Hi Miners,
i had some questions, the answers i don't found in the forum or here. What is the best configuration on a Xeon server with 5 x 4TB?
I had 128GB Ram. So i so verry confused about plotsize and staggersize.
How could i exactly calculate the plotsize? Is it important, that the value must divideable through 256?
Could someone help me with the calculation?
File 1: wplotgenerator xx 0 14200000 20096 4 /async File 2: wplotgenerator xx 14200001 28400001 20096 4 /async
Is this a correct calculation? Is it better to do this with a staggersize of 40000 or 60000? An is this only important for the generation? Or when i then use 5 Miners, so i require 5 x staggersize?
I realy confused...sorry for the basics questions...
1 nonce = 256kb. Stagger the higher the better for your disks. Is this only for the generation important? The higher stagger the better for your disks when mining. Why is this overlapping? xx_0_14423040_240384 xx_14423040_29086464_240384 xx_29086464_43749888_240384 it confuse me...is somewhere a tool to do the exact plots? Because the 2nd plot is 29086464 nonces starting on 14423040 is the range 14423040 - 43509503, which goes past the start of the next file. omg...i see it...its to late...

Hi Miners, if i had round 12TB on one burst address and 14TB on the other address. What could be the best option? 1. Mining solo? 2. Dev.Pool2 3. Urrays Pool?
Is the GPU Plotter now in a functional status?
Thanks 😎

Hi Miners,
could someone explain me how i could compile the plot.c miner under windows? I had to use MinGW for compiling? Sorry but I'm winows guy...
https://www.dropbox .com/s/rkl330l82qfogf2/plotgen_win.zip?dl=0 But this is a problem , if you generate a plot with the pubblick key ( and not with the passphrase or the address) you can't mining in solo with it . Or Am I wrong ? Wrong, passphrase need only to miner, plots you can generation with pubblick key. But I've generated the plot with my public key , the problem is when I want to mine with the miner.bat So i need my public key...and i had it to compile?

I had a question. When i mine in the pool V2 and i plot files at the moment, is it possible to mine at these files? I get no valid shares and shares the are successfully transferd to the pool.
So i'm ban from pool? Help me...i'm confused 😩
If you just started plotting with the new ID for pool v2, you need to let it run longer. After 2-300 Gb of plots you will start seeing shares at a smaller interval Thanks :-). I hat the same id for all of my plots, is that right? The v1 pool used a different ID. Pool v2 uses the same ID as the wallet. Which one are you using? I use the wallet id. And my plots are from 0->x x+1->y ...could One miner Scan more plotfiles or is it right one miner for echt hdd?

starting at plot 1 and stopping at plot 80000 is that going to use as much space as possible on my HDD? ( for maximum hdd hash rate)?
No, starting at 1 and plot to 50gb (your max free space on you hd).

Can I have some assistence please, Im trying to get started and ive been successfully following instructions except for this part
this example :
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\java -Xmx1000m -cp pocminer.jar;lib/*;lib/akka/*;lib/jetty/* pocminer.POCMiner generate xxxxx plot#tostartwith plot#toendwith 1000 4
how do i know where i want my plot to start and end? could i have some clarification please, and how would i go about setting this up on multiple harddrives... and lastly what are the to last arguments on the end of this.. the 1000 and the four?
use the run_generate.bat, its easier. run_generate.bat id-that-you-got-from-running-run_dump_address.bat starting-nonce ending-nonce stagger-size cores-to-use like this run_generate.bat 987654567890987612 0 80000 8000 7 It will start from nonce 0 and will plot to nonce 80000 The next file should start at nonce 80000 to whatever you want it to be. Like: run_generate.bat 987654567890987612 80000 80000 8000 7 The same applies if you run across multiple drives. Do not overlap the nonces. Start your next file from where you stopped the previous one I think I'm even more confused now, I'm noob. okay i am editing my generate bat file. i have my ID in there but I do not know what plots to use, or "nonces" to use, should i just use the 0 to 80000?? will it figure it out by it self? im testing it on a old computer i have sitting around with like 50gb freespace... before i unpack some harddrives i want to know what I am doing. Hi, you have to plot from 0 to "HDD free space x 4096" and if you want to use more plotfiles then from "(plotfilesize1) +1 to "(HDD free space x 4096)+plotfilesize1".

Hi HDD Miners, is it a problem, if i had 3 HDD's 4GB HDDS, on the first the plotfile is at the moment 1,5TB, the second at the moment 150GB and the third also have 150GB plotfile at the moment. The plotfile is like 0-10 11-20 21-30...is it possible to mine on all @ the pool in this status? Thanks Could someone Explain?

Hi HDD Miners, i don't want to ask, but i also had no burst for joining the v2 pool. Could someone send me 1- or 2 burst (BURST-NJ3K-XRD6-XFE7-DDEWF)? Thanks Yes, if someone could send me 2-3 BURST coins, I'll bet I could be nice for at least 3-4 posts. BURST-MYMR-JJN2-ZYSH-9XBTT Sent 49 to each. (I would send more but I'm a greedy fuck ) Thanks, that's great! Have a nice day
