Now the Inter vs Sassuolo match has also started! Who knows how it will end. I would bet on Inter winning tonight.
Inter Milan finally won after dominating the game for most minutes of the game. After that goal from Cheddira I thought Sassuolo would be able to equalize the goal but they couldn't do anything. Inter Milan have now won 2 games from 4 games having lost 2 too. From the look of things, inter Milan mightn't be in the top 4 position for this season unless something happens and they pick up form or other clubs starts performing badly. Juventus and Napoli are without a loss this season and they'll be looking to continue that form for next weekend games meanwhile Inter Milan has already lost 2 games. Inter Milan showed a dominant performance today against Sassuolo at San siro, and they got rewarded by winning the game. Although it was not an easy win even though inter Milan opened the scoring in the first half and were also able to double their lead in the second half, but sassuolo put on a fighting spirit too and they got a late goal towards the last minutes of the game to make it 2:1. I think is rather too early to say that inter Milan wouldn’t make the top 4 this season and also looking at their performance tonight I think they have all it takes to make it to the top 4 or perhaps win the league. Talking about a possible fourth place for Inter is truly depressing. We're at the start of the season, only four matchdays have been completed, and Inter are just three points off second place. Anything is still possible! It's true they've started the season terribly, but they're still on the train that leads to the Champions League spots.

I think that the team is working well with Fabregas, who has done an incredible job with the team they provided him. Of course, there has been no lack of investment, but he is still an excellent coach who has led a team to victory. We never forget that.
Yes, but it would still have been a gamble for Inter; they certainly wouldn't have invested time and money in an established manager! I don't doubt that Cesc Fabregas has done an excellent job with Como so far; in fact, his work deserves praise, but Como is not Inter. Inter has certain ambitions, while Como has others. To be fair, when you are in the middle of the season, convincing other managers to take on the squad that was built by someone else is not easy. So in many cases, you do not see any high level manager switch jobs middle of the season, they either start with a team or they wait. Look at Xavi, dude won La Liga with Barcelona and still jobless, you think he got no offers? Of course he did, but didn't want to risk it. Chivu was the best they could get with whatever they had, and I am sure that they would not do anything crazy further. Chivu is a known parameter and they are aware who they are getting because he has been with them for so long, so they know how to control him and what they want out of him this season. Chivu, however, arrived this summer just before the Club World Cup began. Inter had little time to find a new coach for a very important match. The Cesc Fabregas soap opera lasted a long time, to be honest. I would have preferred a different coach than Chivu, but we'll see if I'm wrong about him at the end of the season.

What a Rome derby, guys! My goodness, it was a truly beautiful match to watch, even if the result was very close. Roma won 0-1 against Lazio and now has 9 points in the standings.
Now the Inter vs Sassuolo match has also started! Who knows how it will end. I would bet on Inter winning tonight.

Oh yes! You're absolutely right, mate... Mr Chivu is still too green to take on such a tough challenge, leading a big Serie A team. But I want to say one thing: he got off to a bad start in the league, but he always stood by his ideas, and even though Inter lost, they never disgraced themselves and always played well. They just lack that final bit of ruthlessness! That fighting spirit! La cazzimm!!
Ah, I'm glad you think like me. I thought that Inter fans, since they were fans, didn't understand the reality of things. they sold you a "reserve" coach to save money I know very well that the first objective was Fabregas, probably postponed to next year, certainly indeed. Exactly, it was unfortunately a choice made for convenience, and the results do not disprove this hypothesis. The good thing is that the team is playing well, but playing well and not getting satisfactory results is not a good sign! Would Fabregas have been the best coach available? And he too has little experience! I would have preferred Sarri or Allegri to succeed Inzaghi. I agree with you! I have nothing against Cesc Fabregas, but coaching Como would not be the same as coaching Inter. In Milan, they expect any coach who arrives to bring success, and Cesc Fabregas could have ruined his career immediately in this sense. Did you see what happened to Thiago Motta? He had an excellent year at Bologna, but when he went to Juventus, they immediately ruined him! Cesc Fabregas would have suffered the same fate.

Bel post seguo, grazie Ace!

Esiste ancora Punto Informatico?

Last updated: Thursday 18th September 2025 at 21:59:04 Source: https://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/champions-league/league-tableIs still early but that is. This is the leaderboard so far. There were some really exciting matches to watch in this first round of the Champions League, but as an Italian, I'm only half happy. The Italian teams only brought home four points: three points with Inter's victory and one point with Juventus' draw against Borussia Dortmund. Unfortunately, Napoli and Atalanta had a really tough first match. Let's hope for a better round in the next matches.

Inter made a super good management this week in the Champions League game on Netherlands, for example they give Lautaro Martinez a full rest and some other players also ddint need to take part on the game and they ended up winning easily, so they have now a full squad for this gameweek of Serie A.
Let's say that in the end he is working but we are far from the levels of last season, I don't understand the reason honestly I have to investigate with the statistics For me the fact remains that Chivu is not suitable as a coach for teams like this sorry, I have to say it I totally agree with you, it's true that Inter managed to win the European Champions League game, which may even show that the new coach is already used to the squad and perhaps the bad phase has passed, but in Serie A, the games will be complicated and he doesn't have great achievements in Serie A, which will make it difficult for him, because the coaches of other Serie A teams are experienced and have a good squad, I'm talking about Napoli and Milan, there's also Juventus where the coach came last season, so he already has some experience in Serie A.
today we have this game Lecce - Cagliari my guess is that cagliari will win this game Serie A is a very difficult league, unfortunately. Chivu coaches a great team and everyone has their eyes on him because everyone expects Inter to win every match. But the reality is different. Chivu is always under pressure from the media, and in fact, he verbally attacks some journalists in every interview. I am sure that Inter will not win the championship this year. The team is currently a work in progress, and Inter is the only team that has not strengthened itself as it should have done. The only two signings I have liked so far are Pio Esposito and Sucic. However, for me, Lecce vs. Cagliari will be a draw. Both teams need to accumulate points to avoid relegation.

I must say that Inter fans in Italy are the ones who consider themselves football fans first and foremost, rather than just fans of their favourite team. It's admirable! They take huge blows and don't complain. Cesc Fabregas didn't really impress me that much. It's true that he had a good season with Como, but he would have been a repeat of Thiago Motta. It was better for everyone that Inter signed Chivu and not him. Chivu knows the environment, he's worked there for many years.

Right now, I don't see the right drive or the kind of play that suggests they can do better. However, that doesn't mean they'll start making better plays between now and the next few games (so they're already well-oiled), and realistically speaking, they could even seriously reach the podium. The road is still long, so it's difficult to even predict a result. Needless to say, I'd like to see my Juventus on the podium, but unfortunately, I don't think the expectations are good this year either. I don't have a good feeling; as you say, they lack the determination to finish the result. Maybe it's just my impression. For me, Inter is a work in progress! It's still difficult to identify. The team is strong, there's no denying that, but the person at the helm is different from last season! Everything is unknown. Juventus, on the other hand, is in a different situation! Yes, they have a manager who has never won anything, but he already has a lot of experience in Serie A because he has already coached a few Serie A teams. Rather than a work in progress, they are currently in a running-in phase, and I see them as much better than Inter.

Juventus have finally gotten a coach that's capable of bringing back victory to the club again after several years of failure. Igor Tudor is an experience coach and knows how to fix the club. We can see that from their performance this season, how Juventus has become a club that wouldn't accept defeat but rather prefer to fight for a draw or win the match. Juventus's performance is quite impressive and commendable this season. I haven't seen Juventus performed this way in the Serie A in a long time, which makes me agree with you that Juventus has found themselves the coach that's capable of bringing the change they have been looking for a long time. Even though Juventus didn't win the Scudetto this season, I am quite certain they will finish in a better position in the Serie A this season than they did in the past 4-5 seasons. It seems to be working but in my opinion it's still too early to say if it really works. Even last year with Thiago Motta Juventus wasn't doing too badly, he didn't score goals but he was very strong in defence eh I remember that he basically didn't concede goals Exactly! Only three matches have been played this season! It's still too early to say whether Igor Tudor is the right coach to get them back to winning ways, after all, there are only 35 matches left What is certain is that Juventus seem more solid in attack but less efficient in defence, so the risk of something going wrong along the way is very high.

Without forgetting that they are subjected to considerable physical exertion for many consecutive years. You reach a certain age when your body itself tells you to stop because an injury could be more serious at a certain age. Players used to retire between the ages of 33 and 35, but now they are pushed to 40 and beyond.
exactly, so it's already a miracle that he's playing at this age so Unfortunately it becomes like cars, the older they get the greater the risk that they will break down. very normal, so at a certain point it is not convenient for the team or the player who risks getting seriously hurt It's already a miracle that he's still playing at such a high level and putting in so much effort. And despite his age, he was decisive in the last match he played. But how long can he continue to be decisive? That's a really big unknown... It reminds me of when Luis Figo arrived at Inter. Everyone thought he was past his prime, but instead he played at a high level for quite a few years. It's a shame he retired the year Inter won their last Champions League.

Modric still has the ability even at 40. I remain optimistic, but I'm worried about his physique, which due to his age, makes him prone to injury. That's my only concern. However, I am still disappointed with Tijjani Reijnders' departure until now.
over all, I don't mind modric age, especially since Milan often win titles even with players over 30. The last time they won Serie A was with Giroud. In the past, they won the Champions League when the average age of the players was over 30 yo.
yes now with frequent and heavy training they can even reach 40, but his career is over let's be clear I remember that Pavel Nedved also used to work hard with training, but there comes a point where your body simply gives out regardless of how much training you do. Without forgetting that they are subjected to considerable physical exertion for many consecutive years. You reach a certain age when your body itself tells you to stop because an injury could be more serious at a certain age. Players used to retire between the ages of 33 and 35, but now they are pushed to 40 and beyond.

It's true how stronger Juventus are looking this season than how it were for them in the just concluded season that saw Napoli to the league title. But then, there's still a piece missing in the improvement of Juventus which they have to quickly close in on before it gets too late. Juve defense isn't as strong as it should, looking at their last league game with Inter Milan they conceded many goals despite winning the game at the last minutes, and to the UCL against Dortmund similar goals spree repeated. This isn't same with Napoli's defense.
This is the opposite of Juventus last season. That season, their defense was very strong but their attack was too weak. Now, they have a sharp attack but a poor defense. However, with the Serie A season only a few games underway, I'm confident they can overcome that weakness and compete fiercely for the Scudetto, as that's their only weakness right now. Juventus spent a lot of money in the summer transfer market, so it would be illogical not to think that this Juventus team will try to win the Scudetto. As you pointed out, Juventus has a more prolific attack this year than last year. We will see if Tudor can handle the situations that arise.

The Champions League will kick off in a few days. I think many people are very excited to watch this most prestigious football event, especially in Europe. Personally, I can't wait to see what this competition has to offer. Furthermore, in the first week, I think there will be a lot of matches to be played, and it will definitely be very exciting. There are several matches in the first week that you definitely shouldn't miss. These matches include: - Bilbao vs Arsenal
- Juventus vs Dortmund
- Real Madrid vs Marseille
- Bayern vs Chelsea
- PSG vs Atalanta
- Liverpool vs Atletico Madrid
- Barcelona vs Newcastle
I think these matches are definitely matches we shouldn't miss. I'm sure these matches will be very tense and will also be a test of technique and strategy. So, with that in mind, I think these matches are not to be missed. So, I want to ask you all if you have any predictions for these matches. Because to be honest, I'm still a little confused about which teams to bet on in this first week. Exactly, mate, on the 16th the Champions League kicks off again and in the first round of matches we'll have quite a few prestigious matches to choose from. I don't even know which one to watch because they're all more or less equally important.
