Yes but we have to wait for a few weeks.
There is some chance becouse Bitsend is not criminals business I know.
If community takes over then with the funds left and there are funds left I know.
Not communication is not very nice but it is not a crime and can have good reasons.
I hope we know more in a week, if not I go persononaly to Dronten and ask what is the status and ask for handover the remaining funds.
Are you going to go visit Bitsend and talk to them? |

The only weird thing I didnt really understand in this scam, was that how easy it was to trace back identity of the scammers , up to their fb account,etc. I doubt these identities were also faked. It is so bizarre to jeopardize both a fresh inc. Company and identity reputation as such.

Bitsend said they were going to come back within 20 days with an updated report. It has been 20 days and still nothing....

According to Bitsend they said they will respond before the 23rd. So it is the 23rd. Will they respond? We will see. If they don't then you can pretty much say they ran away from the project and lied to us. |

I'm sure they will respond when they are ready and not when you are done counting. the announce will be pretty much something like "Dear Community, Our fundraising did not meet our expected goals and expectations. All our "discussions" were fruitful in terms of ideas, yet disappointing in terms of partnerships establishments This restricts our possibilities to proceed forward with the development and geolocation features without the required funding resources. We keep faith in the project and look forward the future of our concept" Thank you "An yes we scammed you hard from day one, keep believeing we might consider doing a round 2 ipo and scam you harder until our round 3 (that is goign to be all about version 2 before version one is out but this is a secret, sht) " I must say I hated you when I was ultra bullish on CKC, but I find your post hilarious and spot on. The cake was fine, I've had a piece. The idea was good and can still happen.
Funds got worth less because of falling Bitcoin price, they could not afford a highskilled developer anymore so they look for other opportunities with remaining funds.
That sums it up pretty much. Face the facts like a man. No need to start accusing people.
Yes but it's counterproductive for them to not have it developed on time. See, if they are holding Checkcoins and actually worked on the software, then the price of Checkcoin would rise. Win for them and a win for investors. Let's say the software was release last month, would the price be this low? No, it would be a lot higher, which they could have sold their Checkcoins for BTC. This makes me believe that they are not holding any Checkcoins. ATM it seems like they couldn't care less about the price of this coin. Also, isn't the whole point of having an IPO is to raise capital to start the project? Shouldn't they have sold the BTC for fiat once they acquired it from the investors? |

I never thought they have no responsibility
They said they will never abandon the project...so maybe they might start working on it in 40 or 60 years from now which means they didn't scam/lie to us...remember, this is a long term project. |

And on this first meeting on November I was impressed and I still am on the ideas they have and the plans for the future.
Ok it takes more time then planned but the idea is good and time is always there.
So I invested and I hold my coins for the future profit and development.
When are they going to update us? Eduard said today this evening. Well it's already 9:30pm in the Netherlands...Looks like another delay  |

Community takeover = dead coin It's the alt coin cycle: Welcome to [Insert generic name here] coin - "different from other coins" - promises amazing features - big dump - release dates not met - devs need more time, excuses - no response from devs? <--- we are here- community take over - coin dead If you followed other coins you know exactly what I am talking about. I sold most of my coins and I am happy about that. I am just still upset that this kind of bs happens all the time. The community of Checkcoin should not be afraid that the Team of Bitsend will ever leave this project before finishing it.

I think we should just let the natural law of crypto decide whether CKC lives or dies. Personally I'm gonna keep my coins even if they reach 0 sat, not because I'm hoping the value will bounce back but because I always meant to stick with CKC to the end. It is totally understandable that some would prefer to cut losses before that happens though. As for exchanges, even if we lose Bittrex, we're likely to remain on Cryptsy for a very long time, they very rarely remove coins and they're one of the oldest and most trusted altcoin exchanges out there. I think people who are still hoping to get rich with CKC should get out now and recoup some of their investment, this phase is only for those who've got no expectations and nothing to lose. You can always get back in if ever CKC bounces back If it gets removed and devs don't respond it is over... The community of Checkcoin should not be afraid that the Team of Bitsend will ever leave this project before finishing it.
