think being on bitcointalk is his main concern. Although, there have been many comments discussed on this thread about how he can improve this event.

Use the new thread at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=827998.120

Funny thing is if people took the time to read back through the thread they would see that cann is not limited to Arizona... Delta9 is all over the place so some posts are quite amusing the 20th is the FIRST of  many  events i do believe they were called Smiley

So tokyopotato is from CCN? lol that figures. In here trying to discredit this coin, instead of promoting your own and the industry as a whole is a petty, immature course of action.

^^  I agree 100%

Just want to add that CANN DEV TEAM is worth its weight in gold  Smiley Smiley

I called Nick, the original Potcoin dev two weeks ago and we discussed this very issue.  The Potcoin team is well aware of the legal issues surrounding crypto and River Rock dispensary in Colorado is taking a very cautionary approach to accepting cryptocurrencies for Cannabis.  Once you start accepting crypto for Cannabis in a retail business, you are putting yourself under Federal jurisdiction as a money transmitter.

There are already tons of shops in America that accept crypto as payment.

http://www.bitcoinvalues.net/who-accepts-bitcoins-payment-companies-stores-take-bitcoins.html

Call me paranoid, but your posts are sounding a little bit negative toward cannabiscoin lately.

Am I wrong here?

I agree, it will be the exact same thing as bitcoin. So this should be the same way for Cann. Why would cann be a money transmitter when bitcoin is not, unless your taking about the exchanges that have fiat to btc. I really dont see a problem here.
It seems like bullshit to me also, why did you take such negative approach towards cann suddenly and admiting how potcoin is aware of that problem but cann developers not?

 This ^^

Is this just for Arizona, or are there plans to expand into other states?

DeltaNine has introduced his Brother "GreenNinja" / "ChinoGreen'  Depends on where you have met him.

They were both in San Diego over the weekend having MMJ talks with other business owners in the area.

Very strange indeed, maybe it has nothing to do about it, but I just did a "large" buy at bittrex and sent my funds back to my wallet
Everything looks good on bittrex side :
Code:
08/28/2014 11:14:37 PM	CANN	31267.83728048	Completed

    Address: CKrYWyR8kUh1TXnbaF6WMh9rv37Ls53r8C
    TxId: 684554baeca5567fe6796de9e67afd3b1dd41d191912c6bb326273ae6004f9c5
but still, nothing in my wallet Sad
I did the transfer before the bug and it should have been included in the blockchain by now

If you are waiting for your withdraws  from Bittrex to show up in your wallet after Bittrex has said every thing is done..Check Site Status on Bittrex to see when the last block was seen for CANN... If its a long block it wont show straight away in your wallet.. just be patiant it will show Bittrex just needs to see new blocks is all..No i dont work for Bittrex but has happened to both a few of my friends and myself..its not a problem you just got to wait for new blocks to hit Bittrex Hope this helps  Cool

I have thought about this quite a lot, I still think 10 CANN/g is the best peg in the current crypto economy. 1 CANN I think will be too ambitious, it won't be able to hit nor sustain parity and all the scam accusations will come flying.

10 CANN/g put the current coin count under $100m market cap, which can be sustainable. The simple fact is the crypto sphere is not large enough yet, let alone the altcoin sphere, let alone the altcoin sphere interested in Cannabis to sustain anything over $100M cap due to miner dumps. Logic would dictate that if it was "valued" at ~$15 per cann people wouldn't sell for much less, miners will. There needs to be enough people buying PER DAY to counteract miners and traders selling for a profit, and there isn't enough money in altcoins to do so. The ambitious nature of 1 CANN/g might bring more customers in obviously, I still don't think it will be enough.

For those wanting a profit from holding, 10 CANN/g is still 100x roughly from here, and about 5000x from the starting price.

Voting for 10 CANN/g, just saying

CANN is already approaching $500k market cap and it is still in very early stages,Due to he fact that people will be able to use CANN to purchase just about anything from the dispensaries not just Cannabis itself plus the fact that the Dev team are reaching out to other states to adopt CANN 1cann/g sounds very doable not to mention if it gets adopted by other countries as well all in good time

 My 2 CANNS  Grin

As the Devs said and i totally agree ..CANN is limitless

I think a floating exchange rate, rather than pegged, is the way to go For CANN / CANNdy g

What happens if/when growers in Canada, Europe and other places adopt CANN in a similar way?

Demand  and prices in BTC could skyrocket.

I would look at.....

- initial (floating) exchange rate of 10 CANN = 1 gram CANNdy

Later, when CANN becomes more widely adopted, and demand increases significantly, the CANN/g could be reduced.
EG., 5 CANN/g, 2 CANN/g and eventually 1 CANN/g

This would have 2 advantages over pegged rate...
1... Cost in real terms could be stabilized
2....Early adopters/holders would see the increased demand reflected in increased value of CANN they already hold.

Edited to add....

The more I think about it... I think pegging the price is a bad idea.
Sure... In a closed system where CANNdy is the only product range available....
But not in a global market where CANNdy may be only one if many products, from many suppliers are the world, available.

I am happy to bet that a permanent pegged rate would be changed within one year when CannabisCoin begins to see adoption by 3rd party suppliers..

This! +1.
crypto is crypto, it has legs of it's own, why tie it to any afk thing, whether it's gold, oil, urea, ganj? trust in the power of the people and let a gram of your best rise to it's own level

I thought the whole point was for it to be directly tied to CANNdy
All in all i am sure the devs will make the right decision

I have been mining and reading forums since the first day of the coin turning to x11 and this is my first post so would like to say GREAT WORK DEVS  Smiley Smiley Smiley keep up the awesomeness Grin
