1  Economy / Service Announcements / Introducing a Secure Crypto Trading Journal (Free Version Available) on: September 24, 2025, 11:52:52 AM
Hello BitcoinTalk Community,

We’d like to introduce OKJournal – a professional trading journal designed specifically for cryptocurrency traders.

Key features:

  • 100% offline & private: all data is encrypted and stored locally on your Mac. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is sold.
  • Free version available: start with a 7-day free trial, full access, no commitment.
  • AI-powered insights on device: performance metrics (Sharpe, VaR, Beta, win rate) are calculated directly on your Mac, without cloud processing.
  • Portfolio analytics: track Binance, OKX, and Bybit (Coinbase coming soon).
  • Trade logging: capture entries, exits, screenshots, notes, and strategies.
  • Performance review: visualize equity curves, analyze profitable setups, reduce emotional mistakes.

OKJournal is built for traders who value speed, discipline, and security. Unlike web-based tools, it never exposes your trade history to third parties.

If you're interested in learning more, please visit our website at https://okjournal.io. We look forward to hearing your thoughts and feedback.
2  Economy / Economics / Re: Is a University Degree Still Worth Anything? on: September 22, 2025, 08:52:21 PM
I think they're worth it in certain industries such as medical, law, scientific, engineering etc where you simply cannot enter those jobs without a degree. But outside of that they are becoming increasingly difficult to justify. Gone are the days where simply having a degree puts you at the top of the CV pile.
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is influencing the growth in the number of traders? on: September 22, 2025, 07:37:51 PM
People think it’s a get rich quick scheme and there is no barrier to entry. Anyone can call themselves a day trader.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: Fake it til you make it? on: September 21, 2025, 03:32:39 PM
Many people suffer from imposter syndrome, the feeling that you’re not really as competent as people think you are. Sometimes “fake it till you make it” can be the answer.
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can you use ChatGPT for day trading on: September 20, 2025, 11:01:53 PM
We're still in the AI-phase of language models.

They are not designed to tell you the truth, they are designed to talk to you as if they were humans.

At this point, asking ChatGPT is not more or less reliable than walking up to a random stranger on the street and asking them. Could be true, could be entirely made up, you just have no way of knowing.
