1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as an Open Sport on: September 30, 2025, 11:56:55 PM
or do you think it could create pressure and FOMO that ruins good decision-making amongst the traders.
This depends on the conditions; some competitions have fairer conditions for winning. For example, the winner is determined based on the P&L ratio. But this is rare; most often, it's based on volume. Small traders must chase significant profits to secure a position in the race, which can compromise their own strategies.
Yeah, actually came across one based on PnL few months ago, I think on Bitget and also came across this trading competition on it too. And one thing I always do is try. Though we might be retail traders but as long as we making those trades and consistently making profits, it will definitely go a long way as a win-win situation in the challenge.
2  Economy / Speculation / BTC Steady at $114K While Shutdown Looms on: September 30, 2025, 10:44:24 PM
Bitcoin is holding around $114K despite a ~2% dip earlier. With the U.S. government shutdown risk tonight, volatility is on the table. Meanwhile, China launched its AxCNH yuan stablecoin in Kazakhstan, and the SEC is weighing blockchain-based stock trading.

I’m watching for either a BTC breakout above $117K or a pullback to $110K. Altcoins could rotate if BTC stays flat.
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exploring Stock Trading With Futures on: September 30, 2025, 01:44:30 PM
As a crypto trader, ever tried taking advantage of trading stocks ?
The question you want to ask is that 'have we traded tokenized stocks before'. A good example is the TSLAX (a tracker certificate issued on Solana SPL and ERC20 tokens) that tracks the price of TSLA which is the Tesla stock. I have seen it on exchanges like MEXC and Gate, but I have not traded them for now. I will try to trade them on the exchange and see how they are, but that will be later.
Yes, I didn't clarify that, I meant 'tokenized stocks' and I actually tested $TSLA on Bitget and it even had some extra perks running where active traders could get bonus shares on top, which made it a nice add-on while trading. And for me, who was testing the waters, the perks was at the right time.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Could RWA adoption be a long-term trend ? on: September 30, 2025, 01:29:39 PM
Following the rise of RWA tokenization, I've been watching them closely and honestly, it feels like one of the most solid narratives in crypto currently. We’ve seen NFTs, memecoins, and GameFi hype cycles fade away with time but RWA narrative might be positioned to stand the test of time.

If RWAs can actually keep up with the momentum they already have, I see them as a strong contender in this space. Recently saw OpenEden tokenizing T-Bills and even issuing a yield-bearing stablecoin backed 1:1 by those T-Bills. Seeing it even crossed 200M TVL shows a huge shift.

To me, this looks like the kind of infrastructure that could finally bring DAOs, institutions, and everyday DeFi users into safer yield strategy. Will RWA-backed assets actually catch on Or will traders still stick with high-risk meme-coins and perpetuals for faster gains ?
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Exploring Stock Trading With Futures on: September 29, 2025, 09:26:45 AM
After Elon Musk made that $1billion shares of $TSLA, we all saw the stock rose more than 6% that Monday. Currently even considering stacking some before the stock climbs again but I've been trading it for the time being.

Though I prefer trading spot to play safe considering I trade crypto primarily but trying stock futures trading was not bad after trying, tested with $TSLA at first to capitalize on the hype then a couple others including $NVDA just to expand my horizons since I could trade both crypto and stocks on the exchange. And each trade brings me close to win extra shares. As a crypto trader, ever tried taking advantage of trading stocks ?
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Yield-Bearing Stablecoins: Would They Deliver ? on: September 27, 2025, 09:15:42 PM
Following this wave of new stablecoins in the market, it's clear they aren’t just fiat-backed anymore. New projects are experimenting with tokens that earn yield by using arbitrage strategy and staking rewards.

The upside seems great, passive returns while holding a “stable” asset. But regulation is catching up. In the U.S. and EU, rules now limit stablecoin issuers from paying direct interest which could result to these projects changing direction. And of course, Terra/UST is a reminder of how things can collapse when yield promises go too far.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Which other have long term potential beyond these four ? on: September 25, 2025, 11:50:52 PM
Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and probably XRP are taking the main spot. But the crypto market is obviously far bigger than just the top few.
I’m curious, which altcoins do you believe have the fundamentals or narratives to make them worth holding in the coming cycle ?
Whether it’s RWA, AI or DeFi ecosystems, I’d like to hear the community’s perspective.
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Trading as an Open Sport on: September 25, 2025, 03:23:16 PM
Personally, trading is something private, you place your orders, manage risk and maybe share a chart if the need arises probably to a mentee and that's all. But recently, the idea of trading challenges crossed my mind. And mostly with this your moves aren’t private at all. Instead, every trade is tied to a wallet, performance is fully transparent with a possibility of tracking how good or poor you’re performing irl.

If it was up to me I do not see it as a big deal given I get to trade BTC, SOL, BGB, AVNT and DOGE in this Trading champioship 10 however it's almost like turning trading into a public sport. I see this might push traders to become more disciplined or do you think it could create pressure and FOMO that ruins good decision-making amongst the traders.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / ETFs inflow; bullish or bearish signal on: September 24, 2025, 10:18:06 PM
Been coming across news that U.S. regulators are streamlining crypto ETF approvals, which could open the door for more institutional inflow. At the same time, the market just reminded us how fragile leverage still is with billions liquidated.

Some are speculating these ETFs as a bullish signal while some have opposite sentiment, either way I'm kinda bullish.
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / The liquidation wave triggered by the Fed's rate cut on: September 23, 2025, 10:36:07 PM
The latest liquidation wave wiped out over $1.5B in leveraged positions across BTC, ETH and the majors in the last 24 hours. Market cap dipped back under $4T, but Bitcoin is still holding $112K support zone.

What’s interesting is how the Fed’s recent rate cut might have fueled the over-leveraging, many rushed into it. Pushing leverage across the board and now we’re seeing the brutal side effects.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Airdrops Still Worth It ? on: September 23, 2025, 10:20:34 PM
Looking forward to Metamask airdrop.
Are there requirements already for the said an airdrop? I know that there will be a metamask token but I'm not aware for an airdrop.

Curious, which airdrop are you actively looking into ?
None so far but if there will be. Those are only the notable ones and that known that has a huge chance of being successful. If metamask will have its airdrop then that's it. But if not, everyone is looking forward to own that token IMO.
Also looking forward to what Metamask has in store with that token. OG protocol is one of the potential ones I've come across in a while. Still watching if the momentum would continue since it listed with a launchpool on Bitget.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Are Airdrops Still Worth It ? on: September 22, 2025, 10:26:00 PM
Lately, it got clearer there is a significant shift in how users participate in airdrops. Few years back, everyone hopped on any offer to get free token be it bounties or airdrops. Many were gems with easy rewards but now, airdrops are more strategic. Not just giveaways but these projects test real community strength before going big.

I still think airdrops are worth checking out. The real trick is filtering out the noise and DYOR. If you noticed OG listed today with a bullish momentum, now BLESS is also about to list with about 5 million participants. This made me rethink how airdrops can actually still be rewarding if it got a good usecases and great funding. Though not every project turns into an opportunity like that, but if OG could perform that well, BLESS also has a chance.

Curious, which airdrop are you actively looking into ?
13  Economy / Economics / Bitcoin’s volatility drops below Nasdaq 100 firms on: September 19, 2025, 03:15:46 PM
It's well known BTC was referred to as “too volatile” to be taken seriously in it's early years. However, the irony is happening now because data now shows Bitcoin’s realized volatility is lower than most Nasdaq-100 stocks. The asset many regarded as high risk then is now showing more price stability than the biggest tech names on Wall Street.

I see this as a signal of true market maturity or is it just the calm before another storm?
14  Economy / Economics / Bitcoin surged amid Fed Cuts on: September 18, 2025, 10:24:41 PM
Bitcoin surged to $117,000 following the Federal Reserve's 25 basis-point rate cut on September 17, marking its first reduction since December 2024. This move has injected liquidity into risk assets with Bitcoin leading the rally as usual.
As of now, Bitcoin is trading at $117,299, up 1.76% from the previous close. The intraday high reached $117,935 while the low was $115,436.

This rally has sparked discussions about Bitcoin's potential to break past the $120,000 mark with some analysts predicting a continuation of the upward trend.

Would Bitcoin continue with the current trajectory ?
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto funding dropped 30%, is this a bearish sign ? on: September 17, 2025, 12:30:14 PM
Am not to argue on whether this is true or not, but once we say that there are opportunities in cryptocurrency and we also know how volatile it is, we cant always expect for an uptrend each time, at least sometimes this has to be that some of the investors may shift in to other investment when they are dumping to later pump it back, whereas having an uptrend on most of the market prices are also more convincing that people should not just opt out like that, you wont be surprised if the investors suddenly came back and continue buying and buying the more.
I hope this is the case (a temporary cool down) and not an early signal for a deeper bearish cycle. If this is one of those phases where the market is shaking out weak hands before stronger projects get bigger capital, then it would be great. Really want to new ATHs before this cycle ends.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Ethereum holding strong while Treasuries are pressured on: September 17, 2025, 12:13:43 PM
Standard Chartered recently noted that digital asset treasuries are under pressure, but Ethereum seems to be holding strong solely due to staking yields and network activity.

It made think about Bitcoin because unlike Ethereum, Bitcoin doesn’t have native yield mechanisms except some new Defi projects, yet it continues to be seen as the most valuable treasury reserve. You know while some insinuate about Ethereum ecosystem derailing, it continues to show how strong its ecosystem is.

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ecosystem Growth and Ongoing Challenges on: September 15, 2025, 09:46:32 AM
Ethereum continues to be the epicenter of decentralized apps, enabling industries such as DeFi, NFTs and tokenization. Its extensive developer community is experimenting with new tools and applications, ensuring a lively and varied network. For lots of projects, it remains the go-to site for testing and launching ideas.

At the same time, Ethereum has a problem. High gas fees and a lack of scalability, combined with competition from faster blockchains means the pressure is on to always deliver something better than before. While upgrades will resolve these problems, the larger question is how the ecosystem will adjust over time. Will Ethereum be able to preserve its lead, or will newer networks dominate?
You know the high gas fee issue on Ethereum is as a result of huge activity on the blockchain, that shows despite the cons Ethereum has, many users activities is still get concentrated on it. sometimes be seen as signs of its strength. However if it continues on this track, another blockchain might dominate over it but that would be kinda difficult because it has proven to be resilient over the years with the new innovations it brings up.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Crypto funding dropped 30%, is this a bearish sign ? on: September 13, 2025, 06:03:40 PM
Crypto funding reportedly fell by about 30% in August, even though many projects showed solid growth. Some traders viewed this as a bearish signal, stating that VCs are pulling back because they expect weaker conditions ahead. Others argue it could actually be bullish, since less funding pumped into the market often forces weaker projects out, leaving the stronger ones to thrive.

That makes me wonder whether the slowdown is simply part of the cycle setting up for the next rally or if it’s could be capital shifting toward other industries such as AI.

Personally, I see it as two ways; the pullback could hurt short-term growth but it might also create a healthier foundation for the next bull run. What’s your take, could this decline in funding be a bearish warning or the pullback before another breakout ?

19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 🏆 If You're New to Crypto Here's Some Stuff I Wish Someone Told Me Early On on: September 13, 2025, 01:37:47 PM

- Be careful from Drainers
there are website that ask you to connect your wallet to get an Airdrop (free coins of an project) 99% them are scam
once u connect your wallet your Coins will be gone ( even if you have 0$  but you add balance to that wallet after few months they will be gone )
Read more about Drainers here https://usa.kaspersky.com/blog/what-is-a-crypto-wallet-drainer/29713/

Use 2 wallets  1 Main for Long term which you only store your Bitcoin as an invesment and dont touch till you are a millionaire
and the 2nd wallet for any payments or thing u need daily

All the points you mentioned are solid.New users should understand the differences between hot wallets, cold wallets, multisig, and hardware devices. For long-term storage, hard ware storage is essential. And keeping in mind that seed phrase should be written down physically in multiple backup spaces are very important because nowadays many prefer to store these sensitive details digitally with the risk of losing it at any time
20  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Please Give up! If you notice trading is not for you. on: September 11, 2025, 10:20:55 AM
There are alot of preachings and sensitization about how one should be persistent in the journey of trading and not to give up.

Please my opinion is to take that advice with a pinch of salt because when you have spent years learning the skill of trading and it doesn't seem to go well for you, I advice you get some other skills that might work for you.

The idea of wasting money in funding accounts for years is totally a waste of time and resources. Please reconsider because trading is not the only means of earning a living. thank you

Everyone can't be traders. Obviously there are people who are better skilled in some other areas. Everyone should give attention to the areas they are passionate about and to develop their skills in those areas. Yes, give up trading if you can't seem to figure it out.
It's best to use some AI tools at times to assist with trading just like I did when I realized trading was getting rough. Tested trading bots on Binance, Bitget and OKX to assist with analysis but Getagent on the second made me the most profits so i partially agree that everyone can't be traders because sometimes all it takes is to switch the tools and strategy implemented.
