I'm continuing with 200 push-ups. Bitcoin is stagnant these days. September is coming to an end. I had predicted a slightly higher closing price in the competition we held in our local section. There are three days left for the month-end closing to be positive. Maybe we'll see an increase.

Welcome back, great to see you keeping up with the push-up challenge 💪 — respect for pushing through with 200, that’s solid discipline! On the Bitcoin side, yeah it’s been a bit stagnant, but with three days left in September, there’s still room for a positive move. Market surprises often come when people least expect it. Let’s stay optimistic that green monthly close might still happen. I was able to complete 120pushups these morning, would be going out to jogging too, have a nice day everyone. I believe the concept of HODLing Bitcoin is nearly as old as Bitcoin itself with the fundamental reason and hope that it will increase more in value over the years. Although several persons are entitled to there own reasons for HODLing, could it be that some persons HODL because they are waiting for the perfect time or they are too scared to sell or lose a percentage of their Bitcoin?
I believe people who hold BTC are not scared at all, they just have enough knowledge of the game, if you do your homework well you would realize people who hold BTC tend to gain more on the long run than those that trade, the percentage of people trading and realizing alot of profit is quite little to those that are loosing their investment, the risk is higher with trading you require indebt knowledge and understanding to be able to trade and make profit. So just go around the community and read more from the experienced investors in the platform and you would definitely find an answer that's my own take.

As we begin to proceed into the end of the year and looking into the approaching year these are a list of things we should ensure we do to safeguard our investment.
1. Protect Your BTC Move savings to cold storage, back up seed phrase in 2 safe spots.
2. Balance Smartly Keep some in stablecoins (USDT/USDC). Hold naira cash for emergencies.
3. Test Your Exchange Use only SEC/CBN-compliant platforms, turn on 2FA + withdrawal protection, try a small withdrawal now.
4. Track Everything Export trade history, Screenshot P2P deals.
5. Watch the Naira Follow parallel market rates.Time buys/sells based on spreads.
6. Stay Scam-Free No “guaranteed returns". Double-check Telegram/WhatsApp groups and Stick with trusted exchanges.
7. Prep for 2026 Rules Expect reporting requirements, keep records clean for SEC/EFCC.
Tip: Treat December as your crypto check-up month — secure, balance, and document before the new year hits.

Life is about determination, so the earlier you accept to challenge yourself on things you think is so difficult For you, you can never make a different until you start pushing and never slack no matter how many times you keep pushing, just continue pushing because one day you will realize that you are perfect on those things that seem difficult for you and if by preventure as a newbie in this forum and finding it difficult to coup within the forum but believe that once you are determined that you can do it, you surely survive because nothing seems difficult until remove the fear or the mindset that you can make it through the process of building up your Bitcoin portfolio and to survive in the forum, so newbies should ignore all things that will distract them from pushing forward than keeping pushing because nothing good comes easily in this life.
Life no dey easy, na true. But as you talk, determination na the real fuel wey dey move person forward. If you no gree challenge yourself, how you wan take grow? See am like dis, every hustle get wahala, but if you dey push steady, na only matter of time before the thing wey look hard go begin look like play. As newbie for this forum, e dey normal say e go first hard you. You fit dey fear say you no sabi contribute or say people sabi pass you. But na just mindset. No dey compare yourself with anybody. Everybody start from zero, na consistency carry them go far. Ignore noise and distractions. Some go wan discourage you, some go talk say Bitcoin too risky, some go even laugh your grammar, but no mind them. Keep your eyes for your goal. Remember say "small small, bush go clear." Slowly, you go dey build your knowledge, your portfolio, and even your confidence. So my people, as dem dey always talk for street: “Nothing wey sweet dey come easy. Na only who gree push go chop fruit." Make we newbies just calm down, learn, contribute, and no slack. One day we sef go turn example for others.

The weather is expected to cool down a lot going forward here, so I took advantage and had a nice day out in the sun today. I am exhausted, but glad to soak up as much sunshine as I could. Now to relax and watch an episode of Peacemaker while I look for something snackworthy.

For Naija, our street hustle/underground economy dey carry more than half of GDP, and na where plenty people dey chop daily bread. From pepper sellers for Mile 12, okada riders for Kano, mechanics for Aba, to phone repairers for Computer Village – na this sector dey pump life into the economy.
But majority of these hustlers dey bankless. Dem no too trust banks, dem dey fear hidden deductions, wahala service, and all the stress wey follow open account. Na hand-to-hand cash and man-to-man trust dey rule their world.
Still, Nigerians don dey create their own backyard finance system since long time:
Daily contribution (Ajo/Esusu/turn-by-turn money) – people gather, save, then collect their turn.
Airtime as money – for some rural side, recharge card dey serve like small change.
Roadside bankers (POS kiosks) – small shops wey don turn community banks.
Alert trust system – some traders dey collect screenshot of transfer before alert even show.
All these show say when banks no reach people, Nigerians dey find another way. But e bring us come this big question:
Bitcoin and the Hustle Life
Bitcoin fit really enter this kind street-level economy wey naira cash dey control everything?
Wetin go make am workable for trader wey no even get smartphone? (SMS wallet, offline BTC, Lightning, group pooling?)
If mobile money don scatter ground for Kenya, e fit be say Bitcoin go become our own “digital cash” for Naija?
Or na just overhype we dey do, because things like price wahala, unstable rate, literacy and trust still big matter?
Why E Matter
The real future of Bitcoin for Naija no go rest only on big companies or investors. E go rest on the ordinary hustlers and roadside traders wey dey change money every day. If Bitcoin fit give dem:
better savings wey banks no fit chop
sharp-sharp payment
protection from inflation wey dey kill naira
…then the matter don pass gamble – e don turn street-level financial freedom.
Make We Yarn
You sabi any small trader wey Bitcoin fit truly help (or maybe e no go help at all)?
With all the wahala of unstable price, scam, poor light and internet – how dem go survive am?
How Bitcoin education go fit enter grassroots level?
Which real-life steps we fit suggest to connect Bitcoin with Naija hustle life?
✅ Conclusion: Make we reason am together. If Bitcoin truly be “for the people,” then e suppose get answer for the majority of Nigerians wey dey grind daily inside street hustle.

Poverty & Bitcoin Growth in Nigeria. Why is Nigeria a country where over 133 million people live in poverty is also one of the fastest-growing Bitcoin markets in the world? 🤔
Could it be that poverty itself is the fuel driving BTC adoption? Let’s unpack this 🧵👇

I am committed to personal growth, I keep working to learn more. learning a skill is a good goal to reach for people are now learning skills that are no longer in demand. I want this thread to be like an open class room to share that skill you believe is in demand or that skill you have done that is no longer in demand it will help others have a good direction in life and prevent them from wasting unnecessary time. If personal growth is your thing please feel free to contribute. I have done some background research on in demand remote job one can do and for me Cybersecurity is worth being interested in. According to Wikipedia Cybersecurity has to do with securing of data, system, asset and so on. Cybersecurity is a skill that I am still in the process of learning so I am not a pro and I have not scored any job on cybersecurity but I am interested in this discipline and you may too because it is a discipline that even if you did not study any thing relating to Information management technology or computers you can still learn, the salary is lucrative, work remotely and the demand is very high. According to https://cybersecurityventures.com/jobs/ Cybersecurity available jobs is running into millions, their is a high demand for work force in Cybersecurity. https://youtu.be/8izo9zbGD3c?si=oVMKsXSj-Jw2uR0o For beginners this video can help give you a direction and also help you decide if it is something you would be interested in. As I continue to actively pursue this passion I will share things I have learnt. Cybersecurity is not the only remote jobs in demand so if you have any you may want to share. That’s a solid initiative, creating a thread like this is valuable because many people jump into learning skills just because they’re trending, only to later discover they aren’t really useful or in demand anymore. An “open classroom” style discussion lets people share real world insights, aside cybersecurity these are some other skills that are booming and on demand, they include; Blockchain, AI, Cloud computing, Data Analysis and Digital Marketing. With the current situation of the country, it's better to have a skill at hand because that's the only way you can become a valuable asset and also become useful to yourself first, we all know they are knw white collar jobs for the ordinary citizens of Nigeria except you are among the elite class, so everybody has to buckle up to secure their future, a stitch in time saves nine.

Many people see Bitcoin as quick money but they is another side to it, the pressure attached every decision or move in the market and your heart begins to beat fast sometimes it goes up and you are happy then it dumps and you begin to panic. Their is profit and their is pressure too. Sometimes I wonder if am the only one feeling this mental stress when trading BTC. How do you guys handle the pressure? Do you guys HODL no matter what happens or you sell quick so as to avoid regret? Because the pressure is real.
I assume you are new to bitcoin and crypto currency investment and trading, what you are talking about here is the symptoms of someone who is new to crypto and all I can advice you right now is to keep going, a time will come when you will no longer feel any pressure and anxiety in the volatility of the price of Bitcoin and any other crypto currency that you hold or trading.. I remember that what you are facing right now is exactly what I myself went through when I was relatively new and had started investing in bitcoin and some other Altcoins, there were alot of times I panic sold because the price was coming down and just immediately after selling, the price will start rising again like it was simply waiting for me sell off before it rises, and most times after this mistake, I end up buying back at a much higher price, it was really frustrating and I can't count the number of times I missed out on important opportunities that I would have made good money from because I panic sold too early and I refused to buy back at a higher price because I was angry. With time, I started to understand the market better and this days, I no longer care anymore, I can hold bitcoin and it can fluctuate as much as it likes and I won't even care whether the market exists or not even while my money is there. So, if you must succeed in bitcoin and crypto investment, you must learn to not panic but hold tight even when fluctuations hits hard, when prices are going down, see that as an opportunity to buy more instead of a time to panic. Experience is really the best teacher I must say, but just like u rightly said with time and experience you build the mindset and discipline to stay calm no matter the level of fluctuations in the market. Your story about panic selling and buying back higher is relatable. I guess the progression from a newbie to a confident investor begins when I stop reacting emotionally and start seeing dips as opportunities rather than threats. Big respect for not only overcoming those challenges but also for your words of encouragement so we can keep going. That’s exactly the kind of wisdom that helps people succeed long-term in Bitcoin and crypto.
