Ok I double clicked setup, I double clicked run and the wallet synced in, I put http://127.0.0.1:18000 into my browser and all I have is a black screen is this normal? I thought something was supposed to be there HAHA maybe I am missing something ALSO is there a config file and how do i solo mine this coin with SHA-256 rigs, since I cant see all the cool features due to my black browser page I can see the difficulty. I am very interested in this coin I just cant figure it all out HAHA Thanks  Incredibly sorry for the latent response I had a family situation today. Do you have TeamViewer? I could fix you right up I'm sure within minutes. Just minimize/close whatever you'd prefer to keep private or not want me seeing. I'm willing to bet this is because a custom directory was used and in v2 this will all be circumvented by a standard Windows installation path with a Windows installer. What was the solution? I have had this exact problem as well, I just haven't had time to work on it. Wherever you've set the custom datadir to - when you first ran neoscoin-qt - go in there and create neoscoin.conf (note: make sure it's not .conf.txt). Put the following in there: rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcuser=neoscoin rpcpassword=the-password-showing-from-the-command-window listen=1 server=1 Then save it and restart the Qt wallet. Refresh the wallet interface in your browser and it should come up now. If not, just let me know and I'll get you squared away. =) The password can be found in that command window where it reads http://neoscoin:<password is here>@localhost Best regards, syntaks Awesome, I'll do that when I get home later. Hi! Sorry if that's already answered earlier - but what's wrong (if there is something wrong with it at all) with the difficulty right now for X11 mining (2M right now)?

Two things:
1. Chrome on Windows 8.1 flags the "windows.zip" binary archive as possible malware. It says "Windows isnt normally downloaded." This needs to be changed to a version controlled file name. I suggest something like "Neos_v1.0.0_Win.zip" I know its a bit pedantic, but this would be disconcerting to a more general user. I also know it made me hesitate.
I just renamed it. Good thought and thanks. 2. I get nothing but a solid webpage when I go to 127.0.0.1:18000 I have the wallet running from a mounted drive, if that makes any difference. Only one error is coming up, but the server appears to be running ok. The question is did you move anything around or modify your neoscoin.conf? I am using a version of SPH-Sgminer with the Darkcoin kernel to mine X11. It seems to be working for Neos, as well as it ever has for Drk. Update from us - There was an issue with allocation of blocks - as this coin's block hash uses the "scrypt encoding" of the block hash, rather than the (more standard) block hash for block referencing.
We have updated both our X11 and Blake pool now to handle this.
I solved block 346 264. Can you explain when the payouts will occur? I sent an email but I have not received a response. When I enter my address on the Payout Information page nothing comes up. In fact the same happens when I enter any of the addresses that have solved blocks. edit: This is referencing Hashharder.com's Neos pool. Replied to your email. Thanks for the response! For everyone else's benefit, will you be kicking off payouts for all of the finds up to block 419 (before the fix was put in)? |

Is anyone hosting a block explorer? I am at work and I can't seem to find one. I can't install the wallet on my machine here just to navigate the blockchain.
