1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the only one reaching new highs on: Today at 01:38:31 PM
~snip~
Bitcoin is at the highest level among all currencies, but some altcoins are still surviving. However, most people are not interested in investing in altcoins, but rather they are interested in investing in Bitcoin. Because Bitcoin is guaranteed to reach its highest height, even if its price drops, good money can be made from it later, there are many who are still losing money by investing in altcoins, so many people do not want to invest in it, altcoins do not survive for a long time, so they want to invest in Bitcoin. However, some altcoins are still surviving.

You are right. Some altcoins are still surviving, but Bitcoin still remains the father of all of them in the crypto space. There is no cryptocurrency that is progressing like Bitcoin till now, and I believe it will be like that, and that is the reason why many don’t want to invest in altcoins rather than Bitcoin because Bitcoin has been the reason for many people changing to wealthy people right now, and Bitcoin is still the leader of all cryptocurrencies.

Because people and institutions would rather believe in BTC than in something that can be pulled by the strings from which they stir.

It's logical and natural to choose BTC Wink
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Satoshi saw today’s Bitcoin, would he call it a failure? on: Today at 07:12:15 AM
Satoshi Nakamoto original idea was decentralized money system without banks or governments but today most Bitcoin is held on big exchanges and in ETFs and KYC are everywhere. This shift away from peer to peer use happened because Bitcoin needed to work with traditional financial system to become valuable and widely accepted.

So Bitcoin huge success and value might make Satoshi proud move towards centralization and away from its original goal is big debate which conflict between Bitcoin originality and what it has become.

I wouldn't say it - needed - to comply to become big as it is now.

More so that it happened on the get-go due to BTC's own nature, and everybody can get into it, centralized or not Wink
3  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: August 05, 2025, 01:13:53 PM
That's baseless claims. Imagine the creator itself lose access of his Bitcoin wallet? He's not a nobody in the scene or a total newbie. For sure he have lots of experience for cryptography and know the consequences of losing the access of his own wallet.

He just vanish without a trace and those assumption is not valid since I believe Satoshi is genius and chances for that situation to happen is so less
Satoshi gave this advice to others so it's quite no chance he deleted his wallets or lost his wallets too easily.

The person who originally sent the broken transactions deleted his wallet
Sigh... why delete a wallet instead of moving it aside and keeping the old copy just in case?  You should never delete a wallet.

I just searched a topic about that mined Bitcoin before here it is https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=175996.msg1832533#msg1832533 but until now its not proven.
Some more topics about Satoshi Nakamoto and possibly estimated bitcoins he mined in the past.

Thanks for bringing up the useful links to the table too.

This is not funny anymore. It has become completely uninteresting to play. Whether they pay me this money or not, to be honest, I don't care anymore.

I do think that it's not funny at all too.. For everybody involved.

I hope you will find new places to have a good time then.

There is nothing else to do - when you don't have other places or people to deliver the problem, you go to wherever you see fit, maybe someone will tell about their experience, etc.. Some tell they got their funds in the end, some - no, I would say the majority, even.

I was paid 0.00250000 BTC last Monday. Now it is hanging in pending payment of 0.00300000 BTC since last Monday, exactly 7 days.

Let's hope you will get these funds to yourself eventually too..

Well, why am I not surprised... the only question is whether it goes all the way to zero this time or will hold at a few satoshis.

By the way, judging by the comments looks like more and more people are having problems with the site... and apparently, they believe they can find some help here on the forum. They don't know some people lost all hope a long time ago.

8  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betpanda.io | Anonymous Crypto Casino | Welcome Bonus Up to 1BTC on: August 04, 2025, 10:43:37 AM
I have been trying to reset my password for days now but they never send the email for password reset, I don't know if anyone have had this issue before. I have used the casino before and even participated in their wagering contest too but somehow I forgot my password.
Were you able to do email verification when you registered with Betpanda.io? If you had previously done that, I don’t see how you should have any issues with password reset. The worst that could happen is, the email only having to arrive late which could be due to insufficient server resources or other reasons not exempt from time zones. Well, these are indeed rear but, you could always try again some other time or in a different day.

Interesting to see what the Support would say about this one, but I hope OP will have his problem resolved eventually, things like that may happen anywhere..
9  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⭐ Razed.com ⭐ The Best Crypto Casino ♠♥♦♣ on: August 01, 2025, 03:46:21 PM
You're right, the super scatter will instantly drop multiples if 3 scatters appear simultaneously. However after playing in this Slot, I have not been able to find it while in Gates of Olympus I have received super scatter more than 2x.
You have a good gambling schedule, before the time comes don't force yourself to find a budget to gamble.

The maximum in the GoO is around 4, right?
10  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⭐ Razed.com ⭐ The Best Crypto Casino ♠♥♦♣ on: August 01, 2025, 03:16:48 PM
Actually I played that game yesterday, I didn't get a huge multiplier, but I was able to turn my capital into 2x so that is good enough for me. I was just lucky that I'm getting great tumbler and hitting like 4 times in a row.

And then I got into a bonus round, it's decent, but it's not as big as a regular game for me. But I decided to just quit and withdraw all my money as I'm very happy to at least double it already so I'm cool with that and not targeting big multiplier as I might lose all my winnings including my capital.
That's basically how it should be, in luck-based games you need to manage your winnings as well as possible and exit early if you've got a 100% return. I also usually when depositing $10 and then successfully winning $10 means that capital + 30% profit must be withdrawn. The remaining 70% is redeployed, no matter the result is bad, because the winnings have been secured.

That's a good strat and it ensures you get what you wanted from the start.

We always should play knowing fully well that sometimes, luck might not be on our side this exact day.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to hold Bitcoin for long term without being tempted to sell. on: August 01, 2025, 02:00:53 PM
I believe that any bitcoin investor has at least 1 other source of income, I rarely see someone who depends solely on bitcoin and considers it their main source of income.

Moreover, there are many temptations that influence and can shake our will, such as the strong fluctuations in bitcoin prices. For example, if the price increases or decreases too quickly, many people will become greedy and want to make short-term profits, or some people will want to optimize to increase the number of bitcoins they hold. Or when faced with too much FUD, many people lose patience and confidence, leading to dumping their bitcoins. Overall, there are many temptations that make us sell bitcoins, not just the temptation of financial pressure.

Long term holding is never easy.

It's impossible even without a proper income first.

And to not to be scared of fluctuations, we need to understand BTC.

Because without that knowledge, we will always pull our hair off when such thing happen on the chart..
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to hold Bitcoin for long term without being tempted to sell. on: August 01, 2025, 12:12:14 PM
I think the best thing to do so that you cannot touch your holdings of bitcoin is to have another source of income, the reason for me is, so that you have another funds that can be use on emergencies, or worse scenario, because if you will have you're bitcoin, and no other source of income, aside from job there is a higher chance you will be able to touch it, or save up a lot that those bitcoin will never cross you're mind to be touch or anything, that is my opinion.

To get more BTC is to have a good life standard, and to have the funds to sustain your investment, so - definitely, you are right.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Algeria Ban Bitcoin, Users to Face Sanction. on: August 01, 2025, 07:13:55 AM
I believe that the ban of bitcoin will not be that effective, because before now we had so many records of countries that ban bitcoin, so we don't need to panic of Algeria banning bitcoin..they only have access to figure out forex traders of bitcoin because traders needs investors, but for people who invest, like buy and hold for long periods I don't think that they will know that people are holding Bitcoin, why I said so, because bitcoin is not a centralized currency in which a country can have access to. Bitcoin is a decentralized currency and I believe that a decentralized currency is not been monitored by government, except that you are trading Bitcoin manually
Yes the ban of bitcoin won’t affect bitcoin price but it will definitely affect the growth of bitcoin in Algeria. I disagree with your statements, though Bitcoin is decentralized, the government can get the information of its citizens that use centralized exchanges to buy/sell bitcoins. I don’t know what you mean by “trading bitcoin manually”, do you mean p2p?

Yep, that's why we need to stay away from such platforms in case the misfortune would strike: CEXes would provide what's needed in case they would be asked to do so, and we wouldn't want that..
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sign to accept your salary in bitcoin? on: July 31, 2025, 12:39:18 PM
Even if you are not earning $750,000 and you are not rich enough to put all your salary into investment yet, accepting bitcoin for your salary sounds a good deal. Some people are worried about the fluctuations in the market but as long as the employer gives you the equivalent amount of btc in usd, I think there should be no problems, am I not right? The good thing is if you are planning to put your salary in bitcoin to invest, you do not need to convert it into bitcoin since it was given to you in bitcoin already.
When you are as rich as him, you do not have to turn it into fiat, you can keep it there and it doesn't really matter at all. Because he can keep it at bitcoin ,and he can keep it there for another 20 years. He is wealthy, made millions, and if he wasn't stupid with his money (and looks like he wasn't) then he should be fine.

This is the most important part, and that is the future we live in, people will turn their investments and savings into bitcoin and will make money for the long term. He provided proof that he wasn't stupid for doing this, and even during the crash, he didn't sell and waited for it to recover and now he is in profit thanks to our bull run. He could have said this even earlier considering he made profit long ago.

Exactly.

That's why we, as those who don't have so much cash on us, need to come up with something that would satisfy us in the end, yet it needs to be adapted to our situations.

Surely, the man in the OP did well, but we, on the other hand, would need to have some part of our salary in fiat anyways.. if we didn't stock it up.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sign to accept your salary in bitcoin? on: July 31, 2025, 11:51:45 AM
Indeed, there should be no issues putting Bitcoin as our salary but that will depend on how good our government accepts it. But I still use fiat as my salary because that makes it easy for me to use the money. I can not use Bitcoin as a payment and my government only allows us to use Bitcoin as a commodity.

I don't mind converting my fiat to Bitcoin by purchase in local exchanges. It is easy to buy Bitcoin because of the government allowance. That could be done if my government also allowed people to use Bitcoin to purchase anything in the market. But so far, there is no sign from them so we can not use it.

Regulations aren't there yet, and I don't think they will be in the upcoming years, but we need to never say never especially in the crypto space Cheesy
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin & PayPal on: July 31, 2025, 09:43:48 AM
I read somewhere online that PayPal is looking forward to add extra numbers of crypto to allow the use of payment for merchants in the United States, I am sure that I am not the only one that saw this news.

I then remember that PayPal already supported Bitcoin in the past years already, my question is for any PayPal users on here, if you are trying to make payment online are you somehow given the option to settle payment in Bitcoin instead? I will like to know and also for that fact that it's been long already I believe I should be able to get an answer atleast.

It's 2025, are there ways to use Bitcoin to shop on Amazon and Best Buy.

BTC is still converted to USD at checkout, so.. I wouldn't say it's the biggest win, but it's still one.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to hold Bitcoin for long term without being tempted to sell. on: July 31, 2025, 07:42:02 AM
Having other source of income can make you hold bitcoin for long term and you will not be tempted to trade without long term holding, apply patient in your bitcoin holding is another method you can use to succeed in holding bitcoin for long term before you will be satisfy to trade to earn income because there is always an opportunity for those that hold bitcoin for long term to earn different income from the market,  using safe wallet to hold your bitcoin will allow you to hold for long term because you will not be thinking of scammers to have access to your coins because you know how safe or solid the wallet is for bitcoin holding before you chose the wallet, let two coin be your choice of holding, if bitcoin and altcoin is your choice, you will prefer to release altcoin when you have financial issues and continue holding your bitcoin for long term.

Yep, or to convert the alt on its peak in BTC anyways.

Surely, one can try to swap between em to get something, but it usually would end in a loss.. and not worth it.

19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ...and they closed my bank account... on: July 30, 2025, 07:14:29 PM
Banks are centralized and they control our money via the holding account they opened for us in our names and details but with Bitcoin, you are the manager of your asset and you are also to secure your asset by yourself not as banks helps us to secure it. So, if we ever wonder why banks takes someone certain actions on our accounts, we should not forget that it how centralized institutions run their company with rules and regulations that falls in line with government policies, they always need to give account to the central system through which they operate from.

Each chooses his own way, but anyways, we can't go without fiat too far as of now, we still need to rely on it in many cases.

BTC is the future Cool
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investors: part of people that can survive a recession on: July 30, 2025, 01:00:34 PM
Even if it dips - it's still going to go up eventually.
Yes, it will still going up right after it dips. Because the demand is there and the investors that are waiting for the bottom has already got their buy orders ready.

We can't be seeing ATH after ATH all the time, but what we can do is hodling it properly.
Well, we've just seen it this cycle and it's ATH after ATH but then, it has stopped and we'll have to wait again sometime until it shows any motion of going up and breaking the past ATH.

I guess stats like that needs to be specific about investors because there are biased people that still don't think that Bitcoin is a good investment.

They want BTC to be some kind of stock - whereas in truth, it's natural for it to fluctuate and not be "stable", thus, they see it as something not worth the risk.

Though, some companies start to see through this FUD smoke Wink
