If I want to give a friend 1/10 of a bitcoin, (he has never used bitcoins so does not have a wallet), can I just send it through email to him, he then later register a wallet to get the gift from me? Or does he have to get a wallet first? I want it to be a suprise to him so would be great no to tell him to get a wallet first.
