i'll have updated macosx build instructions too, someone can run through it. Would allow anyone on macosx to build their own libraries at will.

Hi, in early 2014 i invested some money into crypto. I came across FLT and bought some on various Exchanges. One of them was Mintpal. Shortly after Bitcoin and FLT even more crashed and i lost interest. So i left the coins on the exchange and kind of forgot abot them (pretty stupid i know). Last year when Cryptos went on their run i remembered and checked what was left. Unfortunatly most of the exchanges from 2014 where closed. But i found an old e-Mail from 2014 about FLT (see below). I guess they are long gone now, but i figured it couldnt hurt to ask. Best Regards, Daniel DM me your email that was used at the time (you will still need access so I can verify ownership), let's see if they are in the cold wallet. User 'TeamFLT' has not chosen to allow messages from newbies. You should post in their relevant thread to remind them to enable this setting. try now

Forks were successful, interest reduced to 5% annually as seen on flt.presstab.pw.
Macosx needs new client, initial attempts to compile failed, and will require changes in the build process. Dev team has two macbooks to work through the issues. Hopefully not much longer.
At block 1410000 PoS reward increases to 20flt enabling satisfactory mining rewards inline with PoS rewards.
Proof of Transaction is occurring frequently. We are looking at a separate option for short term rewards for holders of the coin. I do like the MN idea, however, because we use dynamic block rewards on PoS this does not work with the existing masternode.pro or masternode.online type system, as it can vary on the reward. I also like fluttercoin to be as easy to use as possible, and utilizing a MN VPS type system, causes lots of issues for the average user and is not a simple system to utilize. I do like the cold reward part of it.
Current idea is to generate rewards based on an address hold. The benefit for this is similar to MN but the benefit is that these blocks can actively stake so you get the full stake reward + PoT rewards. We are considering allow the community to vote for the hold amount. Obviously like MN the more masternodes the less frequent the rewards will be so having a larger hold level would be ideal. I also am considering creating a sliding hold scale, meaning that initially so it may be .1% of the coin, which means currently address would need 450k, then as coin increases, the .1% will adjust and you will need additional coins to get the extra rewards, so if coins are at 460m, you'll need 460k. These are not decided and won't be worked out until we have working code prototype.
After this fork reduction, i need more flutter!

I look updated the site http://fluttercoin.mehow long does the maturing of coins take? The found coins are involved in the stake? 30 day maturity, requires long term holding. We are working on a short term reward system for holders with >xx amount. --o

my new user for bitcointalk, my other "ofeefee" got jacked, and can't find support to help. Password recovery doesn't work, assume email was changed with the password, was complex one too. Why i use 2FA on everything...

Love looking at the graphs! Thanks for those, I like what I see. Working on a few other places to trade at, be small exchanges just to get this a little more liquid, open it up to others. Give someone arbitrage, and some market redundancy, join us in discord. if anyone has internal exchange contacts, dm me, front door isn't always the fastest. --o

please! please update OP! its very easy very important + ***MANDATORY*** update is now available via github.
If updating from github, should we checkout master or v0.7.5.21-flt ? Thanks. Master and 0.7.5.21 are the same at the moment. Currently any work is done in a test branch to avoid issues with users that compile master.

i have requested additional updates for coinmarketcap, most information there is valid and up to date after last request. Circulating supply is outdated and is affecting our marketcap which should be +4million now.

What kind of stupid coin is that? Women sticking their tongues out and now naked butts with butterflies? This is sexist. Dump this shitcoin to the ground people.
You're not wrong it does need to be changed, if you were in discord I volunteered you for the "men of flutter". --o

I was trying to do a bit of research on FlutterCoin and the first thing I found was this ANN: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=509499.0It has a lot of misinformation related to FLT. Can it be removed? I finally found this ANN through CoinMarketCap along with all the up to date and relevant information. The other thread could be a turn off for any "would-be" investors. That is an issue, as it outdated websites not hosted by us. We need to fix these, suggestions for it?

Testing on testnet is almost complete. We are finalizing a few things and double checking some of the code changes. Happy New Years Eve to all, commits to master should be coming next week, and it will be a MANDATORY update.
Current dates have moved a bit due to some additional testing. soft fork is January 31, 2018 //clients < protocol 70014 will be rejected hard fork adjust of rewards is February 7, 2018 //a reward reduction for PoS to 5% block 1410000 a reward increase to PoW to 20flt, this brings PoT on PoW to 1FLT, before it was .05flt which is ridiculous, even 1FLT is tiny, but I like the whole number.
--To put this in perspective, the Proof of Stake reward reduction will make the coin much less inflationary than it is currently. Many times we are >33% currently. --Proof of Work reward has barely any impact vs our Proof of Stake reward
For those asking there is not a MAX coin cap, kidcoin did not include it and based on the purpose of Fluttercoin it is reward sharing, can't do this without rewards. Initially you may think this to be an issue, but after seeing the effects on coins lately, i don't think max coins makes a different anymore. Our reduction values definitely puts us on a more sustainable track and allows investors to calculate ROI appropriately.
This probably should have been done for the past two years, but for our long time holders, thank you for sticking around and staking coins, the network has been good. Time to get some more updates done.
For the newcomers check out discord link in the OP. New graphics are being finalized. And yes we will push for a few more exchanges too once we get cryptopia on the new client and we get past the hard fork (i don't see this as a huge issue, but i know many like trading at different sites)
Enjoy your NYE!

Thanks ofeefee for all the hard work. I am a long term holder of FLT, haven't posted on this forum in a long time (today I realized my bitcointalk account has been hijacked ... so here I am with a brand new account just to post this ) Couple of quick thoughts, that have been on my mind: 1. Somehow we need the google search to show this thread instead of the old (locked) thread. 2. You need to integrate the term "cash back" in the promotion of this coin (also in title of this thread). It's a term people are used to and possibly resonate with normal people very well. 3. After the fork hopefully we can be back on Bittrex, that would help spread the word about this coin. Thanks Again Happy New Year All ! cash back? you mean flutter back baby!
