1  Economy / Economics / Re: What pushes the wealthy? on: September 11, 2025, 11:17:50 AM
Even people who are rich still carry the memory of when they weren’t. That fear of losing it all keeps them moving nonstop.
2  Economy / Economics / Re: Planning on starting any business? on: September 11, 2025, 11:11:06 AM
You’re right, without a serious management plan there’s no way to build something sustainable. Started a small project and quickly realized the need to bring order to procurement and contracts. Turned to Scanmarket, a cloud-based Source-to-Contract platform, and it greatly simplified the supplier and document side of things.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: High Pay, High Taxes or Low Pay, Low Taxes? on: September 11, 2025, 10:59:44 AM
Personally, I’d go for a higher income, even if it comes with higher taxes. I’d rather have a solid base and invest the difference. I actually came across an article that explains really well how to approach financial decisions when taxes become a critical factor: https://www.jdsupra.com/legalnews/5-key-considerations-for-defending-6534553/
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another Reason Why Bitcoin Will Go Up on: September 08, 2025, 08:33:30 PM
Yeah, this makes a lot of sense. Every time someone loses access to their wallet, it’s basically like those coins are gone forever. That shrinking supply is one of the things that keeps Bitcoin different from other assets. It’s kind of wild to think a chunk of the total supply is just sitting there, untouchable, making the rest of the coins more valuable
5  Economy / Services / Re: Using Figma or Canva for UI/UX Design for Either website or mobile app on: September 04, 2025, 01:43:12 AM
I’ve played around with both, and for actual UI/UX work Figma just feels more natural. Canva’s great for quick graphics or marketing stuff, but once I started doing proper layouts for a site I was building with CreativeWeb, a web design agency, Figma made way more sense. It’s easier to tweak components, keep everything consistent, and share the design with whoever’s doing the build.
