1  Economy / Services / Re: Find wallet decryption method - Reward 4 BTC on: August 23, 2025, 07:52:27 AM
As a follow-up:

I am offering a reward of 1 BTC for help in recovering access to my old funds.
The address in question (3.7 BTC from 2012):

https://mempool.space/address/1251x32scU1y8D2UEmK41oU8QMLdCqisNK

I have the EncModul v1.6 encrypted file (~64 KB, with the VshB&TehTeam markers).
From older posts, it seems this file only contains a hint to the real password.

I also have around 50 different wallet.dat files from that time.
It’s possible that the correct one is among them, but I don’t know which.

If anyone has knowledge, tools, or archived utilities for EncModul v1.6, and can help me identify the right wallet.dat and recover access, I will pay 1 BTC for a working solution.

Hello,

I’ve come across an old wallet file with the following structure:

|--BxW745Qu4D.EncModul.v1.6--|
<Base64 encrypted data>
|--VshB&TehTeam--|

After base64 decoding, the file is ~64 KB (65552 bytes), looks like pure ciphertext (entropy ~7.99, length is a multiple of 16).
It seems to be a custom encryption module called EncModul v1.6 by VshB&TehTeam.

I saw that this exact format was mentioned here years ago.
Does anyone have any information on:
   •   what tool/software this was,
   •   which encryption scheme it used (AES-CBC, GCM, something custom),
   •   and whether the original decryption utilities still exist?

Any hints, archives, or context from people who saw or used this back then would be greatly
