1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not judge the book by its cover on: September 23, 2025, 09:32:24 PM
Normally, investing in Bitcoin, you don't need to tell people the precise amount you have; it is an investment that you should keep private because letting people know about it won't add anything positive to the investment. Instead, it can even be a risk, as criminals may come after you.
Some bitcoiners are funny, always trying to prove a point with their investments and exposing themselves to unnecessary risks.  We don't care about how much bitcoin anyone owns and what they do with their bitcoins. Bitcoin is all about privacy and it should be best if bitcoiners will treat it this way for their own safety and the safety of their loved ones. Investing in bitcoin is a personal race, no one cares if we expose ourselves or not, except for criminals who are looking for preys.
Many disguise themselves because they know the value of what they hold and it’s only a true Bitcoin enthusiast knows about the importance of privacy and what it holds to security that will remain private about it.

Mean while Owning a Bitcoin it's for both average and rich people every one is freely to invest on it no matter how unpredictable Bitcoin can be many own a Bitcoin doesn't mean are rich just fighting for survivor as they wait patiently to achieve there goals

seclusion is also a key future of Bitcoin no one knows if you are an investor if you don't say it openly,
In most cases most people who brag about Bitcoin own no single unit of Bitcoin
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin eliminate local banks? on: August 09, 2025, 12:26:09 AM
Whenever a question like this about bitcoin eliminating anything comes up the straight answer is always that bitcoin isn’t here to eliminate anything but rather to provide alternative to those monetary or financial market shortcomings.

As you have rightly said banks still offers many options to users most especially those who do not care much about privacy. Loans can also be issued with bitcoin but sometimes it not easy like the one you would have with banks because of identity issues.

People should stop the narrative of bitcoin looking to take out anything from the market it is simply an alternative for people who seeks its utility

Bitcoin was not here for elimination rather creating future's to make a difference
Also we can say the local bank provide more options, costumers service etc which is more preferable to the less educated citizens

I would say No that Bitcoin won't eliminate local bank that provides more service  to the people

Bitcoin is not own by the government or individual like the local bank that provides you more options costumers service and more
Bitcoin is a decentralized  currency that only the holder can  control and determine what happens to there  Coin

7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This guy told us to buy bitcoin when it was just $1 ( watch the video) on: July 28, 2025, 12:22:06 AM
This video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cw29h7LhEuE) was posted 12 years ago, and the man in it was simply urging viewers to buy just $1 worth of Bitcoin, which by now would probably be worth at $118k. We really missed a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Just sharing this since it popped up on my Meta feed, maybe someone else finds it interesting too.
What can we say .
It's could had been more profitable if 70% or more of his viewers listen to him when Bitcoin was around $1 dollar we could imagine what billionaires they could have become

Looking at it at the order wey round the price of Bitcoin around 2013 when the video was uploaded Bitcoin was already at $13.22   and has been doing well growing massively

My question is could other coin be like Bitcoin
(Altcoin , shitcoin)
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: your bitcoin is not yours. on: July 26, 2025, 10:00:13 AM
Smile, thinking of it lately,

Market strategies really matters  your Bitcoin could be tempting it's all depends on you to decide to spend more  , but as a good miner tycoon

It's better not  spending unnecessary while you accumulate more Bitcoin
As long Bitcoin it's at the top have no reason to spend more on unnecessarily
It's better not spend more of your assets Bitcoin could be more helpful in future
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I depend solely on Bitcoin? on: July 25, 2025, 09:43:07 AM
A friend of mine just got into Bitcoin, lucky for him, his successful. Before he started Bitcoin, he was actually into a good business of selling artwork which wasn't so bad. So he got introduced to Bitcoin and had a quick success. It's actually a good and exciting thing to see someone progress fast like that, but he quit selling artworks and other little businesses that kept him going he stopped, he now depends fully on Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the king no doubt, but From my Point of view I think that depending fully on it might be risky to you financially. I don't recommend anyone to depend solely on Bitcoin or any single asset. Bitcoin can fluctuate rapidly and market volatility might impact your financial stability. It is actually very risky to invest in a single asset. The part that scares me the most is that my friend has put all his resources into this one asset. If am wrong please correct me. Thanks
Why , it's not advisable as an investor to depend fully on Bitcoin

market price fluctuate, Bitcoin price can change rapidly , to predict market trends can be  risk.

Investors should know how to handle there potential losses and manage their risk with a investment strategies not putting all penny to avoid a bigger lost                                     he can still make some income with the artwork while waiting for the Bitcoin market to hit the jackpot,,
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin just for the rich? on: July 24, 2025, 09:03:00 PM
Someone said that Bitcoin is for the rich, but that's not completely true. It might feel like Bitcoin is for the rich due to the media focuses on celebrities and billionaires buying and benefiting from Bitcoin. This creates a perception that Bitcoin is a rich person's asset. Even during network congestion, fees can spike making small transactions very expensive. But let's not forget that Bitcoin is neutral, it can empower the rich or help lift the poor, it actually depends on how communities adopt it. So understand that Bitcoin is for everyone, you can buy tiny fractions, not until you afford a whole Bitcoin.

You won’t say bitcoin is just for the rich alone, both the rich and the average person are all allowed to own bitcoin as long as you can afford it, it’s you who is taking the risk that will determine if you are worthy of it or not.

All you need before you can start investing is a strategy that will work fine for you base on your income not just in bitcoin investment but also in anything you want to invest on, you should invest with what you can afford and as you keep on going you can also grow your trust and interest if you should invest more or not having in mind that no investment is risk free.
